Don't get me wrong...I love KFT drinks. I was so happy to find out this new KFT in Waltham. I buy here almost everyday on my way home after work (even urge my friends to buy) -- but sadly, even after buying almost everyday the staff always don't get my order right! I also noticed sometimes that the taste of my order is not consistent - I buy the same drink everyday but there are times that the taste differs. Another thing I've noticed is that, the staff are lacking good customer service...I was here last weekend afternoon (May 25) and had accidentally dropped my large KFT Drinks because I ordered a lot - but no one from the staff helped or even cleaned up the mess (was hoping if they will offer to replace it since I have been a constant customer but I was just ignored & worst is I even asked them 2X to clean it up as I am worried someone might slipped & get hurt). I wrote this review hoping that management will do something about this so they will not lose their customers. read more

So excited this gem has opened in the neighborhood. So many fun and refreshing options for all types of imbibers including a lot of non-dairy options and different teas. The place was sparkling clean, the service was friendly and fast:) it's really nice to have this place here. I ordered a large Taro Milk tea with less sugar, less ice, and double bubbles; which came out to $6.69. The first thing that was wrong was my taro tea was a beige color when it is usually a soft purple/ lavender color. The second thing that was wrong was that I didn't get double to boba (my friend had more than me and she only got 1 order of boba). When I tried it it tasted completely like sweetened milk no trace of taro. I must say the boba was fresh and chewy and had the perfect texture. But overall bubbles were perfect but the tea was less than mediocre. read more

An unexpected and delightful find in downtown Waltham! We were parking to go eat dinner at a nearby restaurant and I looked across the street and voila! after dinner treat was taken care of. I love their boba. I've never had better boba and it's consistently fresh and good at every Kung Fu Tea location that I've visited - no exceptions, they never have a bad day or bad boba. Always good. The line was very fast here and they had my Oolong honey milk tea done in no time. I also bought some dessert brule from a Boston company that they had for sale next to the register (also delicious - I need to visit that business!). Now I have an excuse to go to Waltham more often. read more

Quality has gone down since they opened. Oftentimes they run out of a lot of ingredients so you have to choose something else. I ordered yesterday and was given barely any herbal jelly. I would recommend Onezo on Main Street for better flavors and drinks they can actually fulfill. read more

Consistently good, parking is easier than the Allston/Chinatown locations and fast service. I find the other KFT locations can be inconsistent with the way the boba is made. This location has been good every time so far, hopefully it stays that way. The red bean Wow Milk is so addictive! Love that KFT and Bon Chon are making Moody St much more hip and giving the area some Asian food cred. read more

A welcome addition to moody street! Went on 3/17, line was out to the door, lots of options to choose from. Both taro and mango slush were delicious... discovered the kids menu after the order, will have to take a closer look next time... the staff kept the line moving smoothly. Never in all my 66 years have I been this disrespected. I ordered ahead of time went in to pick up order there was no other customers in the place I went to where the sign said to pick up order the young man was doing something on his phone then he walked to front of store I assumed he was getting my order so I went to front of store also but he wasn't getting my order he went to machine got a print out and started to fill my order why it wasn't already done ahead of time I guess whatever he was doing on his phone was more important than filling my order so I waited in the front of store for him to finish but when he was done he told me to come to back of store where I originally was to pick up my order I asked why he wouldn't bring it to me he rudely pointed to sign which said pick up orders here so I went to back of store to pick up my order and once again asked why he didn't bring it to me he said he would just cancel order what really so disrespectful I really hope his boss sees this post no wonder why there was nobody in the store there are so many tea stores in Waltham Kumcha Angel tea Onesie. Terrible customer service. We brought our drinks back because they were half-filled with gummies and the staffer rolled her eyes and told us the drink comes with gummies even though it didn't say it on the menu. She seemed genuinely upset that we wanted new drinks. When we went to pick up our drinks, they only made us one because mine had half left (since I removed the gummies). More eye rolls and debates ensued before I finally got a new drink. This isn't the first bad customer service experience issue we've had here and we won't be back. read more

The employees of this location need to be retrained in customer service. I went here during lunchtime on a weekday- I was the only customer in the shop. I looked at the menu for a few minutes and asked the employee working the register if they had any tea similar to Thai Iced tea, to which he just replied "no". I then proceeded to ask him if they had any flavors similar to that, to which he said "no these are different".... okay, so I then asked him if he could recommend a popular drink that people usually order if they are unfamiliar with Kung Fu Tea, to which he replied "the ones with the stars are the most popular ". So I ended up ordering a milk tea which was good but I left feeling completely unimpressed by the lack of manners by the employee, and also not really sure of what I had ordered and if I would even enjoy it. In conclusion, I felt totally rushed even though I was the only customer, and will definitely not be back to this location.
