The tea was terrible. went here in March 2026, was greeted by a younger kid very friendly service. i asked if the wintermelon drink has lemon in it as that's how it is usually made, he said "no, but i can add some lemon into it!!" ... that should have been my clue to leave. but i was grumpy and thirsty and said uh ok sure! big mistake,, my drink tasted of: 20% wintermelon, 70% lemon juice, and 10% cantelope???? it was obvious he reused an old cup that was used to prepare a cantelope flavored drink in it. truly terrible- i may be spoiled by boba places in bay area CA but this was the first time i couldn't finish my drink. i hate wasting food-- but my wife couldn't bear to see my grimacing twisting angry stank face with each sip of my drink so she ripped the cup from my hand and threw it away for me. read more

Stopped by Kung Fu Tea and ordered the mango snow slushie. Super refreshing and hit the spot. Staff was friendly and the drink came out quick. Our cashier/hostess was kind and helpful this afternoon. SO many choices of drinks are available here. Fortunately for my indecisive self there is a flyer with some of their fan favorites. i would go over their menu online before your visit, so you have an idea of what you want. I decided to try their Sesame Matcha Milk with boba and a milk cap or foam. There were some black sesame seeds as well. Once shaken up this drink is quite decadent to me. If I get this again, I'd like to try it without the milk cap and boba to get an idea of the original flavor. I could taste the sesame throughout the drink, but the matcha was lost within all the ingredients. Nonetheless I enjoyed it and wouldn't mind trying more items on the menu. Such a cute tea shop! They have so many options and flavors! The server was very sweet and helpful. The place was very clean. I wish I would have remembered to get a picture because this was maybe the worst Thai tea I've ever had. I swear it may have been just a cup of milk lol. It was completely cream colored, there was no separation of colors, no orange or brown at all just white and looking at some previous pictures, it looks like that's not how the Thai tea normally looks. The boba was also not sweet at all? The guy working was pretty focused on sitting on his phone the whole time so I'm guessing he just wanted to get us out as quick as possible and didn't care to make things correctly. read more

The owner of our favorite Thai restaurant in Millcreek also owns this Kung Fu Tea. She invited us to visit and then gave my daughter a tour of the back and showed her how they seal the drinks. She also taught us how to say "thank you" in Thai. The drinks were all delicious and all the people working were super patient and welcoming. They took the time to explain the different kinds of drinks and options to us. We'll definitely come back again and try some other flavors. My 8 year old says "the drinks are yummy!" Located in the strip mall off of 9000 S. Plenty of parking. We did ask the young man with help ordering as we were unfamiliar with their menu and he didn't have much help to give. Delicious. I got the matcha milk tea with red bean and milk cap. The milk cap is my favorite part because it's salty. I've also tried it on the honey green and it's fantastic, such a nice contrast to the sweetness of the milk tea. Plus all their milk teas are made with lactaid so no tummy issues for the lactose intolerant folks! It's hidden in a little strip mall so it's nice and out of the way. Worth the money in my opinion. Not something I can get all the time but it's a fantastic treat and great alternative to a dessert. read more

Wouldn't come here again. I always thought Kung Fu Tea kept to high quality and consistency, but for our drinks, the milk tea was very watered down and the boba was inconsistent. Some were soft, some were still hard! Never had hard boba before until today. My husband ordered a large and got a medium instead. A lot of things went wrong and weren't to our expectations. Stumbled upon this new gem that I didn't know was out here in West Jordan yesterday. I was feeling like a well done classic black milk tea boba and saw this place. I have been skeptical with regular boba these days given the new addition of Xing Fu Tang but as much as Xing Fu Tang is great and all, I have to say I don't feel like super sweet and decked out boba that I can't customize everytime I want a boba and I don't really want a giant sugar rush everytime. Sometimes I just want some of the classics and I still want them to be good. My mom and I have been trying different boba shops as I'm just getting her into boba so she's been providing her opinion as well as a newbie. We had Xing Fu Tang on Monday this week and then Kung Fu Tea yesterday, we both agreed Kung Fu was much preferred and both liked the consistency and taste of our drinks better at Kung Fu. The tea was perfect, fresh and refreshing and the pearls were cooked perfectly which I am most critical of at boba shops. They were perfectly al dente, I got both drinks at 30% sugar with regular ice and both were very well done. My other drink yesterday was the matcha with cheese foam on top which was a new thing for me (have never tried cheese foam). The 30% was perfect for both and it was exactly what hit the spot for me yesterday. I will most definitely be back to Kung Fu. If you're in the South Jordan/West Jordan area, I think this place takes top spot for boba compared to Ding Tea on 10600 S and Redwood or Taylorsville. They used to be my fave but quality at Ding has declined recently- if you're looking for classic very well done boba with a huge variety, I was surprised and impressed with this place and it will definitely be my local go to out West in the area assuming they maintain the quality I got yesterday and it remains as good as it is. The sad thing about a lot of boba places is that they often start out great and then decline in quality over time and the taste comes through when it's not fresh and when they start skimping on quality. I'll drive a little further to 9000 s for Kung Fu Tea because it's definitely the best so far that I've found out here- worth checking out for sure if you're in search of boba places on 9000 S. read more

Visited for the first time today 7/2/24 with my friend since I had heard good things from this place. I clearly ordered a large drink. Regular sweetness. What they gave me was a medium. When I went back to the counter, the servers INSISTED I had ordered a medium drink. My friend also said she heard me order a large drink. The servers said I hard ordered a medium drink with regular sweetness and that I had gotten confused. They gaslit me. They said they double checked the transaction on their register/iPad etc. Half-way in the drive home, I noticed the labels on my drink and my friend's drink. They both said size LARGE. So basically, I paid for a LARGE drink and received a MEDIUM. I was very disappointed and let down. My friend's drink was size large and clearly the large size. I've added a photo of the comparison with the same labels. I get that you didn't want to remake my drink but that's my extra money I paid, for less product. :( I don't appreciate the gaslighting and lying from the servers. The boba drink itself was very yummy which is why I'm giving two stars. But the service and honesty can be improved. I do not recommend. Also, they use bot reviews to get their own ratings up. When I posted my review on google, there was a spam of bot reviews hours after so that their rating wouldn't go down. Beware of this dishonest business. read more

We stopped by thinking that they may have some great medicinal teas to help with some of the flu and sickness stuff that is simply going around, and we were surprised to find that their selection was more so in the flavored teas, and not really pushing or promoting too much of the other type of keys that we have come to appreciate. This may be based on potential overreach from medical institutions, where they are unable to state or claim, or portray that a teacher could, or possibly might help with a particular element, However, it was based on this fact, and the fact that it was more simply very sweet, tasting, and very interesting tease that I would give it three stars. read more
