When I picked up the car I noticed a banging sound- which persisted for 24 hours and worsened. Turns out the car had loose engine mounts which caused the engine to sway and cut the A/C line. I do not think the technicians drove the car after the repair. I believe they had a responsibility to report the noise to me. I also believe they had a responsibility to advise me that the car was not road safe due to the loose engine mounts. I exchanged e mails with the manager Derek and he disagreed- he thought the car as road safe. I would not recommend Christian Brothers automotive.

I told them i didnt have money for one hour and didnt want to pay for 30 mins cuz they might not find it within time. So they offer to do it for 46 but that they were out of time and to come back tomorrow. As i was leaving they were closing down and leaving as well. Around four lights away my car completely trun off and wouldnt restart. A cop that came to my aid said that the car had over heated. That night my bf that is a mechanic (which i regret not having the patiance to wait for) check it and said the car didnt have water what so ever. He put two gallons of water and it had no leaks. Which i knew cuz i had just replace it with a brand new one a few weeks ago. he also check the a/c and found that the clutch was infact not working and procceded to find the source which lead him to a broken fuse. he fix it in 30 mins. This people are malicious..they lie about the clutch to try to over charge me and i am still unsure of why they would drain my water and coolant...two possibilities...they were mad cuz i didnt want to spend money or they were inresponsible and neglectful and in a hurry to put back the water in the car which they shoulnt have even touch in the first place. I have reported them to the BBB and news and i am in the process of filing a civil suit. I had an oil change and coolant exchange done about 2 months ago. They ended up putting a different…read moreviscosity oil compared to what the manufacturer recommended. This was done without prior consult - they simply poured it in and mentioned "it is the same viscosity as the one that original manufacturer recommended." Well 5w20 isn't 0w30. I'm sorry. Coolant exchange was way worse. They baited by saying coolant is according to oem manufacturer but ended up being universal coolant which was not recommended by car oem. After about a month, engine thermostat got stuck, had to be replaced and new coolant poured in. There is no transparency at this place- they will simply just want to get you in and out without consideration of damage that their service may cause to your car.
