They penciled me in for 11:00, but didn't seat me till 11:40...then they rushed me through my mani/pedi...I almost got 3rd degree burns because the lady made the water scorching hot! I do not recommend this place !!!! When they first opened their salon everything was fantastic. My appointments were kept as scheduled and people employees were super friendly. As soon as they started seeing more flow of customers, not only they became the rudest people, but they consistently did not keep my appointments as scheduled. By the way all my appointments were scheduled two to three weeks in advance. On a several occasion they kept me waiting for 45 minutes past my appointment time because they kept taking other people. - At some point I didn't even see the point of scheduling appointment in advance because I would have ended up waiting for 45 minutes or more anyway. Although I loved Tiffany's work, I no longer wanted to take my business to a nail salon where they don't get the concept of my time and honoring my appointments that were scheduled in advance. I made the decision to not come back to this place and take my money to somewhere else where employees are actually happy to have me there and they actually do keep their appointments as scheduled. read more

I've been coming here pretty much since 6/2016...Linda was great and only one of 2 that could do acrylics. When i went yesterday with a 3 pm appointment I waited 35 minutes to be seated ( all the stations were full) by someone new, I decided to get a new set and was told unless I had the tips cut down to 1/2 inch it would be $5 more for long nails...I have always had my nails 1 1/2 and never paid more...it's not the $$ it's the principle. She couldn't tell me why it was more...do they have to use more powder? She put the new tips on I had to remind her I wanted white tips after she started putting the 1st one on. Then they had me move to a pedicure chair, no water in it...it's 4 pm now sitting for 10 minutes - feet in no water, only the tips glued on as they took walk ins and told people on the phone to come in 20 minutes....wht make an Appointment. My fingers were stinging and my pinky was red and swollen. When she finally came to do the fill she said the processor is strong and she put alcohol on my fingers to make it better?? I was finally done by 5 pm after being moved again back to the table where we started. They have a lot of new Employees I guess because business is booming. I was so stressed by the time I left - Linda even said I changed my style to longer - My nails were even longer before...but the new girls spoke to her in their language. So she was trying to cover. I told the girl it should be relaxing when I get my nails done, No 30 min wait for an Appointment, no pain , no surprise $5 more and no switching back and forth from stations when walk ins are at the pedicure chair the entire time..."So sorry" Do not get waxed there. My daughter was getting her eyebrows done the lady wanted to do her mustache - which isn't visible. She kept saying no just eyebrows and she still put the wax on her upper lip and my daughter had to physically stop her from putting the strip on it. And my bikini wax was a nightmare, they didn't get all of the hairs and actually started tweezing....very painful. And when I got home there were still hairs.... And listen carefully when they ask what kind of pedicure - My daughter couldn't understand her girl and just heard pedicure but she apparently said deluxe pedicure which is usually followed by them saying $35...but that wasn't said...so my daughter hasn't been back since. It is clean there. My New Employee as soon as I sat down said she never heard of Tujunga...who lives here? umm me?? Linda, Jennifer, Tanya, Fiona are the ones to ask for if you do go here. I have been here 3 or 4 times for pedicures. I am so happy to have found a great nail salon close to home! I get the $50 Royal Pedicure and it is worth every dollar. My feet can be a bit gnarly and need all the help they can get! The service is wonderful and the atmosphere is comfortable. I took a friend with me last time. On my first visit, I had a pedicure and full set. Salon was relaxing, clean, and spacious. My appointment was at 5 but I wasn't served until 50 minutes later. My pedicure was very mediocre. Tracy finished my pedicure in 15-20 mins, which is the fastest pedicure I've had. She didn't put much effort into cleaning or scrubbing. She was also a little pushy about offering extra services. I declined "callus remover" twice and she kept insisting that I need it (which I really don't lol). I also witnessed her rinsing the tools using the dirty water in my pedicure tub, which was disgusting and I just hope they're sanitized after. My full set was done by Annie. She took her time and was detail oriented. Overall, not a bad place and might return again. read more

We were asked if we had a appointment because they had short staff on Sunday, we said no and they said they are appointment only on Sunday. This was absolutely one of the worst place at Ive ever been to. I told the manicurist that I'm diabetic to be careful with cutting my cuticles. I mean almost every single finger bleeding! This place is pretty and in a nice private mall, they leave the door open which is nice because I hate toxic nail smells. I also was happy to see they sterilize all utensils. What I didn't like was the slow dry top coat they use and the constant up selling for unnecessary services. $5 for polka dots, $5 for callous removal-not interested. Next time I will bring my own Seche Vite. My polish smudged after 2 hours dry time and chipped later that day. They also "forgot" to file one foot on my 10 year old and didn't apply any topcoat for her. Probably an ok place if you really watch to make sure they do their job and bring your own topcoat. read more
