Service was nice, quick, attentive. Place was clean. The sushi was really good! Everything I ordered was fresh. I enjoy MoRi House very much. Will definitely be returning.

Very cute place! The service here is always exceptional! Hands down one of my wife's favorite place for sushi (after Kani House) but Mori House also never fails. We always get the big bottle of cold sake and order all of our favorites like the Gohan Bowl, Crispy rice with spicy tuna or Wagyu, toro tartare and more!! The menu here is great and has something for everybody.

Suwanee roll with jalapeños and Kiss of Fire roll, both spicy!

Always a favorite place to go. Call ahead to reserve. Service is great and food is authentic.

Great sushi bar! The wide variety of rolls is great and unique and the omakase was great too!

A solid Japanese restaurant!! I came at 6:30pm on a weekday night and practically got the last table because it was full! That was surprising for me to see since I don't normally see restaurants busy on weekday nights. There is a large selection of sushi and my friends enjoyed their dishes as well. I ordered the tempura udon, which came with 5 pieces of tempera as well as bok choy, etc. Good portions and good ambiance, nothing to complain about!

We went for a weekday lunch and it was already a pretty full house despite only being open ~30 minutes by the time we came. - Lunch sets come with miso soup (tasted pretty standard) and salad (dressing is on the watery side, was just meh overall). - Hot green tea is free, but you'll need to ask for it. Tasted very watered down compared to other Japanese restaurants -Chirashi don- $22. This is huge. Fish is pretty fresh. Sushi rice is decently flavored. Overall I probably prefer Circle Sushi's chirashi don though. - Otoro (fatty tuna) nigiri- $12.50 a piece ($25 for two), which is a bit more expensive compared to other places in Atlanta. It was decent. I prefer Shoya Izayaka's, which is $22 for 2 pieces - Bento Misoyaki- $18. This comes with black cod (really good, but on the smaller size), two pieces of croquette, 4 pieces California roll, ginger salad, and rice. Overall a pretty decent deal. I'd be interested in coming back to try dinner menu items sometime.

This past weekend was our 1st visit to Mori House. It's a small but very cozy feel, more like a mom & pop sushi place. Which we love. They do not have kids menu so we ordered tonkosu soup, Tori Karaage fried chicken. The kids loved it. We also ordered salmon carpaccio, Hamachi Serrano which is a must try. Scallop with uni, Uni, fatty tuna churro was so fresh sweet and buttery is what you want the Uni to be. Over all I would come back and recommend this hidden gem to friends.

Fooood here was so amazing!!! I would definitely say Mori House is the best authentic Japanese sushi place here in Gwinnett County. I recommend you to make reservations coming here with a large party as they get super busy and the place is small. Overall, if I could this restaurant deserves 10 stars.

I think this was the Kiss of Fire roll

This is a great spot for sushi! That's all we went for so I cannot comment on their other menu items, but I can tell you the fish is fresh. We went on a Friday at lunch and sat at the sushi bar. The ladies who waited on us were extremely nice and definitely want to make your experience a good one. Two of our party ordered a large hot sake to split and it arrived in a very neat way. The carafe of sake was placed inside another bowl that had hot water, so it stayed hot. Very smart. I was a little disappointed that they did not have sake cocktails as I'm not very fond of straight sake, but it was fine..I ordered a glass of Riesling instead. We ordered many rolls and nigiri which I won't render all of them, but here's a few: salmon and octopus nigiri (sushi. You order by the piece, unlike some places that if you order one salmon sushi, it automatically comes with two pieces), Kiss of Fire roll, Yummy roll, Crazy roll, spicy scallop hand rolls, Uemo roll, and Red Carpet roll. I think there were one out two more, but I don't remember what they were. Everything was delicious and fresh. The only one I probably wouldn't order again was the Yummy roll. It had very small pieces of fish and a lot of rice and it was fried, so it was kind of tasteless. But I don't mind having one like that...and I'm sure someone else will love it. I'm going to post pictures, but I probably won't remember which is which. Haha.

Mori house is one of two sushi restaurants continently located off the super busy PIB, and is definitely one that should be tried for all sushi fans. They have lots of options on the menu so it's a little overwhelming choosing which rolls you want, but regardless of your decision, all of the rolls taste great and the fish is extremely fresh. I ordered the Ichiban, Tokyo, Long Island, and a sashimi assortment to share with 2 others. The total came out to around $75, which is pretty standard pricing for sushi. The star of the show was 100% the sashimi; with nothing else in the way, you could tell just how fresh the fish was, even after the 20 minute trek back home to eat. I can't wait to come back again when dine in resumes to get the full experience!

It was my first time at Mori House and my friend highly recommended the sushi here. We ordered a wide array of sushi rolls, edamame, hamachi kama and fatty tuna nigiri. The hamachi kama melted in my mouth. Impeccable. The rolls were delicious with a wide assortment and variety of fish and vegetables. I really enjoyed everything I ate. The only downside was the service was super slow. It took an hour before we had our entrees and that definitely needs improvement.

Takoyaki was good. Rolls are not bad. Chirashi was fantastic and fresh the first time i ordered it and not as good the second time but still above average!

Appetizers Ginger salad was great. Something about the ginger sauce made it special. Miso Soup was flavorful. Highly concentrated with miso and nicely salted. Tuna Tataki was one of the best we ever had. The sauce underneath was tangy, not too sweet or too citrusy. Tuna was tender and lightly charred. Lamb Chops was so delicious. They did well getting rid of the gamey scent. It still distinctly tasted like lamb though. Meat was juicy and tender. I think the only seasonings were salt and pepper on top. It did came with a minty green sauce on the side, but I personally would preferred not to use it because it completely hide the lamb taste. The side arugula salad was equally amzing with cheese and some kind of dressing already mixed in. The only complaint is that it came with 4 snall pieces. Main Course Negitoro had fresh, high quality tuna on top with green onions. It will melt in your mouth. Sounds basic but the quality made it stand out from other places. 12 & 69 Degrees Roll had tuna inside, salmon and avacado on top, drizzle with mayo and Sriracha sauce. Everything was fresh and tender. Premium Nigiri Dinner was a good option of you like to try different types of raw fish. Extremely tender and fresh. Highly recommend if you like sushi.

Had I known that we would have had to wait 30 minutes for our entrees to come out, I would have ordered everything at once. Drinks also took forever to come out. And I am not talking cocktails. Just a couple of waters and sodas. We had to ask for refills. It was a Monday night and not at all busy. I was very disappointed in the experience, since it was my daughter's birthday dinner. To top it off, they automatically added 20% gratuity (for a party of 5). Service certainly didn't earn 20% but I figured it would take too long to have it removed so I took the L and left.

The service is nice and quick with the ambiance depending on the day and time. We got the Crab Rangoon, Spider Roll, and Tiger Crunch Roll. The Crab Rangoon was delicious! It came out super hot with some sweet chili sauce. My boyfriend thought that his Spider Roll was average. There was too much rice for his liking. I enjoyed my Tiger Crunch Roll as I really only like crab and shrimp tempura when it comes to sushi... there was a lot of rice but it made for a filling meal for me. We went for the dinner AYCE at $29.99 per person, and kids under 3 eat free. Our toddler (3) and baby, free of costs. But our toddler did have his own meal (chicken nuggies and fries...what a plus!) Keep in mind that some items are included in the per-person price, while others come with an additional charge. For example, the fried ice cream dessert was $1 per serving on top of the AYCE cost. Not a huge deal, but worth noting. Now, onto the revolving sushi belt experience. The bottom belt is full of pre-made sushi, circulating around, while the top belt carries the sushi you've specifically ordered via iPad. This is where a few concerns come in. Since the pre-made sushi is constantly circulating, you don't always know if someone has fiddled with it. As for the iPad ordering system, it was placed up above the top sushi belt, which was a bit of a nuisance. It would have been easier to use if it was within arm's reach, but again, not a major issue. We opted to order items that would take time to prepare and came directly to our table, so we could avoid the pre-made conveyor. The fried ice cream dessert was great, tasty--but the spoon they gave me was dirty and sticky. It honestly felt like it had been used by a kid before being handed to me. Needless to say, I didn't use it. Service was solid. Our server was helpful, especially since it was our first time, and walked us through the process. Overall, it was a decent experience, but there are a few things that could be improved, particularly with cleanliness and the setup of the revolving belts.
