Traditional Mango Kulfi & Kesar Pista Kulfi ($5.45 each)
    Courtney L.

This is easily one of the most unique ice cream shops I've visited. They offer many traditional Indian-inspired flavors in addition to classic ones, and I was all for trying something new. As the two of us browsed the selection, we asked if we could sample, but the employee behind the counter stated they don't allow sampling. While he was nice about it, this was so unexpected, given that many customers wouldn't necessarily be familiar with the more ethnic flavors (like Chikoo or Rajbhog, for example). Nevertheless, I had my mind set on the Kulfi ($5.45 each), which comes in semi-circle slices that are cut into cubes right before serving. + TRADITIONAL MANGO KULFI: When I first tasted this, I detected a bit of nuttiness before the actual mango flavor revealed itself. Rather than being vibrant and fruity like one might expect, I'd say the mango is more of an undertone. + KESAR PISTA KULFI: This one had pretty strong notes of cardamom, combined with the mild nuttiness of pistachio and what I'm assuming was a touch of saffron. Both were extremely creamy, rich and the perfect sweetness. Needless to say, I thoroughly enjoyed them, especially the Kesar Pista for its novelty factor. Given the Kulfi is denser than your typical ice cream, it actually had a slight chew and was slow to melt, so one can savor the flavor without feeling rushed to eat it. This type of ice cream is not an easy find, so I definitely recommend it if you're feeling a bit adventurous. I'd just suggest doing some upfront research on the various flavors before arriving since sampling is not an option. 4.25 stars.

Always serving up yummy exotic flavors. The lychee has chunks of the fruit in it which is quite delightful. Gals there are nice. Inside isn't the cutest but gets the job done.

An Indian ice cream parlour with unique flavours such as rose water, kesar, apple custard (sitaphal), and so many more!! I have only had these flavours in India so it was really nice to have it in Seattle. I got their guvava ice cream with masala on top, I was a bit skeptical at first because you're putting spices on your ice cream but I'm glad I decided to go for it. I don't know how, but the sweet and tangy flavours really went together. It also came with a few slices of mango. It kind of reminded me of the fresh guvavas you get on the street of India with the spices. I also got their rose ice cream falooda, YUMM! It had been awhile since I had eaten falooda so this was a good treat. Their rose ice cream was delicious according to me!! My friend also got cassata, which is super popular in India. It's essentially 4 flavours of ice cream in one slice, this particular one had guvava, rose, pistachio, and vanilla flavours. Loved it!

My adventurous friend and I stumbled upon this place after grabbing hot pot across the street at Happy Lamb. We expected just basic vanilla, mint chocolate chip, etc., but were pleasantly surprised that they offered a large selection of traditional Indian ice cream flavors as well. I'm familiar with rose water, coconut, and lychee ice cream, but many of the other flavors like Malai Kulfi, Mava Kulfi, Rajhbog, Chikoo, and Paan Masala I had no idea what they were. I texted my Indian friend and he was able to inform me of some of the flavors. The rest I had to Google. Thankfully, they allow you to sample as many flavors as you want and so I tried at least four flavors before deciding. I ended up getting a single scoop of the Thandai (which is apparently a traditional, nutty Indian drink) (~$5). My friend got a single scoop of the Paan Masala. Both were very creamy and flavorful and I liked the light but nutty flavor of the Thandai. The Paan Masala was definitely interesting; apparently the flavor is from a leaf that is commonly chewed like tobacco. It had a lot of colors (think birthday cake) and texture to it from candied fennel seeds and other chopped up gummy candies. My friend, who has never had fennel seeds before, described it as tasting like nerds candy and gummy worms. Prices are pretty high for a small scoop of ice cream, but you can get a pint for just under $11, which is comparable to Molly Moons and other Seattle ice cream chains. They also serve milkshakes and other traditional drinks. The ambiance is kind of like a Baskin & Robins. Definitely nothing fancy. Half of the shop is taken up by the large ice cream counter and the other half has about four tables for seating. Overall: 4/5 for ice cream, 4/5 for service, 3/5 for ambiance

We were in the area and wanted dessert so we stopped here to grab some ice cream. This is not the typical ice cream, it's indian inspired flavors. We end up getting a cassata cake which is 3 layers of ice cream on top of a cake layer. The 3 layers (pistachio, tutti frutti, and vanilla) are pretty good and distinct. The cake though is dry. If it's more moist, it would have been delicious. We also got the paan masala ice cream. This was soo interesting. There was herb, spices, nuts, etc. My husband like this a lot because it's closer to savory flavor than sweet. I like it cause of the complex texture. Price for 1 scoop is reasonable and the cake as well. My critique is that it's not gear toward non-indian customers as there was no descriptions of any of the items making it very hard to decide what you want. Overall, the dessert is yummy and I would come back

I'm definitely a bigger fan of this place than the original inhabitant of the store (BR31)! The traditional Indian flavors are always refreshing and never get old because you can't get them anywhere else. The interior is very straightforward without many bits or baubles, and perhaps the amount of seating could be improved. But, it's consistent, and always has lots of options to buy in pints from their freezers as well. Really like their Pista (pistachio likeness?) and Mango flavors (pictured) and stop by often when I'm in Crossroads.

Indian flavor ice creams in Bellevue--wow! They have a lot of flavors, including casata, falooda, and kulfi, along with regular Indian flavors. The seating is limited, but the staff is good and the flavors are amazing.

We stopped by here for the Badshahi falooda drink and it was sooo delicious! Worth the drive in the cold weather.

Passing by after eating a heavy lunch. Checked the place out on yelp and came to know its India's "Kwality Walls" ice cream. The place has its own parking lot. Many Indian and regular western ice cream flavours. We ordered their:- Rose ice cream- It was nice and creamy. Might be too sweet for some Palate. Butterscotch ice cream- It was ok ok. Was expecting those crunchy butterscotch bits, but found none. Paan Masala ice cream- It was an refreshing tasting ice cream. Chikoo (Sapota)- It was ok ok. Overall, will be back to try other flavors.

First visit, lots and lots of great options plesent nice place would recomend. Ps. For whatever reason's, good or bad, who knows your guess is better than mine, this place as an interpretation doesn't currently do the whole sample spoon thing.

Kwality Ice cream brings back memories from the 90s back home. All the flavors are classic ! I tried the Paan Masala and the Kulfi Falooda. I really liked the Kulfi Falooda but Paan Masala was very sweet. I think if it was a lot less sugary, it would have been my favorite. I checked with them about which flavor was the least sweet and they said that coconut seemed to be the sweetest so I would definitely avoid that one. On my next visit I might try their Anjeer walnut and Chikoo. I got to try three of their flavors before proceeding to buy them. I loved the Rose and Thandai flavor too but again, could have been less sweet. They are open all 7 days atleast until 10 pm with the exception of Friday and Saturday when they are open until 11 pm. Price point could have been better but I do appreciate the variety of available options.

This ice cream spot reminded me of my time in India, especially with options like falooda, cassata cake, paan masala, kesar pista, etc . Definitely worth checking out if you're craving these Indian ice cream flavors

Since sampling isn't allowed, I ended up paying ~$6 and picking a flavor that I didn't like. I regret not going to Molly Moon's or Salt and Straw.

Much of the hot soups just had waaaaay too much stuff in them. But adding the red bean soup by itself without all the foo foo stuff maybe 2 years ago was very welcome, albeit it's buried deep in the menu to find. This was very welcome to see and their red bean soup was noteworthy for repeat visits. However, in the last 2 visits, not sure if they changed something in the recipe, the red bean soup is now TOP TIER. Top Tier for USA that is, and well, that's where we are right now. It's DELISH, pick 2 sides, so far always peanuts, and either almond pudding or black sesame ball have been just smile oozing good. So good it's almost always on our minds after a dinner somewhere that we have to stop in at the Bellevue Meet Fresh right after to finish the night. It's so gooooood! If you don't like any tartness from the fresh fruits, I'd recommend ordering the brown sugar shave ice instead!! When we arrived, there was a line out the door, which is always a good sign when you're craving ice cream. The shop itself is super cute and smells absolutely divine. Even with the crowd, the line moved quickly thanks to the friendly, efficient staff who really know what they're doing. They offer a great variety of flavors, including fun seasonal options. I first tried the carrot cake, but it had a bit more cinnamon than I personally like. Then I asked about the cookie dough, and the staff member thoughtfully checked if I'd had it before since it also leans heavy on cinnamon--they even offered me a taste, which I really appreciated! It wasn't quite what I was looking for, but their honesty and helpfulness made a big impression. I ended up going with a scoop of melted chocolate on a waffle cone, and WOW--it was absolutely divine. 10/10, no notes. My wife got the seasonal Yeti flavor and loved it too. There is no place to sit but some spots to stand in front of a counter like table. I ordered the Ube + Matcha swirl ice cream with upside down taiyaki with sesame filling. This is one order but I want to rate them separately since it's such a difference in taste experience. Taiyaki + Sesame filling (5/5) Fantastic light crunch and amazing sesame flavor. This was a delight to eat and wonderfully fried. It was not too oily and the sesame filling was not overly sweet. I'd come back again and again just to eat this! Ube / Matcha swirl ice cream (2/5) There was almost no matcha taste at all. In fact, you'd have to close your eyes and try really hard to extract maybe possibly a hint of it? The ube faired a bit better but the same lacking in flavor. The ice cream as a whole tasted a bit too sweet and artificial and lacked any flavor to it and I believe it's because it's just mostly milk. I inhaled the taiyaki but I only at half of the ice cream. If I'm in the mood for it again, I'll come back and give other flavors a chance. Or if they permit, I'll just order only a sesame taiyaki because it's so good.
