There are probably 100 nail salons between Concord and South Park, but this location off of Sharon Road is by far the best. So much so , that I don't mind taking the 45 minute drive every two weeks to get my manicure and pedicure. Every single person there knows how to do nails extremely well. They seem to be trained on the latest techniques and always have the latest colors. I wouldn't switch even for something closer. read more

I'm extremely disappointed with my experience at Sassy Nails. I scheduled a 3:30 PM appointment, but upon arrival, there was no space prepared for me. I was asked to follow the receptionist, yet no chair was ready, and the way I was directed to sit felt uncomfortable and unwelcoming. After my drink order was taken, there was little to no interaction or warmth--far from what I would expect from a "luxury" experience. What made the situation more concerning was that an open chair was quickly given to another guest (a man's daughter who did not appear to be receiving a service), without any communication or clarification. This created a confusing and uncomfortable environment, and the overall energy felt passive-aggressive and dismissive. As a resident of the building attached to this salon, I would have been a consistent and loyal customer. Unfortunately, this experience left such a negative impression that I chose to leave. I went to Anthony Vince Nail Spa just minutes away and was immediately treated with fairness, kindness, and true professionalism. The difference in service was clear and appreciated after such an uncomfortable encounter. Due to this experience--and the strong impression of unequal treatment--I will not be returning or recommending Sassy Nails. 0/10. read more

Loved my experience! They have a great discount for teachers on the first Tuesday of each month. I tried to walk in in the evening in May and was told they were booked up with appointments. So I made an appointment for June and was very pleased. I got a pedicure. I opted for the sassy pedicure. It was your typical pedicure you would receive anywhere but they had the wax bags for your feet and a great massage. The nail tech I had was Phina. She was great, making sure the temperature of everything was perfect and she helped me with the massage chair. I also had a broken toe and she was conscientious that she didn't hurt it. There are a few TV's on the wall, they were on food network when I was there. My pedicure took about 45 minutes. As far as parking, there were a couple parallel street spots in front but they were taken. There is a parking garage, but there is also an apartment complex there. The spots didn't have signs but were numbered so I couldn't tell if they were for the apartments or for retail. I parked in a spot that was numbered in the parking deck (there were plenty to choose from) and I didn't have any issues! The facility is very new looking with a stylish and modern design. It seems like they do a great job cleaning too, I was there around closing and they were wiping down each seat and mopping. Will be back! read more

Today I was racially discriminated against. I called at 12:02PM (they open at 12 on Sunday's). I asked for an appointment for a fill and pedicure. I was reminded they only take walk-ins on Sunday, no appointments. At 3:20, I walked in and only saw 2 employees and was told there's a 20 minute wait (I was cool with that). Until a white couple walked in. The woman and the hostess exchanged a few words about how they "just called ahead". I was seated at a pedicure chair, and a few moments later, they were too. But MAGICALLY here come 2 more employees to service THEM. Naturally I asked "excuse me, I was here first. Why do I have to wait?" The hostess tells me "oh, they called ahead." I said "But y'all don't take appointments on Sunday's" her reply "We don't, but they just called ahead" WHAT?!? lol Basically, if you're BLACK... be mindful and don't patronize these people if they play in your face like this. I had an appointment for 10:30. I showed the design I wanted to multiple people and finally at 11:15 (45 minutes past my appt time) a girl told me she couldn't do it and no one else could either then just walked away without asking if I wanted another design or anything. I felt just rejected and like they didn't want to bother with me anymore. I would have happily done a different design. I just wasted almost an hour. read more

Cute fun place that just opened close to South Park Mall corner of Morrison and Sharon Rd. Must enter on the Morrison Rd side near Just Salad. Made an appointment for 5:15 arrived a little early and it was pretty busy for being a brand new place. I believe they have just been open for a week. Had a little wait but the staff was very accommodating. Helen did my nails she was very sweet. Since I work so close to this place I will come back again and try their other services. read more

I've been here twice and love the experience. The employee who did my pedicure was AMAZING and the massages made it the best pedicure I have ever had. The only thing that could have made it even better was a hot towel on the calves. I also got my nails done and really liked that employee as well. I love this nail salon so much because of the upbeat and young music and the high top nail bar - never knew I needed that until now. I got dip with tips removal, a new set of dip with tips, and a pedicure for $110 without tip. Highly recommend coming here! read more

Despite reading a bad review from Brandi that was less than one month ago, I decided to try this place anyway. They open at 9:30 am and I walked In at 9:28. No other custom was ahead of me and only one person was receiving service. I was asked if I had an appointment to which I replied No- I was hoping to be your first walk in. The same lady at the desk- the one in Brandi's picture said they were booked and couldn't se me. I asked if there was a better time that I could come back and she said No. In a final attempt, I insisted that I would gladly wait and she said scrolled through the schedule for about five minutes, that she could take down my number and message me when the first scheduled clients were done. That would be about 45 min to 1hr. I NEVER RECEIVED THE CALL!!! And at 12:35 I walked in again - this time with another seemingly -walk in customer- and asked what the wait time was. I was told to hold on a minute while the other customer-a white male -made his request for a pedicure and was seated right away. The girl at the front recognized me after a few minutes-so I simply asked did you ever call, she said -well, it's going to be another 40 minutes or so. I asked again Did You Call? This time an Asian man who was walking his finished customer to the front could see my frustration. So he heard me ask my final question which was.... Did you ever call, because I have been waiting since BEFORE YOU OPENED for a return call. The man asked me what the problem was and I told him I had been waiting Hours and to validate this I asked her what time did I Sign in and give my number for the return call? By her own admission-to the guy who I could now see was her boss- I signed in at 9:28. And no one ever called me back!!! He apologized and said he could have me back in 5 minutes. 5 Only 5 MINUTES!!!! To me that's still not good enough because the white man that walked in WITH me was already being seen. I simply replied never mind- I GUESS THE REVIEWS ABOUT TOU ARE TRUE! When I walked outside the manager came after me. And to me this is pretty ironic since ppl always say black women make a scene, and here I have the owner/manager running after ME -making a SCENE- being apologetic and TRYING DESPERATELY to explain away how front desk girls behavior. He even lied and said she was new and he still has to get her training on a few things. SIR - YOU ARE CORRECT!!! In fact you need to FIRE HER, because she is picking which customers will come into your establishment! The problem is WE ARE ALL PAYING CUSTOMERS. SO YOU WOULD MAKE A LOT MORE MONEY IF SHE ACCEPTED ALL PAYING CUSTOMERS!!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL!!! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!! Sassy nails is the best nail salon in Charlotte by far. They provide amazing and quick service to their clients (both men and women) and I have no end of good to say about them. The staff and management greet you when you are a repeat client like my wife and I are with such genuine kindness that you don't often see these days. My wife loves the quality of their nail work and their massage chairs and complimentary drink make the whole experience a dream. read more
