The service you get from this Suwanee restaurant is superb in comparison to restaurants in Duluth. It was worth the drive, twice for me. The earlier you visit in the day, the less crowded. I personally didn't like the cucumber lemonade, but everyone else at my table loved it. Miss: the omurice was mediocre, the appetizers came out all over the place and not in order. The appetizers also were mediocre. The service was lacking. The waitress was rushed and we felt rushed in our orders, too. This is a Chinese own Japanese ramen place, so you already know it is not authentic. Its pricey and the food is average. The hostess seems annoyed, no smile on her face nor look at us when we arrived and didn't greet or take us to the table promptly. We were confused whether we should wait or follow her. This place is winning! I was lucky enough to visit soon after this place opened so I didn't experience a big rush or wait. I unfortunately was not on my A game and didn't take pictures. They have ramen and Bubble tea. Private curtain seating areas, seating along the ramen bar, basic floor seating and the best of all wall pods that look so cool to be in. The ramen was delicious. We were given an inaccurate wait time, they were yelling names instead of using a text notification so you had to be present. Most of the tables are at ground level and our tables 3 condiment bowls were dirty and not recently wiped down. We did not care for either of our ramen bowls and the chicken appetizer was very salty. Overall very mediocre experience. I'm not sure if the hype lead to the disappointment. I've always wanted to try omurice and I'm not sure if they just don't make it correctly or if it's supposed to taste kinda bland like ours. Ramen had a very "unique" broth. I can't really compare it to other ramen broths I've had before but the charsu pork and egg were delicious. Our waitresses were very attentive and even though they had to walk up stairs to get to us, they did a good job of making sure we had everything we needed. The wait wasn't long for just the two of us on a Saturday night but we saw heaps of people standing around at the entrance waiting for a while. They could probably utilize a lot of that empty space at the entrance to help accommodate the waiting guests better. Not a horrible experience but this place just didn't offer anything special. Wow wow wow! Quickest service I have ever received. They even had a cute little robot delivering our drinks that we ordered. There is a bubble tea shop attached where you can order from your seat at the restaurant. The ramen was delicious and served hot. The tofu dish was so different than anything I've tried but the dipping sauce made it taste even better. We got to sit inside the little honeycombs which made the experience more fun. Great ambiance and it is very lively as the servers are there to greet you and take good care of you. Will be coming back for sure! read more

We celebrated my daughters 14th birthday here last night. Party of 8... I completely forgot to take pics of all the food but the experience was great! The staff was AMAZING!! So attentive, nice, personable, and went above and beyond. My daughter and her friends sat in one of the honeycomb pods which seat 4.. the ones at the top are only for 2ppl. The tables are really small but you have to keep in mind Japanese style is more simple and minimalistic. They don't take reservations it is first come first serve so you really have to plan. I knew I wanted us to eat by 8 so we arrived by 7 and we were seated by 8. This was our first time going to a Ramen restaurant. The chicken is especially with the orange sauce I can't remember the name. Between everyone we had dumplings, fried octopus balls (very interesting taste, some liked and some didn't), spring rolls, B1 combo that came with the pudding and the cherry jelly, kimchi, steamed pork bao buns, fried oysters, chicken ramen, brown sugar bubble milk, white garlic tonkotsu shouyu ramen, amazing lemonade, and more. The staff had the robot sing Happy Birthday. If your a picky eater I would say be open minded b/c this isn't the ramen in the pack from the grocery store. All of the ingredients in each ramen bowl adds to the overall flavor. They also have additional spices you can add at the table. We will definitely be back!! The ambiance and service get a 5/5 from me. We were given an accurate waiting time (15 minutes), 2 of us got seated by the hostess, and we're throughly explained the menu. They asked if we had any questions and the waters came to the table before the hostess even left. Our server checked-in pretty quickly after and we placed our order. After seeing all the hype on Instagram, I finally decided to check out Kyuramen. I visited on New Year's Eve and once you enter the door, you can see why it's hyped on Instagram. The seating is definitely unique and one-of-a-kind, but I think that was the end of the hype for me. I ordered a spicy tonkotsu ramen level 2, and the food was served pretty quickly. As a person who LOVES Japanese ramen, the ramen that was served to me was mediocre at best. The broth was a little sweet and didn't really taste like tonkotsu broth. You can taste this spice they put in there (not sure what it is but it wasn't that pleasant). The chashu didn't really have much flavor or seasoning either so that was disappointing. The ramen dish itself wasn't HORRIBLE, but it definitely wasn't my favorite. I would've liked to taste the other menu items as well but I saw that they only had ramen dishes. I usually finish my ramen dishes but I wasn't able to finish this one. It was just mid. I think the concept is very nice and I would probably come back to try other menus, but the spicy tonkotsu ramen just didn't rub me the right way. read more

Decided to have a quick bite the other day. Sat down and was taken care of by Tran. He was a joy to have around. He was very diligent with his service. I'm a heavy drinker when it comes to water and I had to question myself a few times if I was actually drinking any that day because Tran was just so fast and on top of filling my water. For all the thirsty ladies, look no further. He'll quench all thirst. Charming fella. I decided to eat the omurice and let me tell you, it was a nice take on eggs and rice. Wow This place is crazy. First I saw this place all over instagram, so today we decided to drive almost an hour to see what the hype was about. Now I know. The first ever Japanese ramen place to do honeycomb stacked seating, that's just bonkers. They even have a tea store combined next door, Almost the entire place is covered in wood, they have a wooden family looking tree in the corner of the restaurant. Very Japanese-modern as I call it.
