Such a fun experience! This was my first time trying a hibachi restaurant and we went as a private party in the early afternoon. The gyoza was nothing special and I wish they were a little crispier. The sushi was good! Rolled well, good shape. The fish did taste a little too fishy though. Highly recommend this place! You're able to either sit in the dining area or the hibachi area. The dining area has lots of nice decor! We went on Sushi Monday and we were really happy with the quality and prices of the discounted fish. The Spicy Salmon Roll wasn't very spicy unfortunately so if you're looking for spice, look elsewhere. The staff was very kind and transparent! There was a typo on the menu and she clarified that it was a mistake in a very nice way. I forgot to take a picture because the meal was so delicious, but the portion sizes for the noodle dishes are AMAZING. I had TWO boxes of leftover for my vegetable Yakisoba. I came here with my family and we had a really good time. We walked in and were seated within about 10 minutes which was really nice. The vibe of the restaurant is good but pretty normal. We did come here on NYE and probably the first weekend they were open. The service was awful and the food was good. The chef was fun and had a great personality. We had a reservation for 6:30 and we were sat 15 minutes late, no big deal, they were busy. The server took the drink orders right when we sat down (didn't even have time to look at the drink menu) and then 30 minutes later the drinks still hadn't showed up. The family next to us asked when the drinks would arrive and they said soon. The soup and salads arrived and still no drinks. Someone from our party went up to the bar and got the drinks for our party. The soup was a bit bland and the salad dressing was a cream based (not the ginger one that we love). The chef came out and had a great personality and we had a fun time because of him. The dinner was being cooked and the two other parties that were sitting at our table had both gotten up to see where their drinks were (about 7:30 at this time). There was no water refills until the end of the meal and was filled by a young kid (not the server). Also the noodles were spaghetti noodles with sauce on them, definitely not as good as the competition across the parking lot. The rice and veggies were both good. Overall they need to work out some issues with service, the family next to us was offered a discount for poor service but it was not extended to the whole table (who all received the same service). They do have a lot of tables and bigger tables than other hibachi places that we have gone to. With that being said unless you are sitting in the middle, you are farther from the action. But also a warning if you are sitting in the middle beware of the splash zone. I had several splashes of oil/food on my shirt by the time the chef was done, which I was not happy about and hope I can get the oil stain out of my nice shirt. read more

The hibachi chef was entertaining and friendly. The food (steak, lobster and shrimp) was very good and plentiful - so much it was impossible to eat it all but it made for good leftovers! It was a very busy night and we sat at the bar prior to being seated in the dining area. The bartender was slammed so it was quite a while before she took our order. It was a fine experience but I didn't give it 5 stars because I think they still have to work out a few kinks like approaching the diners more frequently to ask if they wanted to refresh their drinks and maybe adding a bartender. My wife and I wanted to try this place out since we love hibachi. We normally go to our favorite, Osaka's, but wanted to give this place a try. Everyone placed their order, but THE WAITRESS DIDNT ASK IF ANYONE HAD ANY ALLERGIES. Sushi came, soup and salad came, then the chef. Couldn't hear this guy because it was so loud in there. As the chef was reviewing everyone's order, he says to the gentleman next to me, "you have shell fish allergy". He stated yes, but it wasn't him that made it known. It was the other gentleman at the other end of the table. Okay no biggie, we all make mistakes. Started the show with a disformed spatula, but luckily he put it away immediately and didn't use it the rest of the dinner. Chef was cooking and platting, everyone is eating. As I watch the chef, I see the difference. I tasted my NY Strip, disgusting. I tasted my chicken, disgusting. Fried rice, noodles, and vegetables were not the best at all. Too much sauces were used when making all of the food along with not cooking my steak long enough as I asked. Moving on to serving the others. The gentleman across from me who had the shellfish allergy. The chef was going around d putting shrimp on everyone's plate and was about to put shrimp on this man's plate when we all caught him and stopped him. There were no shrimp put on the plate, HOWEVER, some juices from cooking the shrimp dripped onto his plate so he couldn't eat it anymore. From here the chef didn't understand and left.
