DON'T TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!!! I took my car to a Kwik Kar for an OIL CHANGE in OCTOBER and one repair lead to another which lead to ANOTHER and then ANOTHER! $700+ and almost FOUR MONTHS LATER, today is going to be the 8TH TIME getting my car fixed. THEY'LL SMILE IN YOUR FACE AS THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY AND WISH YOU ON YOUR WAY ASSURING YOU THAT YOUR CAR IS OKAY AND IT'S NOT!! October 22nd Bought a Groupon Oil a change at Kwik Kar $35 (We lost our gas cap so some lights on the dashboard were on so Colton (the assistant manager) suggested a new gas cap and an engine flush) October 24th $67 for engine flush Bought a gas cap $50 (Had the same problem but Syd (mechanic) and Colton reassured me that the car is fine) November 20th Took the car BACK AGAIN. Spent 2 hours in the shop, for them to say everything was okay with the car November 26th Spark plugs and other shit $600+ Lights were still on but they said it's fixed and will be okay December 17th My husband texted the mechanic (Syd) saying car isn't acting right and he said bring it in Brought it at 5 pm right before they closed, they said come back tomorrow morning. Went back next day, and Syd called off from work December 21st Called Syd and Colton, no answer Stopped by & got the store manager's number (TJ) Told us he'll escalate to his boss and will let us know in a few days December 23rd Called TJ, No answer Saturday December 24th Called TJ again and we let him know we understand it's a holiday so we'll follow up in a few days December 27th Called again, didn't answer first time Answered 2nd time, didn't have any update. He said it was out of his hands December 31st We called asking for his bosses number because we want to speak to them directly, he let us know he'll give us his bosses number (never did) January 4th Had to stop by the store to get the boss of the Kwik Kar's number and reached out to him. He told us this was the FIRST time hearing about this January 5th Told us to take our car to a DIFFERENT KWIK KAR location. They checked the transmission oil, came out brown so they said they'll empty it, drive it around them refill it. LEFT with the SAME PROBLEM I came in with in OCTOBER! January 11th Dropped my car off at the dealership because not even Kwik Kar knew what was wrong with it My husband wasn't able to make it to work again, so they fired him January 12th Dealership said $7,000 to fix and reverse whatever the hell is wrong with the car...... Kwik Kar said they'd take care of it and will give us a loaner car in the meantime January 16th Got the loaner car and the tire sign was on. I told their boss and he said as long as it isn't driving weird, just put air into the tire February 11th Tire popped when we were a half hour away from our home. We were left stranded in a bad neighborhood and busy intersection at 11 pm until 2 am because of the very thing I was told not to worry about February 13th Missed our first day of work and was now told the car is in Frisco AN HOUR AWAY. Without the rental car, how the hell am I going to get there? By flying?!? We spent the rest of our money getting THEIR LOANER CAR TOWED!!! This entire process has been the most STRESSFUL, TEDIOUS, AND ARDUOUS experience I've ever endured. DON'T, for the sake of your sanity and money, EVER TAKE YOUR CAR TO ANY KWIK KAR!!! Austin is FANTASTIC!! I brought my truck back to him (previously in for oil change and inspection,) to check out an overheating issue. It took a little while for the issue to be diagnosed, but Austin kept in contact with me, letting me know they were working on it. After they discovered that it was a water pump malfunction, he gave me my estimate and had Cody take me home so I didn't have to wait at the shop. Cody was very nice, too. John changed out my water pump and when I arrived back at the shop, he was cleaning my engine. I was thoroughly impressed with these guys, all the way around. My husband was happy that they treated me with respect and not just like a dumb girl. These guys work hard in the heat, all day! If you go, keep that in mind. This place and its people continue to impress me every time I seek service there. This time around, my mother-in-law's van wouldn't start without a jump and I assumed it would need a new battery as well as an alternator check. So I ran it over to Kwik Kar for a battery, alternator and voltage regulator test, fully anticipating that I'd at least need to replace the battery. I even indicated to the attendant that I'd want the best one in stock which was compatible. Less than ten minutes later he was showing me a printed test report which indicated all was working as it should and that I really didn't need to spend money on a replacement battery yet. I visited Kwik Kar for a state inspection. I needed the 3rd, brake light on the back of my truck at the top. Gerry was very patient with helping me order the part for my brake light. He took the part off, took a picture of it to ensure the right part was ordered. The wrong part came in. Gerry called and asked me to bring my vehicle up there so he can take the part off and send it to them to help get the right part. I did, and about an hour later; Gerry called and asked if I could bring my vehicle back cause the part came in. I was very pleased with the service I received. My nephew and I stopped here while waiting for a prescription to be filled at CVS, and I asked them if they could check my tires and see if they could diagnose an ongoing problem with my turn signal...it would quit working sporadically, then start working again for no reason. It had been driving me nuts for over a year. Austin and Preston took my car with no waiting, and by the time my boy and I had talked about walking for a bite to eat they had it fixed. I always stop here for oil changes and other regular maintenance (brakes, fluid flushes, etc.). Today, right after an oil change, my alternator died on my way to grab food and get to class. I called the shop and the manager, Austin, came right out to help me (even though the mechanical failure was my fault and not their). I made it to class and he had it fixed within two hours of getting it back to the shop. First time that I used this location. Fast, efficient, and competent! I was on my way to the Richardson Court and saw Kwik Kar. I had had a good experience at another location, so I stopped here to get my annual inspection. It all went fast and smooth. I have a high mileage (over 300K) vehicle and am a driver for Lyft and Wingz. I decided to go ahead and get the rear differential serviced as it was overdue. Again, all went well. Maintenance repair at a reasonable price, inspection and multiple oil changes have all gone well! Glad to brag about their timely service and estimated time-frames, communication about needs without hard up-sell, plenty of parking, clean restroom and waiting room with fresh coffee and the a/c works great in the summer. I would only ask they keep a closer eye on the desk for someone with questions or concerns, as well as, more communication concerning the status of your vehicle when they're really busy. read more

Made an appointment today to get a state inspection. They were extremely efficient and great at communicating. They had a couple suggestions for some additional maintenance to my car, and I declined without feeling pressured to get the service done. When I asked if they would add on an oil change for me they were happy to do so. I was in and out in all of 25 minutes. A great experience overall! My mother, Denise Dwyer, brought her car to this Kwik Kar on 10/2/24 for a State Inspection. She was impressed with the whole experience. She didn't have to wait. It was done immediately. The staff were nice and friendly. The service was great. Chris did the actual inspection and was very professional. I accidentally ripped up the bottom of my car and I couldn't find a place that was open or had enough mechanics to work on my car. I stopped at Kwik Kar and a polite man named Frankie came out to greet me. He told me what was wrong and how to fix it. He didn't BS me or anything. Very happy with the service here. Lute Riley said I needed several fluid changes and I have very low mileage. Kwik Care said no way and did a strip test to confirm. They also found my dirty cabin filter which I guess when I went to Lute Riley for an oil change, They apparently didn't bother to look at it. \Service was fast. This place is !fucking great! My radiator busted and I had to get the whole assembly replaced minus the trans. Fast forward a few months and i take it to another location for an oil change, but they get me paranoid about a radiator leak. I should've just brought it back here first because they took the time to show me there was no problem and even changed my oil for free for the trouble, amazing service! These guys rock read more
