Taro "boba tea" Wasted $5 No flavor. Tapioca tastes like it's been sitting out.

If you're hungry & looking for something to fill you up this place is "okay." Ordered lo mein noodles with bourbon and orange chicken. Wanted some veggies but was told a separate container was $5.99, then if she were to put it in the container it would cost $1 extra although there was hardly any room left in the container. Taste wasn't great, it wasn't nasty but it wasn't a wow factor either. The food had enough flavor to where you'll eat it but I've had much better. Chicken was dry, and tough as if it's been cooked too long. I also ordered boba tea, I ordered a taro slushy boba tea. The taste was milky, the flavor ratio between milk and taro was 80/20, and the tapioca balls weren't firm. They tasted as if they've been sitting and boiling too long. The tapioca balls were pretty mushy. Not worth my$4.99, I should have went to Jamba Juice around the corner instead.

Located in the Norfolk Outlets... it's tucked away back in the food court bldg. I ordered a simple fried rice plate with orange chicken for $6.99. A bottle of generic water was $1.99 The food looked good from on the other side of the counter. Some of the other foods that people weren't ordering tend to have that "under the heat lamp" look to it. Once I sat down to eat, there were rice bits throughout that were hard and seemingly undercooked versus being sitting at the bottom of the pot and got over cooked. It was a slight disappointment, yet edible. The chicken definitely could have been fresher. I guess they kept adding fresh meat to the old meat and kept stirring it all together because I did have some really good pieces of meat mixed in. I would probably try them again because they food court didn't have many food options. I'll give 3 stars at best and that's pushing it.

Ordered a boba tea and upon purchasing was told that there are no returns on that item. Thought to myself thats sorta strange but ok. Well I ended up finding out why people return that item. Every sip from the tea I found hard pieces of plastic. I went back and the manager just said she would make me another. No concern what so ever. Considering I'm pregnant and have no idea what the plastic was I did not want the food I purchased either and just wanted my money back. Please be aware that they know something is wrong with their product and yet they are still selling it. Not a place I will ever be returning.

Nastiest boba tea ever. Low quality. The boba is evidently old and not even the drink tastes good. Bad customer service

That was reassuring, busy is usual a good sign that the food is good. The location is great, close to the beach. The food was nicely packaged in sturdy containers and not styrofoam! We ordered orange chicken and broccoli beef. Both were tasty and fresh! Highly recommend this place if you're in the area.

It is one of those things where one place might have great fried rice, one has great egg rolls, and another has great lo mein. Overall the food was good as I went with the General Tsos combo that comes with regular fried rice but for a small upcharge if you want to change the rice to pork or shrimp. To me it is still unusual as I thought ham fried rice was just a normal thing that comes with a dinner combo along with an egg roll. Not anymore. I ordered an eggroll (2 per order) to go with the meal along with a teriyaki stick. The teriyaki stick (you get 2 per order) was pretty good and not dried out to the point where it could pass for jerky. The chicken in the dinner was good and not overly breaded. It was supposedly spicy but trust me anyone could handle this spice. Good spot to quench your hankering for some American Chinese food. Parking can be a bit iffy with a few spaces in the front on the street shared with other restaurants but the same holds true for the spaces behind the building.
