I got a one tire patched and another one replaced on the back driver side and they ended up cross threading my leg nut onto the stud! When I went to get my TPMS sensor replaced on that exact tire at another shop I was informed that my lug nut on my tire could not be removed due to it being cross threaded. I went back here to tell them that they were the last ones to touch the tire with proof of purchase they refused any responsibility for damaging the stud and asked for me to pay for a replacement. Even if it was an accident the accountability is lacking heavily. DO NOT go here if you want to end up with a bigger headache than you showed up with. No one likes having to replace a tire plus now I have to replace my stud and lug nut myself. read more

I used to go to Princeton Tire for years. They used to be affordable, quick and decent quality of service. Now, it's all about the $$$ for them. Prices are more expensive than Discount Tire or Firestone, they are still quicker but the lack of quality is the norm. I have taken my cars there and the last 5-6 times, its become where they charge $25 per tire for rotation, a plug is $35, when you get new tires put on they don't put of valve caps, pressures aren't matched to the car label on the door, balancing equipment is tired, balancing is too fast and not accurate, when they had to remove the lug locks (because I lost the tip) they didn't even ask or put on a new lug. I was driving for months and realized one lug missing on all wheels on a 5 lug wheel. Dangerous. They also have no posted pricing, so the pricing changes. Hate saying this but certain ethnicities get preferred pricing. Others they get higher than normal pricing. Ill go and wait at Discount Tire, where I kn9ow its done right and you know what you are paying every time. read more

This is the second time that I've used their services and they've been extremely fair in the price and were able to help me out right away. In both cases are use them for a tractor tire replacement which they have a number of stacked in the back. The tires were very inexpensive and were available. Terrible place to go for your tire! I went to get one tire fixed the man there sold me a tire for $45 saying it was a really good tire! I drove home less then 5 miles just to wake up the next morning with the exact tire on flat. Manager did not try and compensate for the inconvenience and told me if I had ran over a nail from the time I left they shop he couldn't replace it. ABSOLUTELY unacceptable!!!! They killed my cars battery they had the Air-conditioning running without the car being started and drained my battery thats 2 years old.. Than the manger compared his new truck that has 2 batterys to my toyota corolla.. My wife was beside me and it barely started. 3 days later the car would not start tool it to autozone to charge it but they said they killed it. Now i have to pay $120 for a new battery that the mechanic killed .Bad service bad mechanics and they dont care about customers. Jonny is a bad Manager. Should be 0 stars... I have used this place a couple times for patching flats. They scratched my rims pretty bad one time with their careless workers and old equipment. Last week they plugged my tire, but it was still leaking so I went back. The manager kept me waiting and kept taking people in before me who arrived after me. I told him I have been waiting and I had been there before the others. He started cussing me out on a sunday morning at 9am and told be to get off his lot. He followed me all the way out to the street while screaming the whole time. The manager seems unstable and very rude. BEWARE!!! read more

I was in downtown Mckinney and ran over a 3" bolt that went straight into my tire. As the air was blowing out, a drove down to Princeton Tire to see if they would jack it up for me and slap on the spare since it was dark. They took a look at the tire and said 'patch it no problem'. They had it off the rim, patched and back on in 15 minutes. This was at 7pm. I asked how much and he said $7. Are you kidding? I gave him a $20 and went on my way. They charged me roughly $25-$30 per unit for slightly worn tires that should have cost closer to $150/each. Oh, and they are open 7 days a week ALL day so you can go when it suits YOUR schedule. I wish I could give them zero stars! After buying two tires the minute we drive off the lot the low pressure light comes on and the next day the tire had slowly leaked all night almost flat barely getting us back there. When we arrived they only offered a free patch and accused us of doing something to the tire. In addition only 3 lug nuts were put back on not 4. When I came in with 4. The guy working became extremely rude slamming the car down cussing and says " I hope you..." And stopped. Hope I what I ask? Then he tells me not to come back and to get off his lot. "Vamanos" To be exact! When the only reason I'm back is because the tire I bought the day before was flat! What??? In addition I got 4 tires for a hundred 6 months ago and this time it was $60 for two. I then questioned the price difference and he called me a liar. So, With his I hope you... Then stopping before he says something incriminating comment makes me wonder if my tire is even safe to drive. I would NOT go here ever purely for safety reasons. Crooks and very vindictive. You really may want to consider a different tire shop to entrust your vehicle with. I purchased two rear tires for my F350 dually the week of the 4th. upon arriving home, I discovered one of my center caps were missing. I IMMEDIATLLY CALLED THE TIRE SHOP and was assured that the cap had been located and set aside for my retrieval. The rest of the story travel's downhill at a very rapid pace from here . . . The following week I make the trip out to retrieve my center cap for my truck. Not only was there no center cap to be found, the associate(s) acted as if he had a problem assisting me with my request. At first he acted as if his memory of my visit was unsure. And finally he acknowledged my purchase but now there was no center cap to be found anywhere! When asked for a solution he constantly continued to walk off, ignoring my questions attending to other chores. In time after about 30 minutes of frustration I left. Of course I will NEVER TRUST THESE PEOPLE AGAIN! My caution to you is to if you do choose to use these people . . . do so at your OWN RISK! And be sure and WATCH everything they touch to assure proper replacement. Prior to leaving another guy that was waiting to be assisted said that he had a similar experience with custom wheel covers for his truck. The little extra paid to Firestone, Discount, or even Walmart would have been worth it. This is advice you do well to head! read more

Horrible!!! Bought 4 tires and they bent one of my rims during the removal process. They did not inform me about it until after mounting the new tires. When I informed them that the rims have never been off of the vehicle they refused to accept responsibility for what was obviously an accident made by one of there employees and got very defensive. Arguing that I must have been damaged the rim somewhere else and brought it to them to blame them. The only problem with there argument is the vehicle only had 20k miles and I have never had the tires/rims off of the vehicle. Furthermore the damage to the rim was a gash now notched into the rim could only be made by a machine as opposed to obvious scratches and bending of metal when it strikes an object. Needless to say, I will not be returning and would strongly discourage anyone else from doing business with these dishonest people. read more

I came here to get new tires and ordered new tires but they gave me tires that lasted only two weeks. I came back here asking for a refund but they wouldn't even do that. They told me to either get new ones or get of the property. I asked to talk to the boss and the boss wouldn't even come to me. The manager then got a very bad attitude saying he won't change it unless I pay full price. Those tires were very dangerous. If I hadn't noticed I would probably end up hurt or worse. Highly recommended. I bought tires from NTB and spent like $700 for all 4 tires. One of the tires had a screw in it, so I go back to NTB thinking they will take care of it for a small cost. The clerk there asks me which tire and he goes outside and gets he measurements of the tire and comes back inside and tells me it's 179.99 plus tax. I respond " for what?, I just need it patched up" he said you need a new tire. I called him out and said "Yoy didn't even check the tire, all you did was get the measurements to sell me another one" so he goes outside and looks at the tire and comes back in and says I still need to replace it and they can't patch up. I told him to put some air in it and I left. I came to Princeton tire and for $5 they patched it up and that tire has lasted me almost 2 years. So I have referred plenty of people and they are happy with the cost. No, they don't have a waiting area or Tv to keep your entertained but that's how cost is kept low.!!!! read more

Do not use them!!! I originally went to get new tires, for my wife's car to be mounted and balanced. At that time, they did a good job. However, she told me and I noticed as well that the vehicle would shake. I took it back to the shop to see if they can balance the tires. First off all one of the jacks that they were using nearly damaged my car. It was about to slip off and drag against my passenger door. One of the other workers noticed it and told his coworker to stop while they got another jack. Close call. They balanced all the tires on my wife's car, I asked them why did all the tires need to be balanced should they not have been balanced when the tires were purchased originally? He stated if one tire was unbalanced it would make my car shake. ...What... He did not answer my question, he just told me what I already know... I went ahead and payed them so that I can be with my family instead of discussing the issue. I would say they are careless with customers vehicles and will not own up to when they make mistakes.
