A friend of mine pointed me towards this place after I mentioned to her that the place I went to in Irvine charges $15 per hem job and more for original hems. I came here and was so delighted to find that regular hem jobs were only $4 and for original hems around $7-8. You leave your pants there and they will be ready the following day. For that price, I can get several pairs done for the price of one in Irvine. Bargain!!! read more

I took my bridesmaid dress here and I am so happy with the results! She added in a flutter sleeve, took the shoulder up as they were a little loose on me, and hemmed the dress (3 layers) for $50. I wasn't sure if it was worth it at first, but I am soo happy I brought it in! Chi Phuong is the best, she listened and gave me realistic expectations of how the dress would turn out. Ms. Phng's shop was recommended to me by a friend and I have been going to her only whenever I need to fix some clothing. I usually bring jeans, pants, fleece pants to her to get them shortened up and they look amazing. They look just like how the store sell them, the only difference is now they fit me. She does a great job in trimming the pants' inseam width as well. read more

Cant believe this dumb place has a 4 stars. Complete joke. Came on Friday to have two Burberry pants sized from 32 to 30. The man owner took the pants and told me to come back next day 5pm. I requested to keep the original hem. He charged me extra. Came back next day at 4pm and met the lady owner. She took the receipt and said its not 5 come back at 5 with a rude tone. The hell, only an hr early and ur still not done? Ok, I left. Came back at 6 and the lady gave me back my pants but guess what? They did not keep my original hem! these pants are not cheap...I wanted to fly kick her in the face! Sadly I have to leave bc I cant kick her face and nothing I can do. read more

I have been - scratch that, *had* been going here for years. I'm not sure what happened this last trip to the tailor's but wow did she EFF up big time. Perhaps she was not paying attention to what I was telling her, "Please hem my linen pants 2 inches." Who knows!? All I know is, she turned my two linen pants into SHORTS. Did she think I said "take off 2 feet"?? She thought I wanted to turn my pants into shorts - somehow taking a specific request to "hem my pants" into "turn them into shorts!" SMH. I had been getting my pants/dresses hemmed here for over 6 years and today, we part ways. It's not me, it's you LP Tailor. You went crazy and I just gotta let you go. I really love this place! I found this place like 5 years ago and for the life of me never did a review...my bad. Five years ago I was struggling financially and I needed to find a place that charged a decent price, but with good work. I was use to paying $10 a hem in H.B. when I lived there. I now live in Garden Grove and it was hard for me to find a good place because I'm not Vietnamese. I stumbled on this place because I had to pull over to answer a call and while I was talking I noticed this place. I walked in and asked how much per hem. The lady said $4. I was sold! I buy my jeans at Goodwill for $7 and get them hemmed for $4. Not too shabby! I go here often and the lady finally knows me...I'm going to assume because I'm the only American that's a "regular." Would I go back: Of course I would! I also recommend giving them a chance...for that kind of bargain you won't be disappointed :) read more

OMG. My friend requests me come to this store in order to fix my clothes. I need to say this is really bad service. I can believe it, i came there and fix only two : one long jean and another pants. I gave them from this Friday and they said that next Tuesday you pick up. After 5 days i came back, they said that your clothes is not finished yet. They said around 30 more minutes you come back. What the heck!! They need to know that no one lives close to their store and do not have much time for waiting. One start is too much for this store. Horrible!!. Stopped being a regular here ever since their low quality and rude customer service left me with little peace of mind for future dry cleaning jobs. There are other places offering similar prices and quality with greater accountability. I had taken a brand new pair of white pants here before a wedding party. Tried to pick them up 3 days later according to their promised date but the front lady (owner) "couldn't find them." Came back the next day only to find out that my white pants had a huge yellow stain in the front and the smooth linen fabric had lost its lustre--essentially, unwearable. Worse was the owner's denial and refusal to apologize. While it's no secret in the Viet community that small shops often outsource their dry cleaning and tailoring (see other review mistaking "2 inches" to be "2 feet"), taking responsibility for an accident that occurred under their watch was the least the business could have done. And, she didn't compensate for the damaged pants in spite of the mess. read more

I found this place through a referral from my friend and ever since then I've been here countless times for hems and tightening of pant legs and they do a great job. Quick turnaround time and very affordable prices. A lot cheaper than the other places I've been to and their quality is of the same caliber.
