I've been taking my cars to Waterfalls for oil changes and all types of mechanic work for years. Their location is convenient for me, but most of all, I trust them. Their prices are reasonable and they don't try to upsell services I don't really need. In fact, many times they've told me I don't need something, or have taken care of small items without charging me. I've had many conversations with other women in the oil change waiting room who say they really appreciate feeling respected here. Negligent response by management to damage done to my car ------ My front left and back left wheels were damaged and scratched badly while I was being directed by their staff to enter the wash. Specifically by the railing. Unfortunately the staff was not willing to help when I let them know of the damage. According to their policy, the business is not responsible for exterior damage. Paid 8 dollars for an automatic car wash only to find out that it doesn't even work when I pulled in. The automatic car wash is out of service but they will still allow the machines to take your money and there are no signs or cones blocking it to let people know that it's out of order. Vacuums here are extremely low in pressure like everything single one. Apparently this place has no ownership anymore but somehow is still taking people's money. This place needs to be SHUT DOWN IMMEDIATELY. I will never come back here again. read more

My car's motor was knocking pretty hard. It felt like it was the transmission was trying to go out. I initially thought the poor performance was due to a well overdue factory scheduled maintenance that my car needed. In October, I had 2 factory recall issues repaired on my vehicle at Bob Tomes Ford, and in their diagnostic report, it stated that I needed the FSM and a decarbonization service done to my vehicle. When I took my vehicle to Waterfall with my dealership diagnostic report in tow, they stated that they were a family owned company and performed their own diagnostic testing because they had experiences with other dealerships and shops and found that from their experiences with their customers that more than a few were just billing their customers for nonexistent repair issues. I was dreading a call from them of their findings by way my car drove, that I would need to spend thousands of dollars to repair or replace my transmission. I left my vehicle there and got a call from Waterfall that my car was showed several codes with issues on my car. In fact, I had several wires in my motor loose. Either by road vibrations or by rodents getting into the vehicle. This made sense because in the Fall, when I had to have an oxygen sensor replaced for smog testing, the technician found chicken bones in my motor from rodents that had camped out in there on a few occasions. My final bill with Waterfall was $80. for the diagnostic test, a road test, and replacing the wires that were lose; and they threw in a free vacuum and car wash with it to boot!! Mind you... this was my VERY FIRST TIME EVER going to Waterfall in my entire life!!! (My October 2018, estimate for services at Bob Tomes Ford was $2,426.39 for services listed in their Recommended Services Inspection Recommendation Report post factory recall repair). So this was not just service for a family member, friend of the family, or customer loyalty to a lifelong customer that had been going there for decades. I am over the moon with them!!! They are honest in a world where over and over again in the news you see such horrible examples of corruption, unethical behavior, business practices, and inhumanity in the world where it is unfortunately expected. These guys are AMAZING!!! I highly recommend any and everyone in Collin County and surrounding areas to give them a try. You will not be disappointed! STAY FAR AWAY FROM WATERFALLS My vehicle has a damaged motor and is undriveable due to Waterfalls negligence. They put the wrong oil in my truck despite manufacturers specifications on record and being displayed on oil cap. When we reported directly to the lube shop they said they could "get engine light off" and put a oil supplement in. (Charging me again for the patchwork). The mechanic said he didn't want to remove oil because he didn't want to get hot oil on him. (?) I never gave permission to use a different type of oil, period. This would never have happened with prior owners. This new company is great with making excuses and pointing blame at the manufacturer, despite manufacturers specifications and correct type of oil on record. They ruined my truck being lazy and Willy nilly with a simple oil change. The way I was treated just added insult to injury. I've been a customer for ten years with my fleet, friends and family. Never again. DO NOT use their services since new ownership, there has been a PATTERN of vehicles being damaged at car wash and the lube shop with absolutely no resolve other than "take a survey" (?) I am now stuck as a single mother and nurse of mentally challenged adults without my vehicle. I need my vehicle to go to work and to their appointments. God sees you. I took my car in for a tune up after getting the diagnostic information from Autozone. I had attempted to replace the ignition coil and spark plug myself after viewing some videos online but found I didn't have the right tools and didn't want to risk any damage. I had previously had both of my vehicles serviced at Waterfalls e.g. oil changes, state inspections, minor repairs and trusted them for this repair work. Estimates online varied between $275 and $316; $96-$121 for labor and $179-$195 for parts. They ran the diagnostic and utilized the ignition coil I had already replaced to fix the correct misfiring cylinder. Total cost was roughly $95, bottom end of estimated labor only from research. I was pleasantly surprised and thankful for quick repair and honest and more than fair pricing. I was already a return customer but this is the kind of experience which led me to write a review and give them a well earned five stars. It's the type of experience that will ensure I'm a return customer for any future repairs and also why I would suggest this repair shop to others.
