I purchased lehenga fabric online and brought it here to be altered for an upcoming event. When I picked it up, the blouse was extremely tight and flattened my chest like a sports bra. After a couple adjustments didn't resolve the issue, I asked if cups I had at home would help, and she said yes. I trusted her, paid, and took it home, only to find the issue was still there. When I returned she shifted the blame to my "cheap factory fabric." If the fabric was a concern, I believe she should have mentioned it when she first accepted it. Instead, she said she "isn't a magician" and couldn't have predicted the issue. Then her solution was to add more fabric to the front but said she couldn't guarantee it would fit or look normal. When I expressed my concerns, she became extremely defensive arguing with me for nearly an hour, calling me dumb, guilt-tripping me about her machine breaking while working on my fabric, and complaining about the quick turnaround time( which she had agreed to). She ultimately refunded the $75 blouse charge but I was still left paying $135 for a skirt I cannot wear without the matching piece.
