We came here on opening day and enjoyed the following: Spicy Wonton, Octopus Balls, Roasted Beef Noodle Soup, and the Seafood chow mein in the restaurant. The servers were doing a great job on the first day, and I imagine they will only improve. KIND AND ATTENTIVE! The food was terrific. We enjoyed it so much we ordered other items to go for later as well. The servings are big enough to have some leftovers as well. Next time I want to have the hot tea with my meal. I absolutely love hand pulled noodles, pan fried buns, and dumplings. It's such a nice surprise to see them have such a place here in San Angelo especially one that does hand made noodles . They just reopened after renovations and I love what they've done and the way the play is decorated. The options are limited here though, but I figure that's more due to their market. I wish they did better with their fried rice. It lacks wok flavor and is flavored with soy sauce instead of seasoning. But they certainly have a monopoly here and it's the closest thing you'll get to authentic Chinese food in San Angelo. read more

4.5 average review? My family's experience was pretty bad. Ate here on a Friday night at 5:00 pm, three tables occupied and one guy at the bar. It was cold and my wife asked to be away from the door, hostess sat us close to the door. My wife asked if we could move to a different table and she said sure. Took a while for the waitress to stop by for drinks. Then took a while for the drinks to show up we got two of them, five minutes later we got the other two and put in our food order. We ordered a dumpling appetizer my wife asked if it would be out here before the food, the waitress looked at us straight faced and said she wasn't sure if it would. It showed up pretty quick. But we looked at each other for a while before a different server brought chopsticks and forks. No appetizer plates, which was a little awkward for dumplings. My wife's noodle soup showed up 15 minutes later. Twenty minutes after that of my daughters just got her chow win. My slow eating daughter daughter got her combination fried rice five minutes later. My orange chicken and noodles showed up five minutes after that. Weird spread on food showing up. Not sure why. The food was good but the wait staff and kitchen don't have their shit together which is a bit unusual for an Asian restaurant. We might try it again sometime and give them a chance at a better review but it was below par for service! ($120 bill deserves some level of organization) read more

We went to dine in last night, while waiting on our order and watching the cooks (3) make noodles and prepare meals I observed each one of the either rub their face or nose while cooking at least 3-4 times. The noodle maker kept texting on his cell phone (as most of us know are full of germs) and then kept making the noodles with out washing his hands. There was a lady sitting in the very back putting dumplings together ad several time she rubbed her nose and went back to making dumplings again without washing her hands as did the hostess as she took orders and payments. We checked this place out on Yelp and we saw the handmade noodles and thought we would give it a try. I ordered the combo chow mein and wow... the noodles were amazing!!! We did, however, make the mistake in ordering the fried rice as well as 2 orders of dumplings and were completely full after that. We also ordered 2 Thai Teas, which were amazing. The customer service was also amazing. Our waiter Mikky was very nice and brought our food out very quickly. The food took about 15-20 minutes to come out, but i guess that was because they are handmade noodles. Not really anything to complain about. Make sure to drop by this restaurant. read more

We order the steamed buns with pork, combination fried rice, and the tonkotsu ramen. The steamed buns were really good and the pork was seasoned nicely. We had the beef steamed dumplings (served quickly) but were too salty without even been dipped in the sauce. Dumplings 4 out of 10. Ordered the signature beef noodle soup & tonkatsu ramen. Server misplaced the beef noodle soup and when it came it was warm, not hot. Took the server almost an hour to bring the soups. Tonkotsu broth was too salty. Soups 2 out of 10. Been here twice since it opened 1st time dined in. Food was good and service was really good my friend who is from China states it reminded him of of his home town. 2nd time ordered using their website and waited the 30 minutes it said. Once I arrived they told me website orders were not coming through. They were very disorganized with the to go orders with food everywhere and people crowded into the small entrance area waiting on food. As I say food is good but don't order using their website or you will wait twice the time as you will have to re order once you get there. read more
