    The interior calm and peaceful vibes

    The service is warm and friendly. The ambiance is impeccable. I don't think my cortisol levels have been this low in ages. This place is a gem and worth the visit merely for the vibes, but the food is an added bonus. Everything was fresh and delicious. The pickled ginger was the best I've ever had. I will absolutely be a frequent flyer here.

    Pickup order was 40 minutes late. Weird setting in the restaurant. Sushi was solid, nothing to write home about.

    I never leave reviews but I love this place and I really want them to do well! This quaint place on hall rd really is a hidden gem. Service is great and I'm never disappointed with the quality of their sushi. The rice to fish ratio is always great and flavors are amazing. They offer a variety of drinks, snacks, and activities such as small arts and crafts. I'm from the west coast and their food definitely is on par with what's back home. Pic from to go order!

    The environment like family. The waitress and cooker so friendly and fun. The food do have touch carefully with Japanese style not mixed with Chinese or Middle East as I saw everywhere here in Sterling Heights.

    Ordered a pickup order 2 hours early for 6:55pm pick up. Arrived at 7pm and still had to wait 15 minutes. We weren't in a rush this time, but we hope this isn't a common issue. Good value, good taste, good freshness. The rolls were a good size too. Nice little addition to Macomb!

    A new sushi spot that definitely deserves way more attention than I feel like it's currently receiving! I know that they're fully functional, but still standing up things like a tablet ordering system in stores and whatnot, so perhaps that's the reason why it hasn't fully reached the attention of everyone. The interior of this space is so bright and modern, filled with Miyazaki things and just absolute cuteness. The aesthetic reminds me a lot of Goblin in Detroit, although I don't think there is any relation between the two. I love that they have a corner of the store where you can see them growing their own veggies and also carry a few products on their shelves as well. All their appliances (even their water cooler) are Asian brands as well, which I love! It feels like walking into a little sushi shop in Asia, but it's all the way down Hall Road, past Partridge Creek, in Utica instead! The food is SO delicious! What I love in particular about Miyazaki are the options they offer. In addition to rolls and nigiri, they offer different combinations of trays that are so fun and interesting to try! My friends and I got the omakase tray and the salmon showcase tray. The omakase came with 28 pieces of nigiri from ~7-8 different kinds of nigiri. All of them were so good and so fresh, it was all top notch quality and split among 3 people was so perfect! The salmon showcase is for all those who love salmon. There were 7 pieces of nigiri here with all different cuts and ways to prep salmon and I was in heaven! We also ordered the bluefin tuna and scallion roll, as well as the yellowtail and scallion roll. Truly everything was SO good, SO fresh, SUCH quality and even for the rolls you get a generous amount of filling in them. I truly appreciate that and for the price of everything, it was more than worth it. The only thing for me here is the location - it's a bit of a trek for me, but I'll definitely be back soon given how yummy everything was and how much I still want to try on the menu!!

    Fantastic food, I've always tried something new and have never been disappointed. Menu isn't too big or overwhelming; they have free samples of candies and snacks too! Their bottled jasmine green tea is my favorite drink. :) The atmosphere is very relaxing and refreshing, most sushi spots are dark and moody.

    The restaurant is inspired by the visionary world of Hayao Miyazaki with various movie Miyazaki movies displayed on the walls. There is a large wall of plants beautifully displayed when you walk in. The inari and the sushi was delicious. They provide free hot tea and water but they do have a variety of different drinks you can choose from as well.

    If you're looking for great sushi and a cool dining experience, Miyazaki Sushi and Sashimi in Macomb is the perfect place to go. As soon as you walk in, you'll notice the amazing Studio Ghibli theme, which makes the whole place feel cozy and magical. If you're a fan of movies like Spirited Away or My Neighbor Totoro, you'll love all the little details that bring those stories to life. The food was incredible. Everything we ordered tasted super fresh and was presented beautifully. The Tempura Roll was definitely a highlight, and the sashimi was so tender it almost melted in my mouth. The staff was so nice and made sure we had a great time. Whether you've been eating sushi for years or you're trying it for the first time, you'll love this place. Miyazaki Sushi and Sashimi is more than just dinner--it's a fun experience that's worth checking out. I can't recommend it enough!

    Great new sushi spot! Super cute and simplistic set up. We got the Omakase 28 piece nigiri set, the cooked nigiri set, and the fireworks roll. The quality of the sushi is superb. The price for the omakase nigiri 28 piece is unbeatable and great for people to try different nigiris. Fav pieces: their dill cured salmon nigiri is AMAZING!!! I couldn't get enough of it. The seared scallop was delish & tuna pieces were super good. The bf loved their eel also. They have fresh wasabi which is always an A+ and we liked that they gave us sides of jalapeño, lime, and pickled wasabi to top some of the nigiris. Cute small business with super friendly chef and hostess. Overall amazing place for sushi!

    This was my third visit to Miyazaki Sushi- and I can definitely say their sushi is the Best, most flavorful, and most creative in the area! The atmosphere is relaxing with pleasant music, pretty artwork from Miyazaki's works and live plants (as well as Lego succulents and flowers which we love!) The presentation of the food is very pleasant as well. One may find the prices slightly higher but not only is the fish and produce of the highest quality- coffee, tea and water is included- which is a wonderful addition. The owner/chef is always present, kind and smiling. I will continue to eat here for the amazing flavors and kind staff.

Walking in, it has a very hip feel to it. Not a traditional menu of what I'm used to for sushi. The menus on the wall and prices seemed reasonable. Very limited selection. They also sell ramen here, but the kind that come in the buckets that I see at the grocery store? Weird, but ok. Anyway, I went with a sushi roll that was about $14, I can't remember which one. I also sprung for some Nigiri because I like it, and got a can of Dr. Pepper that I didn't really want or need, but hey, when you're hungry you do dumb things, right? Anyway, my bill was a whopping $25.88. OUCH. I was kind of surprised but considering my options and not wanting to leave the shopping complex, I paid for it anyway, sticker shock and all. There were two sushi chefs behind the counter and they threw in an extra Nigiri for me. It was delicious! Seatings limited here but there are tables and a TV with what I think was Kpop on it playing some cute music with videos. Anyway, the food itself was great, and I really did have a good meal here, just pricier than I thought. They do serve water here but I wish they had a bigger menu to choose from.

The place is clean and well decorated albeit a bit dark inside for the middle of the day. Our server was cassandra and she was wonderful throughout our lunch. My friend isn't well versed on sushi, and I tend to be a bit more knowledgeable so between myself and Cassandra we helped them out ordering. What I really liked was their lunch specials they have Monday through Saturday for a wonderful price. I got the basic lunch box which came with salad, miso soup, 5 nigiri and the chefs choice on sushi rolls. For $17, I got a ton of food! The food itself was really generous and freshly made. I did dock a star for two seperate reasons. First, the menu was impossible to read due to the extremely small font and dark lighting. We had to use the flashlights on our phone to read the descriptions. Second, the crab rangoon was good, but could've been better. Did I like it? yes. Could it have been larger and less overcooked tasting? Also yes. Prices are competitive here and I'd like to go back and try the hibachi if possible. I found a hair in my food, which immediately ruined my appetite and raised concerns about cleanliness. The steak & chicken were BOTH extremely tough and difficult to chew. For a restaurant serving premium cuts of meat, I expected much better quality and preparation. To make matters worse, the portion was underwhelming--We received only about five small cubes of steak, & chicken - which did not justify the price or meet my expectations. Overall, the food quality, portion size, and cleanliness fell well below what I expect from a restaurant advertising premium ingredients. Unfortunately, I won't EVER be returning and cannot recommend eating here based on this experience. {7.26.26}
