This was incredible pizza, and I was geeking out over the prospect of having Squash flower pizza which I highly recommend, it was really great. We also tried the fried arancini ball which had spinach, and lots of cheese! I wish I had gotten a pic of that cheese pull. The day we went there was a soccer game going on and there was a group of people sitting outside watching the game and having a couple of beers so it seems like a popular hangout spot.

And even more so when it's off-the-charts deliciouso. You can taste the quality baked right in as I believe some food company's slogan must go. I tried the mushroom topped one which had excellent cheese, sauce and dough --- the dough is key in Roman-style pizza which has a different texture than most and is taller (ie. not thin crusted) and should have a little crunch around the edges and even on the bottom. Now that I've described it, I want one for brunch, lunch or dinner. In the meantime, I'll let you know they are an Italian coffee bar and have baked in-house pastries. It's not a huge shop, but big enough and has a very authentic Italian feel. I'm not sure how I missed this place, since they make things fresh; and my rectangular slice was very much so! The store is named after an Italian comedian who went by one word stage name Totò and there is at least one black and white photo on the wall of him. What a nice tribute to a classic talent. They also have some Italian products: dry goods and such on offer which adds to the authenticity. I almost forgot to mention the two sisters serving the counter who are very nice and helpful. Of course the chef and the pizzaeolo are great too. Rumour has it - they may be a family. Yes, it's true!

I have visited quite a number of baklava pastry places and tested them out. This is unquestionably one of the finest bakeries I have ever seen so far. From the very high-quality ingredients, to the good consistency of making each baklava piece, as well as the great freshness of the products, all areas are simply top-notch in the business! Their store layout, their very friendly and cheerful staff, and even their packaging, are all getting together to form a very enjoyably addictive experience. Aside from the artisanal baklava, they also have other pastries, cookies, chocolate, Turkish stretchy ice cream (Maraş Dondurması), premium cakes, cream puffs, fruit tarts, and I can keep going on and on and on.... Just be prepared to spend a lot there because it is simply irresistible. LOL. Take a look at my photos posted, you will get the idea instantly. At the end of the day, these are all sweet treats that you cannot eat too much at a time. So, it will be such a nice feeling to bring the baklava back and share them with friends, families, and loved ones. Such a beautiful place to visit in Montreal. An absolutely delightful experience.

This place was hands down a highlight of my Montréal food scene experience. The shop itself is very cute and cozy, with just two small tables by the window and a few chairs. The décor is simple, and so are your choices, which honestly works in their favor. When you step inside, you get a direct view of the bakers working their magic, which makes the experience even better. We ordered a hot chocolate, plain croissants, chocolate croissants, and a slice of the Kouign‑Amann. If you like a dark, rich hot chocolate that's not overly sweet, look no further, this is the place. As for the croissants, both the plain and chocolate versions were good but fairly standard. However, the real star was the Kouign‑Amann. It was served warm, perfectly crispy, and had just the right amount of sweetness without being overwhelming. It was so good that when I finished my slice, I went back to the counter hoping for more but they were sold out. To be fair, I arrived around 2pm and they close at 3pm. Despite that, the line moved quickly, and the staff were some of the sweetest people ever. My only regret? I only bought one slice. I'd highly recommend this place, but make sure you get there early if you want to snag a slice of Kouign‑Amann before they sell out.

We both had a "tranche" /slice /portion of the flaky pastry originating from Brittany. While it does not look like the Kouign Amanns I've had before, it definitely tasted fabulous. We were not the only ones who thought so. While we ate our bounty at one of the two open tables, we saw person after person purchase whole galettes, possibly for an upcoming family gathering. The pastry had a sweet and crunchy crust and a buttery interior. Here, it does not resemble a croissant. Instead, the layers of dough were softer than the typical honeycomb structure of a croissant. Speaking of which, my sister also recommends the croissants here, which she used to have regularly when the shop was open more frequently.
