Typically I love Kung Fu Tea, but this specific location is TERRIBLY inconsistent. The last time I went was by far the worst. Two of my friends got winter melon milk green tea. Somehow, one drink was too sweet, and the other was missing ice. I got a green tea with boba, and while the tea was fine, the boba was bland and mushy. We left disappointed and craving good boba. The only thing keeping me from leaving a one star review is the fact that you MIGHT come in on a good day if you're lucky; really, it's a gamble. read more

On our drive home to Austin we decided to stop by to get a boba drink. It was one of the few tea places that stays open late. They were out of a lot that night but the staff was very friendly and made it up to us. We got the Mango Snow with mango jelly and it was one of the smoothies I've had! I've been here a few times and i can say every time has been pleasant! I walked in with a few questions and the employees were able to point me to the perfect drink! The pineapple & mango slush are amazing along with bubbles. If you love smoothie style drinks slush's are the way to go! The atmosphere is very nice, warm feel to it. Love the tea here! My favorite is the Cocoa Wow or the Taro tea. Always consistent, no matter which location you're at, and always friendly employees. My only complaint is that it's a bit expensive. It's $6-$7 for a bubble tea which I think is a bit much. read more

I've been to many boba places. As long as the boba is freshly made. I'm okay. I can't say that I am a boba connoisseur. My go-to drink is to get the Almond Milk Tea or the Black Milk Tea with Boba. The interior is modern and when I went there a couple times the place has been empty. It seems most of the time people take their boba drinks to go. I'm kind of the rare exception where I decide to sit down with my laptop. There are plenty of outlets. One table to sit multiple people in case they want to play board games as I witness a family of four did. Against the wall are tables that sit 4 people with cushions. Finally an authentic Taiwanese bubble tea in Cypress, the drink doesn't take like artificial powdered water and the bubbles are not slimy, some drinks even have real fruits in it, overall very good quality tea and coffee! You can customize the drink's sweetness level and ice level, also can customize different toppings in the drink. One time we had a drink that doesn't taste right and the staff made a new one for us right away for free, we really like the consistency of their drink qualities!! After frequenting this location the past couple weeks, it seems to have the most consistent milk tea and tapioca out of all the Kung Fu Teas I've been to. I'm not extremely picky when it comes to boba but the drinks here are solid enough to satisfy my craving. My go-to drinks are the classic Kung Fu milk tea and the oolong milk tea. While I am a fan of sweet things, their tapioca is super sweet so I usually go for 50% sugar to balance it out. I've had no issues with the staff here so far and since I come during off peak hours my drinks come out pretty quickly. read more

I was introduced to kung fu tea in college. I love the atmosphere, the games, and etc from kung fu tea. I even have the app. Moving back to cypress I was super excited to see a kungfu tea in my neighborhood but I have been disappointed a lot. My favorite drink is the honey milk green tea or the honey green tea and when I tasted it here it was horrible. I even spend over $25 buying family and friends so they could try out my favorite spot and it just got thrown in the trash. It seems like they make the green tea wayyy too strong and it tastes like perfume. I thought maybe it's a one time thing but I've been a few times and it just isn't good. I do like the taro milk tea. But this location needs to let up on the brew. With that being said if there is another kung fu tea around you I'd try that one before coming to this one if you are looking for green tea anything. read more

This place has a very good ambiance. Comfy and very casual to go chill while you catch up with friends, drinking a milk tea with boba. It's has very nice decor and very clean. The menu is very straightforward and you have many options to select from. I tried a honey green milk tea with boba and let me tell you that was life changing.. It was so delicious the only regret I had was not buying another one to take for the road like seriously it was so good.. My sister got a Taro Oreo milk tea slush and omg I tried it too and it was amazingly good.. If you are a sweet tooth go for the Taro Oreo milk tea slush it legit taste like ice cream. This is my first time getting a drink at this location, I've been to Chinatown, Katy and Sugarland locations for so many times, today I got something to do in Cypress so I stopped by. I ordered my drink and the staff didn't even know where the drink was on the menu so I had to tell him that it's on the milk strike section, it's okay because I know it's hard at the beginning (I guess he was just hired recently). I ordered Wow milk and they said they didn't have it, which is weird because it's the most easiest drink to make (I used to work at Kungfu Tea). It was, again, okay so I ordered something else, for me and Wintermelon milk for my bf. Two drinks turned out to be madly sweet that someone who has a sweet tooth like me couldn't even stand it. I thought they mistook the recipe (We added some toppings to it which makes the recipe different) I know this is not how the drinks supposed to taste like, I made them several times before. Kung fu is always a great place to go. This one is a little smaller than the one in bellair but everyone is super nice and it's still a great environment. As always, it's a great place to hang out with friends and get something to drink. They also have a selection of macaroons and candy. Often times I've seen rave reviews for Kung Fu tea and I've tried two location--the one in Bellaire and this one in Cypress. Unfortunately, I would not give this place five star. It's hard enough giving one star. I found the tea to be overly sweet and while you can ask for it to be "not too sweet" its all premix (the lady told me she can reduce the sweet level only to tell me they couldn't once I asked to remake it). I found on both locations the workers to be rude and banging / flinging cups like a toddler with a bad temper tantrum when asked to remake a drink. My advice is to skip this place and head on to other better bubble teas (there are plenty around). read more
