I've been a customer until today. I had a chipped polish. I walked in and asked her to fix it. We know these things take one to two minutes to put the polish back on. She refused flat out and said she had no time. Zero customer service for a job she poorly performed herself. She put my polish a week ago. I was willing to wait until she had someone. I always get my toes done here, usually they do a great job and I leave with my toes done and tip for $40, you really can't beat it. I had a great experience today and have been coming here for probably 7-8 years now and I hardly ever leave disappointed. I would definitely recommend to anyone. It's your basic general nail salon but it gets the job done, no complaints. Lynn's Magic Nails never disappoints! I have been a customer here for a while, drop in every time I am in town, and service is always friendly and fast (fast in a good way). They are respectful of appointment times, which is really important to me. And the environment is very relaxing. They don't have a million customers trampled on top of each other. I really like the remodel they did. The mani/pedis have their designated zones. I would highly recommend them for gel mani or acrylics. They do a great job!! I've also been here a few times for waxing services. I have pretty sensitive skin and the wax they use works well without irritation. Parking lot is big but on some days (weekends) it does get busy. Prices are also fair. A gel mani and regular pedi was $50. Regular (spa) pedi I believe was $23, while a gel mani on its own was $30. read more

This place is probably one of the best that I've been to in the area. The new owners and staff are good at what they do and the prices are decent. Although this is not really a high end salon, they do accomplish the look you are going for. Parking is usually available in the shopping center. Went in and got a manicure on Mother's Day and had a fine experience but as I left the salon I noticed as my nails dried bubbles started forming in the paint. The next day they started to get lines and cracks in them the day after that (two days after Mother's Day) the nail polish is chipping and flaking off. I called back and spoke to mai she told me to come in. she looked at my nails and told me it must've been something that I did... Like I got them dirty or something. She agreed to repaint my nails and I put my hands in front of the fan and surely enough bubbles started to form again. I pointed it out to her and with Annoyance and she said "OK go pick another color". She directed another lady to come and paint my nails and when she came over she tried to convince me to just paint one layer of the new color over the job mai had just redone. I told her I didn't want to do that because I was worried that the first color wood chip again so she walked away to get her tools and made an "ugh!" Noise very obviously. She finish her job and I thanked her... I of course two days later the new color started to chip and flake just like the first one. I didn't even bother to call them and complain again because I just don't want to go through the same redundant experience. But my theory is that their nail polish is old or after extended use it just doesn't dry the proper way. So I highly recommend if you value your money and your quality spa time don't waste it going to them! read more

I understand I didn't have an appointment so I walked in to ask if they could just do a reg mani and pedi.. as soon as I walked in they all looked at me shocked and annoyed. I asked one of them if they can do a mani and pedi and she asked me if I had an appointment I said no she then yelled for someone to come out from the back and she looked even more pissed and annoyed and she came out asking again how can I help you? And I said well I'm obviously here for a mani/pedi no smile or anything she just rudely said pick a color. From what I've seen, the other female technicians' work is on par. On my first visit, I wanted to do a dark red manicure; Susan recommended a gorgeous, deep burgundy color, and convinced me to do the gel treatment over a normal polish. I'm so happy I went with her suggestions! Though it cost a drop more, that burgundy mani lasted a whole month; only the corner of my right thumb chipped, exactly the day before I had another appointment. Featuring an arrow design playing on negative space which I thought'd grow out well, my gel nails were perfection for those few weeks! Fielded so many compliments from women and men alike. On my second visit, I chose a variation on that first design but in white. It looks simply divine. Well worth the money. TIPS: Call in and make an appointment. Don't mistake their brusqueness for rudeness! Talk is just business. My mani/pedis typically took an hour. Be prepared to wait patiently-- each tech takes care with her customers, and you'll get the same treatment. Susan was very detail-oriented and careful. Excellent gel services! Be prepared with a picture on your phone of the design you want. If you have preferences, voice them. They're eager to accommodate. If you're pleased with your services, TIP your nail technician! I came to here today because my regular salon was closed and I needed a quick mani/pedi for an event. I will definitely not return to this nail salon after my experience. The woman who appears to be the owner has terrible customer service skills. She appears annoyed that you're asking questions, including the amount owed in the end. She is also very careless with manicures. She spent all of 15 minutes on my nails, barely cleaning my cuticles. She pretended to buff my nails for another 2 minutes and quickly began applying polish. The old polish wasn't even cleaned off properly before she began to apply the new one. The two stars are for the woman doing my pedicure. They use to be really good but after Anna is gone and the customer service, quality and responsibility are gone down the drain. They make appointment and confirm the day before and when you walk in they tell you, you do not have appointment . You put a full set it does not last a week they fall off. Walked in without an appointment and they took care of me no problem. The lady who did my nails did them so perfectly and really worked hard to have them look like I wanted. She asked if the length was ok, if they were filed ok, if they looked ok. She was great and everything was great. My nails look awesome. I just moved to the area so I've been looking for a permanent nail place and I've found it. We already talked about what we will do with my nails when I go back to get a fill haha. Nathan is the best! Have been going to him for over 7 years! I just realized he doesn't age lol - anyway, the salon is pretty decent, I think they are upgrading it, but it's been around for a long time so I guess they are renovating all the time. I hate that I'm giving 2 stars because they do a good job. However, after my mani and pedi I decided to watch what the staff does with the tools they used. Lets just say they did a quick rinse and resealed the equipment for the next customer. I saw them put the tools they used for my pedi in a disinfectant, however, tools used for manicures should be done the same. Not sure if I'll return. If I do, I'm bringing my own tools. read more
