A friend and I were shopping for all of the appropriate apparel for a wedding in India this summer that she is attending. While I was there, another woman came in to pick up a customized formal outfit that the Mahrvi Trends team had made for her and she seemed to be very happy with the fabric and the tailoring. The woman working there (quite possibly one of the owners?) was incredibly helpful and resourceful as we went through every single option on the racks! I ended up buying a lovely kurta (even though I wasn't shopping) and I'm so happy with it. The owner even gave me a "welcome to my new business" present!

Store was empty and service sucked. They need to grasp what customer service means. If you are serving a customer you give full attention not walk away and serve the next person that walked in. My son who is 5 picked up a plastic container that was displayed and the sales associate just yelled at him to place it down. I turned around and said its plastic it won't break secondly if it got damaged I would pay for it so no need to yell at him. Not all little children are misbehaved there are few that are disciplined. I am never going back there.

As an American I can sometimes find indian clothing a little confusing when it comes to Sarees and how they are shipped so here I was able to get all of my questions answered and they do all of the necessary stitching and adjustments, too! The prices are comparable to shopping online, only if you buy here you don't have to pay for shipping and you have your selection in hand. Its win-win. It looks like they are still decorating their space since the shop is only 3 months old but I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for indian clothing. They also have a lovely selection of jewelry, too that when I have more time I want to go back and shop for. We were recommended by a&be bridal shop to have Devon Yan to do some alterations on my daughter's…read morewedding dress. We were so excited as Devon came "recommended " When we entered the shop it seemed in disarray, one guy sat at a table on his phone never looking up (Will the dry cleaner, word of caution, don't go here for dry cleaning) We met with Devon. He was pleasant and seemed knowledgeable and agreed to the task of fixing my daughter's sample wedding dress. I was very put off when he asked for $1700. To do the job, and wanted $700. Up front. I don't get wedding dresses altered every day so I don't know? My biggest mistake. We went ahead and trusted Devon. With each meeting and dress fitting, we felt more confident as he paid attention to detail and (again) seemed knowledgeable. I decided to bring my mother of the bride dress in to bring up the front of the hem and put a slit up the side. Pretty simple right? Not for Devon apparently. I will put that in another review for that mess that I had to take to another alteration place to fix all that he messed up.

We tried to get in contact with them on November 1st and she did not hear from them. We then visited them in person the following week and we were told they had been having conversations with the wrong person about our dress. They promised the following week we would have the dress due to a long day for boxes. We are now three weeks from that discussion with multiple voicemails and still no response. We put down 500 for the cleaning. Such a disappointment we just want to know where the dress is and when will get it.

I had 2 wedding dresses that needed alterations and she custom added the off shoulder sleeves and made the gloves and neck scarf that I imagined!! I provided all the fabric for the accessories and she executed wonderfully. She also added the bustle to 1 of the dresses (her sugggestion) which made it easy to walk and travel throuhgout the big day. She's always prompt with her deadlines and will make suggestions if you are lost on how to alter a piece. I couldn't recommend her enough and haven't tried another tailor since.

Enter through main doors and at the fork turn right and keep going until you see the sign for her business on the wall. The door is going to be on the right side of the hall. She's very nice and helpful, I don't know why other reviewers were complaining. I was a little scared based on some of those reviews but once I met her or even called on the phone she was friendly. I got a pair of pants hemmed for $15 which is the best price I could find. I'm currently getting a skirt waist taken in for $25. I'm really pleased with her work and will continue to come as long as I'm here in Bellevue.

One day when I was trying to wear my favorite cashmere cardigan, I noticed that there were a few moth holes. In the past, I used to take sweaters with moth holes to a store in Bellevue Square, but that store has been gone for years. Therefore, I decided to use this cashmere cardigan to try. I was thinking because it's my favorite, even if it would be expensive, as long as it's done well I would be willing to pay. I walked into the store, and Victor was helping another customer. He was friendly and asked me kindly to wait a little bit. I looked around, and it seemed that he also made customized suits etc. Then I showed him my cashmere cardigan. I asked how much it would cost. He told me that each hole would be like $2-3, which was totally reasonable. When it's ready for pick up, Victor gave me a call. It was ready within the timeframe that he had promised. I went to pick up my cardigan, and all the moth holes have been fixed nicely. How much did it cost? Only $8!! Now I am a fan.
