I have been going to L'amour Nails & Spa for about 5 years now and I have been a loyal customer because I am always satisfied with their service. It's funny I never made a review until now, but better late than never! Anna has been doing my nails all this time and I am always happy with her keeping my nails looking at its best. In the pictures I posted, I got my nails done 2 weeks ago now and they still look good! I go back and forth between the almond shaped nails to the Coffin French V manicure which I also love! There's no one else I can trust to do my nails right. Anna and her team are such good people. Always good vibes when I come in. She also does my eyebrow wax and upper lip wax. Terrible service, she was so nervous didn't even know the right powders to use for a full set ombre . Dianne is terrible only 3 days with a full set chiping , diamonds came off, she was unsanitary doesn't change her gloves or wipe her section down . The owners are terrible, the tables are so nasty you could wipe off dust from the previous 10 clients also the lady's really need new training because it's sad in there. The place should either retire or find younger newer nail techs Cheap , unsanitary, and doesn't even do the full cleaning before a full set. I had to go back in and when I did she removed gems off one finger and applied two in the missing and it looks terrible. I do not , I mean do not recommend this place. I also let her know my nails were loose the nail glue is half way off all of my nails and she did nothing about it. 80 dollars. Should of been 55 and I would of been okay not even making this post. read more

My second time here was on Christmas eve( 3 days ago). That night my big toes were hurting, next morning I had 4 super swollen red painful toes. Now it's Sunday night and they are throbbing and hurt terribly still. I have never had this happen, I need to mention I had no issues prior to my nail appointment. I don't know if the tech dug too deep or if was unsanitary but I won't be back Update dr said it's not an ingrown toe nail. It's an infection most likely due to sanitary issues. Had to have an incision done to drain my toe and get stronger antibiotics. TBC read more

Diane is great, she did an amazing job on my gel mani with design ($65) thus far, I showed her the picture once and she remembered exactly what the design was and that was impressive to me because I just realized they were alternating colours while she was doing it lol. I have had a hard time finding a place other than Dream Nails to do a good powder dip French and I was driving by on a Saturday morning and saw this place and figured I would give it a try. It was a couple minutes after 9 and luckily they got me in as there was only one other lady in there. After I came there was one person after another coming in which to me is a good sign. They had so many people coming in they were able to book appointments for the rest of the morning and early afternoon. The first girl I had (I think her name was Nia) was very nice and I thought she was going to do both my mani and pedi but she started with just taking the gel nails off and then had me go do the pedicure. She did a really good job on the massage and the French on my toes. She asked me if I wanted something that sounded like orange on my nails and I kept telling her I wanted a french powder dip and then she said I told her I wanted orange and I don't think I understood what she was trying to ask me so she ended up having someone named Layla/Leala do my nails. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and told her how they usually do my nails. She told me there was something similar that I would like way better as it lasts longer and won't damage my nails. I told her to go ahead and she used powder with a liquid which made it gel like and then used some tool to scrape off the top where she then put the white gel like powder. It was really cool what she did and so far a week later my nails are still looking good and haven't cracked or chipped. The best part was that I got a discount for paying cash. So, the only reason I didn't give a 5 is that we had some communication issues but I would definitely go back if my nails hold up. read more

Lyla is amazing! I'm super picky when it comes to my nails and she was more than patient with me. I told her I wanted something simple and natural and that's exactly what she did. She took her time and kept checking with me throughout the process. She also did my pedi and let me tell you...boy does she have strong hands! The massage was EVERYTHING!! This place use to be good. I asked for the L'amour signature manicure and didn't even receive the classic. There was no massage of any kind, Definitely no exfoliation or gel or paraffin wax. The pedicure was better then the manicure for sure but this place has slowly been declining unless you get Lala. She's great!!!!! She use to be the one in charge when I started coming here a few years ago but some other girl seems to be in charge and a lot more new people who obviously don't know what their services come with. And the paint job is awful. The paint coats a not even.And charged me 70$ that doesn't even add up! I think I'm going to be looking for a new nail salon. read more

Nina is great . However yesterday the male gentlemen did my nails . First off , I had to tell him 3 times my nail was crooked and then he tried to say it was my finger that was crooked. Finally he fixed it although the ending project looks horrible because the nail he fixed is very thick. Also I asked for the narrowed square shape , he gave me short and square. Second off I got a pedicure as well which apparently for them to remove your gel polish it's a extra $5. I was confused so the lady who did my pedicure said she wouldn't charge me. Lyla is super sweet and a great owner. Every time I've been here I've been greeted promptly and either been helped immediately or been told a realistic wait time for my service. I usually try to call ahead to make an appointment if I am trying to come in on a weekend or holiday. The salon is clean and has a large selection of regular polish and gel colors. The have several different pedicures to choose from and your service never feels rushed. I always leave satisfied and my polish will last four weeks plus. read more

I stopped by this place because it was close to my house. Jennifer was nice, my pedicure was good. However, when it came to the full set.... Not good at all. I asked for almond shape nails and ended up with "round". To top it off they charge you to shape your nails. The gel polish looks slapped on, so much so that I have to go somewhere else at lunch to get the job fixed. Most likely another $20 bucks. I don't suggest going here; rude,aggressive and wanna charge you $5-$15 EXTRA for every little thing. EVEN FOR A DIFFERENT SHAPE OF NAIL! Any time I would ask nicely to fix a sideways nail they'd catch an attitude. They lied and said matte can only go on top of gel nail polish, It can go on top of reg nail polish they just want to gypt you out of your money. They also told me my nails were dry when they weren't and I ended up messing up my nail and having to fix it my self because they rushed me out to go home early. They are great! My normal salon couldn't do a design and I stopped by and they said they could do it. And they did! They free hand a complicated design and same with next time I came in. The pedicures are great! Very clean and relaxing. They have lots of options for pedicures as well. Tried this place out after my friend told me great things about their pedicures and how they scrub you with fruit! I loved it! Their service was great and I was instantly seated and started with right away! The pedicure itself was so refreshing. However, my toes got infected! Most painful thing I've experienced. Made me never want to get a pedicure ever again. I ask the lady to take out my ingrown toe nail. She told me it wasn't ingrown and that I had a lot of 'dead skin build up' which I've never heard of before. It has been 4 weeks now and I'm still battling this infection! I soak my toes in hot salt water and push the puss out. Maybe it's just my luck because my friend has never had a problem. Just came to get my toes done here at my regular spot in Suisun City and my nail lady says that I do have an ingrown nail. I will stick with my regular spot. read more

(Pedicure) Wendy is so great! My toes are extremely sensitive and I actually don't enjoying getting pedicures.however, She is so thorough and gentle at the same time. I don't trust anyone else. I usually can't take my eyes off my feet while someone is working on my them because I need to brace my self for the discomfort but this is not the case with Wendy. I trust she isn't going to hurt my tender sensitive toes. (Full set ~gel) Lyla always makes sure I'm truly satisfied with the shape of my nails and she also cares about the integrity of my nail care. I'm very particular about the shape and if she didn't get it the first time, she pays particular attention to what I request. My nails were rushed, because 4 teenage girls came in... this was 40 minutes prior to closing..I have had 2 acrylic nails, pop clean off, after only 6 days of getting a full set. Not happy. The two stars are generous and only given because of the convenience and the price. But after a wonderful experience during a recent trip to Hawaii, I was reminded of the difference between a great pedicure and a mediocre one. The two times I've been here I've walked out thinking "you get what you pay for". Apparently that meant a beating, or what they call a massage, up and down my leg. Seriously, where did they learn their massage skills? I thought it was an accident the first time, but after several cut cuticles on my second trip I realized that this was no accident. Got a full set of acrylics. I asked for them to be thinner, not as thick . The guy who did my nails filed them down so low on only one side of practically each nail instead of making them equal on both sides. I just got them done last week and most have already cracked... to hide how thin he did them, he put thick coats of gel over the shaven side instead of correcting it by applying more acrylic on the other side. And when it comes to applying the top coat of clear gel polish over- he couldn't even get that right. There are streaks of polish, they look lumpy and I'm just disappointed. I asked several times to make sure they were level. I think he just got annoyed by having a client that asks for what they like and how they want. I'll be taking my business elsewhere... if you're too nice to say anything about how you like your nails done, dont, he even encouraged me to explain how I liked my nails done since this was my first time so that I'm not disappointed. read more

After another disappointing appointment at my regular salon, I came across this nail salon on Google and decided to give them a try. The entire staff was very friendly and welcoming! Nearly everyone that came in during my appointment seemed to be a regular. I got a pedicure and a full set. The pedicure was relaxing and cheaper than at my regular salon. I went there to get my nails done for Mothers day this year. With in a few days my thumb nail started to lift . l went somewhere else for several fills . On a need a quick fill day. And no time to drive to the other place l stopped in here. Worst choice of the day . After the rough gel removal, I asked my nails be cut down. To which my nails were filed doWn the left thumb was longer then l wanted, Plus when I pointed it out I was told to calm down and she wasn't finished. The left thumb remained noticeably longer, and was never fixed. So she then took off the right thumbnail. To which I had a bit of fungus under the nail . she spoke in a scolding tone to me. Ripped the nail the rest of the way off. Then filed over the area . Never in all my years have I ever seen this done. Both times I have had my nails done there I've left with sore fingers, nixs on my cuticals from the file . when I removed my nails l discovered on my right thumb that there was a hole in the nail it self due to over filing . I would give this place zero stars if I could. My friend and I asked for the same thing - a gel manicure and classic gel pedicure and a detail on two nails. We had the same services done but I was charged $5 more. They seemed extremely rushed like they wanted to go home even though they pushed for a 6 o'clock appointment when they close at 7. The pedicure was the worst I've ever had. The water was so hot my skin was bright red. The girl dug into my toe nails and made them bleed to the point that they were sore for days after. She did not use gel polish like I had asked. She put on lotion and gave no massage, but instead she pounded on my legs with her fist twice before putting a way too hot stone on my already burnt and throbbing legs. My gel manicure was just as bad as the pedicure. My manicurist talked on the phone the whole time and got upset when I didn't know she was speaking to me. Less than 24 hours after, I noticed two nails peeling up and went back to get them fixed. The next day, I noticed a different one peeling up. It has not been even a week and all of my nails are peeling off. I had seen such great reviews and heard great things from a friend of mine who is a regular there, but was sadly disappointed.
