Very good and better than chipotle. The food service is nice and the food take so good

    Two protein poke bowl

Great ambiance and excellent staff. They had a fun tea drink selection. Got the two protein poke bowl that I custom ordered to include salmon, tuna, half brown rice and half kale noodles with all the toppings minus a few. Got the ponzu sauce which is traditionally soy sauce mixed with dashi broth and yuzu/citrus. Their ponzu sauce however did not taste like that at all. While all the ingredients taste fresh and good quality, one star docked for the sauce as it made everything taste salty but with no flavor.

We tried the spicy Ahi Tuna wrap with extra seaweed salad and the Yuzu Ponzu Salmon bowl. For Dessert: Coco Mango Haupia (sweet and smooth coconut pudding topped with a fresh mango puree) I got the sweet gochujang sauce on the side and it added all the heat I wanted without taking away from the awesome taste of the Salmon. This review is just on the food since we got take- away.

I was driving to get my Starbucks and saw the sign saying now open! My spicy tuna poke was sooo good! I also made mine extra spicy by adding more peppers AND the pickled ginger was the icing on the cake!

Poke Bowl - Large (3 Proteins)

This place came up on my 'new and hot' list of restaurants in the area when I was looking for some good eats, so I figured I'd give it a try (and I am so glad that I did). What I got; Poke Bowl - Large (3 Proteins) $18.00 I love a good Poke Bowl, as they are highly customizable, (the main ingredients are vegetables and fish -- two generally nutritious foods). Some of the most common vegetables used in Poke are avocado, garlic, onion, and carrots, which are full of vitamins, minerals, fiber, and antioxidants, all of which support your overall health. In my bowl, I added tuna, salmon and shrimp because, why not? The amount of meat for this dish was impressive and filling. I requested the meat be a little cooked/torched to give it a little some in' some in'. I also added: Cucumber, Sweet Onion, Cilantro, Serrano Peppers, Spicy Serrano Aioli, Avocado, Green Onion, Pickled Ginger, Wasabi, and Thai Chili. The addition of the spices totally kicked this bowl into overdrive adding to the meat and greens of this menu item. Overall, this bowl was fresh, filling and is something that I would order again.

First time trying this place. It's well lit, and set up cafeteria style. You tell them what you want, and they put your bowl together. The proteins were super fresh, and I loved all of the combo options. They make their own beverages in house. The cherry limeade was delicious- just the right amount of sweet and tart. The strawberry lemonade was super sweet; I was not a fan. They were out of black tea, and my friend said their green tea was just okay. I definitely plan to go again and take my sushi-loving son with me.

Was excited to try a new poke place and will say food was good for first few bites but was very off put by finding a staple in my bowl.

It's always a pleasure for Mrs. Bagg and I to visit this delightful establishment. We've become quite fond of its refreshing culinary offerings and refreshing drinks, particularly on those hot days. The ambiance is charming, complemented by a congenial staff team, making it an ideal venue for a relaxed lunch, paired beautifully with engaging conversations and good company. As for the gorgeous Mrs. Bagg, she loves the Spicy Tuna served over a bed of rice decorated with great toppings. As for my personal preference, I go for the Chili Lime Chicken.. any way you build it, it is sure to taste great!

To start this off- I have been in Georgetown for less than a year. & I can confidently say I have been to PokeWorks north of 30 times. (It's close to the gym) There is not a word that carries enough praise to represent this staff. Everyone is so friendly, professional, and patient. The store is always incredibly clean, which directly reflects the most important part, the food. Like others, sushi is one of my favorite foods, but it's not in my wallets best interest. When I describe it to people it's "imagine 3 sushi rolls smashed into a bowl for the price of 1". Healthy, quick, affordable, DANK. What more could I ask for ? Word around town is the poke bowl quite possibly saved my life. I LOVE POKEWORKS. 200 stars.

Online nutrition seems absurdly inaccurate as the luau pork has nearly double the protein of any chicken but that's a separate issue. Big if true though! I'd skip the mac salad. I'm not sure if I had a bad batch but I didn't get a good impression as the mac salad was firm, stale, and challenging to eat. It makes up a whole fourth of the plate but luckily you are able to substitute. More rice, vegetables, or even their pineapple skewer sound fantastic. I've had tons of different mac salads and appreciate all the variations enough where I'm not picky but this was a fail. Large Mixed Plate w/ Huli Huli Chicken and Luau Pig - chicken is juicy and tender with a nice glaze of huli-huli as a simple sugary soy sauce. Beneath the chicken rests a bed of rice marinating in sauce which is super delicious. On the other side is a pile of kalua pork which is a flavorful but slightly dry. Extra sauce is extremely helpful. Unfortunately underneath isn't a marinated pool of rice but you can do it yourself. I'll note that the foundation of rice does lead to a misleading idea that it's packed with meat, but the portions are still very hefty. Mac salad was poor as noted above.

Patrons are making a ton of choices from all of the great options and, it can be time consuming. Today, I stopped by to pick up 2 bowls. Each had VERY different ingredients and sauces. The employee was patient and very accommodating. I was reading, off my phone, the options that my sister chose. Then, giving the options that I chose for the second bowl. He didn't skip a beat. Even more frustrating for him, I think, was asking for all of the sauces on the side. He didn't seem to mind. He graciously put all of the sauces in little cups. He also labeled them with a Sharpie. Nice touch! Before I move on with the review, I'd like to offer a suggestion for the side sauces. If you are taking your order to go, the sauce containers will ultimately tip over in the bag, on the way home. Although the containers are of good quality, the sauce often leaks out. Perhaps adding a quick wrap of Saran Wrap (or the like), would aid in keeping the multiple sauce containers from tipping over in the bag, on the way home. The fish has always tasted fresh! Not once have I eaten here and complained about the quality! Sometimes we don't want to go to a sushi restaurant to get good raw fish. It's also hard to trust a poke restaurant in a strip mall. Trust me on this, Poke House does the job! I've been to this location at least a dozen times. Not once, was I disappointed in the quality and service. I'm so glad that this place is so close to me! Job well done! When you get that tip option on the screen, do what you see fit. Please consider the patience and kindness of the person building your lunch or dinner.
