thai tea salted cream and purple rice milk tea
    Hallie L.

While the interior was super duper cute and we had good service (the girls at the counter were super helpful when deciding what to order), the drinks we got were not that worth it for the price. The drinks came out to around 15 for two mediums and honestly weren't that good. I enjoyed the purple rice taro tea, but the taro flavor was just standard taro flavoring. The thai tea was also a little underwhelming.

Second time having desserts from Peipei's. This time my friend picked up the mochi puddings and the cake jar. The matcha mochi pudding was my favorite with a very strong matcha flavor. Cake jar is a nice sweet and savory treat. I tried their mochi donuts on a different occasion and those were good too. They had Halloween special flavors that were super cute!

This is my favorite dessert place in the area! The mochi donuts are soooo good. They are the perfect amount of pillowy and chewy and sweetness. The flavors are also so fun! I got the zesty lemon donut and the cinnamon sugar and they were both delicious.

They have a good selection of mochi donuts and asian baked goods/snacks here. We got the variety pack of mochi puddings (taro, black sesame, corn, matcha) and a dubai chocolate chewy cookie with strawberry inside, as well as a taro latte. The latte was pretty good, I've only tried the taro and corn mochi puddings but they were decent but maybe a little too bland (definitely not too sweet, maybe not sweet enough). I wanted to try just one mochi pudding before deciding if we wanted more, but unfortunately they only had the four pack so we were kind of forced to buy all of them. The dubai chocolate chewy cookie was large and the chocolate and pistachio/kadayif went really well with the strawberry inside. I really liked it, though it was kind of pricey. The texture and flavors were perfect, with the soft marshmallow layer enveloping the crunchy interior.

From the outside it looks small but they have a lot of variety of delicious pastries. First time coming and the staff was very friendly and patient. The staff showed me all the different types of items they had and pointed out some of her favorites. I got the Dubai style mochi and it was delicious. Not over sweet like some others.

That's a great spot I discovered in my neighborhood :) I live in Waltham so I go here pretty often. Their desserts are always fresh, not too sweet, but still taste so good. Staff is very friendly too. Definitely recommend giving it a try if you're in the area!

Owners were very attentive and the dubai chocolate are to die for. Recommend ordering online cause they sell out fast.

We tried Peipei several times and every time we were delighted by the food! I strong recommend the Mochi puddings with three flavors(taro, matcha, soy milk), It's chewy and good for sharing between friends. The Dubai series are great and I can taste the crispy inside! Very cute and worth a try bakery!

The menu says fresh, healthy, etc. etc. the only thing fresh about that bagel was the avocado and maybe the egg. Pretty sure it was Oscar Meyer "bacon" or some other form of microwavable bacon (which isn't really bacon ). Which is totally unacceptable in this day and age. And the sweet sauce they put on it was horrendous. My stomach hurt the entire day. If you're not going to use quality bagels and quality bacon, you should not be charging almost $13 a sandwich. your menu should also list the ingredients line by line. I asked the cashier what was on this and he did not mention a disgusting sweet sauce. It's no wonder there's a line out the door for the café down the street and two people inside this café. Although I did not get anything else, but that sandwich, I will not be returning based on that alone. You should be ashamed for even serving that.

Everything I've tried here has been tasty. They have limited seating so I've seen it completely full if someone brings a larger group through the doorway. They have a bathroom that is keypad locked so if you've made a purchase just ask them for the #. The Hokkaido Toast sandwich was light and airy. The signature cream does make it on the sweeter side. It paired so well with the rose matcha latte which I've ordered twice now. The pastries and cakes look so tempting too in the display panels. I don't typically drink coffee but if I ever get there early enough I'll try the Crème Brûlée, Vienna Pistachio, or their signature latte. As a tea lover they also have some additional retail items for you to browse for tea steeping and gift sets. The only downside and maybe that's what makes it not as crazy busy on weekends as Tatte is that I want even more options. You can also order whole cakes too if one slice isn't enough. When it gets warmer I will try some of their smoothies and chilled drinks over ice!

Marble tables with mismatched chairs and beat up old leather sofas. Chandeliers that have to harken back to much older tenants in this space. The food is good, I had a ham egg and cheese on croissant and it was wonderful. The croissant was surprisingly fresh. The cappuccino was rounded and smooth and didn't taste at all burnt. Service was ok. Polite but not engaging, my cappuccino was forgotten entirely and I had to ask for it again but it was then made promptly. Regulars that came in behind me had a completely different experience. Service was bright and engaging for them. Again, there was nothing BAD about my service, it was just milquetoast and the baristas seemed disinterested. This is definitely a place where people come and linger and there were folks sprawled about the sofas and typing away at the tables. If I lived in Waltham, I's probably make it a staple in my routine. But I did not linger long, I ate my sandwich, sipped half my coffee and took the rest on my way. I have a feeling this is the kind of place that just grows on you overtime, that said, if you need a coffee or tea and a snack on your way, this may be worth a stop.

The iced coffee and cold brew is also amazing AND they have decaf cold brew The espresso beverages are amazing - cortado, cappuccino, latte.. yum. All of which can also be decaf or half caf.
