Bife de Chorizo (NY Strip Steak)

This place has a great atmosphere and service. We had the beef empanadas to start and they were very good. They give you toasted bread with chimichurri as a starter-- definitely a nice addition. For the main course we had the vacio and bife de chorizo, both were excellent and served with a salad and fries. The beef was perfectly cooked to order and well seasoned. For dessert we had the flan con dulce de leche, wow! Really nice closing to a great meal. They also have a nice selection of wines and a full bar. If you're a soccer fan (specifically River Plate) you'll enjoy the place a little more. They have a replica of the FIFA World Cup you can hold. Anyway, definitely a worthwhile place to go for a meal if you're in the area. Note: they open at 5:00 pm.

Actually I want to give 7 star! Ambience very cosy and authentic with Argentine details... Service is very very good. He was pretty good to serving and explaning the menu. Foods was pretty good. I really like that chickpea things as an appetizer... Only thing made me upset there is no coffee with desserts:(((( This is my pleasure part! I eat the food just for the coffee that I take end of the meal. But there is no hot drink in this place. Rather than this pretty good food and service!

OMG! Thee best ravioli ever! Between the best tasting beef on the inside and the freshly made pasta, and the sauce, OMG!!! I've had ravioli at many restaurants, and this is by far the best! But let's start from the beginning. The place is small, there's not getting around that part. Let's call it quaint. There's the bar, several 2-seater tables, and a few 4-seater tables. Think converted row home, but only the first floor. Still, it packs a punch, in a good way. Let's call it cozy. We had a reservation, so we were seated right away. We started with cocktails. I ordered an espresso martini and my partner ordered El Fresco. They were both tasty. I've had better espresso martinis, but it was still good. My second drink was a beer. The draft machines were down, but the beer was still good. My partner ordered the strip steak that came with fries and salad. It wasn't your average salad. It was delicious. The fries had garlic & parsley. The were delicious as well. And she absolutely loved the steak. So much so that she kept trying to save some for the next day. It was a delicious meal! The parking is street parking. It's a cute spot. We'll be back!

Overall ~3.5, unique blend of Argentinian food but also a flair of Italian. The portion sizes were good, but the food lacked flavor. I was especially disappointed by the chimichurri which tasted like just olive oil. I especially would not recommend the empanadas. They left a lot to be desired.

This place is awesome. The food is wildly delicious. The charred octopus is out of this world. Their house salad is stellar. The drinks are creative. The meats are prime. It is an intimate and romantic affair. We sat at the bar and had a great server experience. I would take off a star but only because I support Boca Juniors and they clearly (and incorrectly) love River Plate IYKYK

Experiences this hidden gem for the first time last night and enjoyed every moment of it! This will definitely not be my last time visiting! The menu is so intriguing and as a pasta lover, it was hard to make a decision on my entree. A fellow diner shared how delicious their steaks are so I said let me go ahead and get one. I ordered the rib eye, it came with fries and I subbed the sautéed spinach for the mixed green salad. The service was ok. Not bad but not great. The waiter at the bar John, didn't seem very happy to be at work initially but he seemed to warm up and was quickly chatting up our group. The ambiance was lovely. Lists were a little too lowly dimmed for my liking but the space was wonderful. The weather was beautiful so whether you were sitting inside or outside, it was an enjoyable experience. My steak was cooked just the way I enjoy it and their chimmichuri is some of the best I've ever had. Thanks for a great dinner! I'll see y'all again soon!

10/10 experience. I made reservations in advance for my fiancés birthday, which I highly recommend doing, this is a relatively small place with limited walk in space. The service was great, everyone there is very nice and attentive. We got a few of their recommendations such as mushroom polenta, octopus salad, short rib pasta and rib eye. Everything was so flavorful and delicious, fresh, and warm. They serve freshly baked bread with chimichurri dip. We will definitely be back. The steak was one of the best ive ever had. One bite of the mushroom and I fell in LOVE!!

I enjoyed my time here. It's recommended to make a reservation because it is a very small neighborhood restaurant. Service was great and very helpful in clarifying dishes. It seems to be a place where the steak is revered , but I don't eat red meat. Starting with complimentary bread and oil is always a nice touch. The kale caesar salad was good. I enjoyed the chicken empanadas more than the spinach in the trio appetizer. I like that fries that it came with, as it provided another little snack while we waited on our entrees. For my entree I had the spaghetti pomodoro , which was on the tart side, but the flavors grew as I worked my way through the dish. I didn't ask, but it would have been a more well rounded meal if I could have added a protein to my pasta. We left too stuffed for dessert . Overall, good notes.

Food 10/10 The steaks were incredible! We ordered the ribeye and vacio based on the server's recommendation -- both were juicy, well-textured, and bursting with that primal, meaty flavor. Extremely satisfying, especially paired with the fries -- so bold and fragrant! We also tried the non-alcoholic version of La Mano De Dios 7/10, which turned out to be a great choice -- it balanced the intensity of the grill beautifully. Ambience 10/10 The ambience sealed the deal. We visited on a Wednesday evening and appreciated the relaxed crowd, which let us fully immerse ourselves in the moody, retro speakeasy atmosphere. Service 8/10 Service was warm and welcoming throughout!

A great Baltimore spot for both fresh pasta and steak! A friend and I split both the mushroom pasta and the steak and both were so good (highly recommend splitting so you can taste both!) and so fresh. The steak was cooked perfectly and it was clear that the pasta was made fresh, that day. The space is small inside but well worth it and I'd recommend making a reservation prior to arriving.

We ordered the ribeye steak and fettuccine con tuco, along with wine on the side. Both dishes were delicious, and the steak was juicy and tender. The service was great, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting.

The food was absolutely delicious, the drinks were strong and the servers were so kind. We've had this place on our list for a while and only wished we tried it sooner. We will definitely be back!

    gnocchi with short rib ragu

The customer service was really good. Everyone was very accommodating, friendly, and checked in on our experience several times. The space was small and intimate. There were a few tables lined up but the bar area. Nice, dark, and intimate setting. Not sure there was another part to the restaurant. The meal came out with fresh complimentary bread that was really good (I did find the dip that came with it a little too salty for my liking). I was trying to decided between the eggplant gnnochi and the short rib risotto. The waiter suggested the latter. I made a comment that I was hesitating cause I really have been in the mood to eat gnnochi but wanted to try the ragu. He said, we can make that happen and brought me gnocchi with the short rib ragu. It was excellent. Very very flavorful. I didn't ask for anything to enhance it; it was perfect. My friend got the steak and I took a bite of it and it was seasoned perfectly. We also tried the flan and the carmel sauce that came with it was spot on perfect. The prices were also very reasonable. I will most definitely come back here.

Giving this 4 stars only based on the food as I got it to go! But, Definitely check this place…read moreout... ordered myself the empanadas de verde (green plantain) and was surprised that they warmed up beautifully the next morning since I had gotten them to go after a 6 hours road trip to this place. Now I am wishing I would have grabbed more stuff to reheat and have the next day and/or gotten there with time to sit and enjoy the food but life, so here we are. Also ordered their fanesca as it is Holy Week... I will update when I warm that up and have it for lunch or dinner. One point on the fanesca they do not serve it with the little empanadas unfortunately or at least not with a to go order. Update: so I did have half of the fanesca for lunch, popped it in the microwave for 2:30 and it was piping hot and delicious! Had the 12 grains, cod, and came with the typical garnishes that I added to the top as I plated it at home. Fanesca!! Really good and with most of the typical garnishes: parsley, cheese, boiled egg, maduro (fried sweet plantain) and avocado. Just missing the small cheese flour empanadas as a garnish, but still amazing flavor! 10/10 The portion is plenty I am having the rest of it for dinner! Definitely give this place a shot if for nothing else the food as a to go option if you don't have the time or patience to look for parking.
