I primarily come to play the claw games, and I do notice that you get to hit payout more frequently if there are large parties also playing with you. So this past weekend I came for a birthday party, we booked a large karaoke room which came out to be $15 per head which came with pizzas. It was actually super fun, my only gripe was the AC wasn't working in the karaoke room. The pizzas were surprisingly SUUUUPER GOOD!! They're fluffy and thick, they come out fresh, honestly I was amazed at how good it was. Will definitely come back for pizza and claw games! Pro tip is if you join the membership (it's a $5 annual fee, and you get the new "gamer" card), you can actually add your old cards to your account via the app and access the same point discounts to load on your older cards.

The only issue that you will have is parking by the door that the restaurant is located. I did the full body 360 experience. The guy working the floor recommended Z City and said that it was the most popular game, so that is what I went with. The guy was very friendly and helpful, he was patient suiting me up and guiding me if needed. The experience was very realistic. I caught my self ducking and dodging. The part were I had to walk over some "virtual" planks were so real and I was extremely carful as to not fall off, even though in reality, I was on a flat floor. That game took about 30 minutes and was very fun. If you go here and play this game, I will just give you one tip..."head shots". You are welcome. The 360 games are the most costly option here, but in my opinion, also the most fun. They also have VR laser tag, VR motor cycle games, a VR ride, and other stationary VR games. But as I mentioned, I recommend the immersive 360 VR experience. They have about 6 games to choose from. This experience was awesome and the friend that I was with enjoyed it as well, even though, I had the highest score at the end. I will definitely be back soon. I highly recommend checking this place out. It would be an awesome team building event. I may have to pitch it to my job.

We played City Z which was a really great, immersive gave. When zombies attack you, you do feel it from the vests you where which was a cool experience. There's also another part of the game I won't spoil but it gives a super realistic feel!! Makes you alittle scared as if it's real life!! I think the game and the time length and quality is worth the price. What my family and I weren't too thrilled about where the process on how to sign up for the VR and things of that nature. I'm not sure of the name of the person working tonight 1/20/24.. but he just seemed a bit timid and soft spoken which made it hard to understand how to sign up, schedule a game, and hear the rules of the game. When we first walked up we asked about starting a game and we were told that we had to wait 20 min because the VR was charging, understandable! But he did not get us signed up.. didn't give us a time to be back.. didn't give us anything to hold our place in line.. so we had to keep checking back in to make sure 1. We were still up next and 2. If the charging was complete. Which was kind of frustrating. They also were only taking cash because the Apple Pay wasn't working. I understand it's not someone's fault for the Apple Pay not working but it can be really inconvenient to have to pull out bascially 100+ dollars in cash. Then once we finally got it, we still had the waivers to do, which I just feel like that could have been something we could have done while we were waiting for the chargers to finish so it was completed ahead of time so we could get in faster. In the end, the game experience was super awesome, but the customer service experience could definitely be better and improved in my opinion.

We brought it up to the lady behind the counter and she said she would get the IT guy. We waited about 5 minutes for someone to finally come around and he goes "It always does that" We expected a refund or something, but nothing. For $5 a picture, what a rip off. If it doesn't work "All the time" how about fixing it and putting an "Out of order" sign on it, so you don't waste $5 on a picture you can't use? Terrible customer service.

I used the card on one of the games but the game was not responding. I tried again and still no response. I decide to go to the counter to see if someone could either take a look at the game or if i could get the credits back. I get to the counter and see 3 or 4 workers just standing there talking, no one acknowledges me. I look around some more and see one worker on the far left helping some customers and another worker on the far right helping some other people. Ok, I'm assuming there's two lines and the 3 or 4 other employees are just taking a break or something. Not a big deal, so i get in the line to the far right. There is one person currently being helped, two teens and then me. The employee finishes with the first customer and then helps the two teens. He finishes with them and when he gets to me he just turns and walks away. He does not say a word, just turns and walks away. A simple "I'll be back in a minute" or even just putting your hand up and saying "gimme a sec" would be totally fine. Instead, no communication, just walks away. I told the group of 3 or 4 people just standing there that I needed assistance and one of them went to refill my card. As i was waiting the guy who was serving the line on the far left came over and asked if I needed help. He was really friendly (he looked Asian or Mexican). Anyways, he's the only reason I'm giving that place two stars instead of one.

What should have been a special night for my nine-year-old son turned into one of the worst experiences we've ever had at a birthday party. The facility was unbearably hot during a San Diego heat wave. I specifically asked if the AC was working and was told it was running at maximum capacity. Employees later told us the AC apparently hasn't worked for months. Check-in was chaotic despite completing our waivers beforehand, and during the races, one child's kart battery died and he was unable to finish--with no replacement race or accommodation offered. But the worst part was the behavior of the supervisor, Will. One of the fathers in our group unknowingly brought in an outside drink. The moment he was told it wasn't allowed, he threw it away without an issue. Despite complying, Will continued to confront him aggressively. When I approached to understand what was happening and de-escalate the situation, Will became aggressive and intimidating toward me as well, standing extremely close to me and speaking to me in a completely inappropriate manner. This happened in front of our children, moments before we were supposed to sing Happy Birthday. The situation escalated to the point that law enforcement became involved, and I will be filing an official police report. We spent a significant amount of money on the party, additional races, food and drinks, and consistently tipped the employees helping us. To have my son's birthday end this way was absolutely unacceptable. I am asking K1 Speed corporate management to investigate this incident, speak with the employees who witnessed it, review the surveillance footage, and address the ongoing AC issue. No family should spend this kind of money on a child's birthday party only to leave feeling threatened and unsafe. I would not recommend this location to another family.

They have classic arcade games here like Frogger Pong, Super Mario and pinball. There are a few newer games like a version of beer pong, Halo, Mario Kart and 4-person Pacman. We played every game within an hour and felt a bit bored after that. I'd love to see a Dance Dance Revolution game here! The plethora of beers, hard seltzers and ciders on tap looked like an expansive collection. There was something here for everyone. They even had a chocolate espresso martini on tap. I didn't drink but those in my party enjoyed every sip and got a good buzz goin. I love that you can pay for your drink by the ounce and you don't really have to commit to a whole drink if you don't want to. Perfect to taste test everything if that's what you desire. I'll be back in the area when I'm feelin in a fun and drinky mood.

It was a little smaller than I expected, but it's still easy to spend an hour or two here with friends. They also serve food, which I'll have to come back and try another time. Instead of ordering drinks at the bar, you start a tab by leaving your credit card with the cashier. They give you a tap card that lets you pour your own drinks. You can sample just a little or fill up a whole glass. It's completely up to you. They have everything from beer and wine to a few craft cocktails on tap. If you want to try something different, you can swap out your glass and keep exploring. The same tap card also activates all of the arcade games, which I thought was a really cool touch. It makes everything feel connected instead of having to carry around a bunch of tokens or cash. When I visited, they were hosting trivia night. It definitely brought in a crowd. Most of the tables were full, so walking around got a little tight because the space isn't very big. Even so, the atmosphere was lively. It felt like everyone was having a good time. I ended up trying the Cranberry Mule, which I really enjoyed. It was nice being able to pour just the amount I wanted instead of committing to a full drink. Overall, I had a really fun time here. It's a unique spot that gives you something a little different from your typical bar. Once you're ready to leave, you just close out your tab and head home. I'd definitely come back with a group of friends.
