Lined up and ready to race at K1 Speed. Great track, great staff, and an awesome experience overall.

Had a great experience at K1 Speed. The racing was fast, well-organized, and a lot of fun from start to finish. The staff was supportive, professional, and made sure everything ran smoothly, especially with safety and race flow. Overall, it was an exciting and well-managed experience. Definitely coming back again.

Purchased 3 race plus membership today. Had an awesome experience. Staff were exceptional in attending to our needs and answered all our questions. My little one got to enjoy the tracks solo. Thank you for going above and beyond! Can't wait to go back!

My daughter's birthday party was almost two weeks ago and the kids haven't stopped talking about how much fun they had! This place has it all -- go kart racing; thrill park with inflatable bumper human hamster balls, zip line, warped wall, wipeout trampoline, and foam pit; ropes course; and arcade. We booked a private party room for a couple hours but we ended up staying at Speed Circuit almost 5 hours! The birthday party package options are great! We booked 2 races with thrill park and some parents also bought arcade cards. The staff were all nice, especially Simone who checked in with us regularly to make sure we had everything we needed and was helpful getting everyone checked in. We got grip socks for all attendees, and nice top 3 medals. Three of the kids who were at the party already decided they want to go there for their next birthday party. My daughter is already asking when we can go back.

My husband and I went for the Valentine's Day special and we had so much fun! It isn't just for little kids, this place is for anyone looking to have a good time and " feel like a kid" again. We went during their Valentine's Day special and it was so worth the $! The racetrack is long and gives you a significant amount of time to race. We loved the life size hampster wheels and cool obstacles. There's an arcade and clean bathrooms and a party area for anyone looking to bring the kiddos! The staff was amazing and helpful and down to earth. Anyone looking for a good time, check it out!

Absolutely insane how long they make you wait on the phone to talk to someone. Been on the phone for 44 minutes right now without an answer.

Came here for my niece's 11th birthday party with about a dozen of her friends and their parents. This venue is split into threes distinct areas: go-kart race track, arcade and physical activity play area. Few photos this time as I was helping to keep my kids and my nephews safe during the event. Our party package included: a dedicated party room, a dedicated race just for core party attendees (kids in this case), seemingly unlimited use of the physical equipment area and designated time with the obstacle course spanning the area above the arcade. The dedicated party room is located in the back of the arcade, which has some simple decorations that we can add to ourselves. It served a perfect "home base" for our party. Actually getting a clear designated race time for our party tweens was a pain. There was a lack proper communication between the staff managing the track and the front desk back at the arcade. I imagine it should have been that the track will notify us in the arcade area like they did with other race groups but it seemed awkward to get our party in the busy queue for some reason. They post that riders need to be at least 48" to drive these go-karts. My youngest is 49" but could barely push touch the pedals so you actually need to be a bit taller to drive. It was a good thing I planned to drive to ensure she could ride with me. They provide a thin head sock to wear under the helmets provided. I brought beanies to wear instead , which offered thicker padding and guaranteed cleanliness. We had some kart issues and had to exit the vehicle and switch karts mid-way after they stopped all other go-karts in our race group. I appreciate the safety measures but the exit instructions were not very clear to me. Perhaps I misunderstood due to the safety helmet obscuring my hearing. The ventilation for this indoor track is poor in my opinion. Even with the doors open the smell of gasoline fumes is fierce so you should likely only be in this area for the short while you are racing or watching a race. Overall, the go-kart race was a fun experience to enjoy together with our party group. The physical activity area was next. They have multiple equipment options: a spinning eliminator (like the Wipeout tv show), a trampoline area with three giant inflatable balls you can climb into, a vertical wall (like in Ninja Warrior), a zip line swing, and fabric swings for aerials. There's even a small dedicated are for toddlers to climb and play. The kids spent hours playing in and out of the inflatable balls and taking turns on the zip line swing. A few managed to traverse the vertical wall and slide down the adjacent fireman's pole. This area needed more staff attending honestly because only one supervised attraction could be open at at time. Thankfully most of them didn't need supervision. After a quick song and cake break, the kids queued up to try the obstacle course that overlooks the arcade. It literally spans the space right above the arcade! My eldest was the only one brave enough to try between my kids, but she convinced me to pair up with her for extra encouragement. I'm not one for heights but far be it for me to give my daughters' any feeling of limitations right? The staff were chill. A bit too chill. We had to peel employees away from the front desk and their chitchat to get assistance multiple times. I'm fairness, the staff were polite, just not dedicated. Seems like the fault of minimal manager oversight. As with most venues, there should be at least one dedicated employee to ensure big spenders (party sponsors) and their attendees are well taken care of. In the end the tweens all seems to enjoy and that alone makes this a good experience. Just a few improvements needs to make this a great experience that more parents will rave about and book for their next event.

Little guys over 42" can enjoy racing too!

Pretty pricey place. We came here for a birthday party for my Nephew. All of the kids enjoyed their time but it went by quickly. Definitely could've played longer but party time expired. Too expensive for us to come back as often as my son would like. Arcade game area. Racing. Foam pit. Trampoline. Toddler area with smaller jungle gym for younger tots to enjoy too!

    Quality time

Spent an absolutely amazing day with my 5yo! I love that this venue has so many diverse activities to partake in. We both had a blast in the hamster balls while waiting for our race times The main reason I decided to come here was for the passenger karts. It's been frustrating to learn that most if not all karting venues have single seaters. I get the business reasons, and trust me I'd love to torch the tracks on my own if given the chance, but this option allows my son and I to participate and create amazing memories. Definitely gonna try the ropes course and zip lines next time! As a parent of a special needs kiddo, this holds a top spot on my list of activities whenever we're in town visiting family.

Is this place too young for a 16 year old's birthday party? Asking about both the go-karts and thrill park

I would say it's appropriate for the go-karts but the thrill park may be too young

    Do they sell food?

Hi! We do not have a kitchen, so we only sell beverages, snacks, chips, candy. We have lots of restaurants nearby and we allow outside food!

How old do you have to be?

I think it goes by height

What is the minimum height requirement for a passenger?

Actually that is the height for a kid to drive a kid's car - its 42 inches to ride as a passenger and 60 inches to drive the adult car. I have taken a kid in the passenger car and it was a bit so-so but its probably the best you can do for someone… Read more

What's the weight and height maximum on the go carts?

I am 6 foot 6 and 270 pounds and it was a tight fit for me.

Is this adult friendly or mostly for kids?

I went with 13 adults. We brought a cooler of beer and drank in the parking lot without any issues...

I was on the hunt for a ropes course for my sister's bachelorette weekend for MONTHS. I couldn't find one that was 1) in the area 2) in our price range and 3) open on July 4th. Not a single one. And then I received an e-mail that UCSD would open up their challenge course for us...a bunch of ladies (and two gentlemen!) who did not know what we were getting ourselves into for a couple hours on a Saturday morning. We only did the highs-only course that was 50 ft up in the air. This included walking on wires, jumping across platforms, upper body strength, and ziplining...to name a few. I know it's not the typical "bachelorette" extravaganza, but I wanted something thrilling and adventurous that we could all participate in together. That's exactly what this challenge course does; it tests your limits and helps to strengthen collaboration, but most importantly, it's FUN! I, personally, was not frightened by the height or tasks we had to do, but it was definitely exhilarating on another level (no pun intended.) I write this review with a profound gratitude for this company because they exceeded my expectations. THANK YOU for giving us a reasonable price per person (every other company I called was $3000-4000 for a group of 12,) being open just for us on a holiday, and integrating such vibrant personalities to lead us through the course. I wish we could have tried things like Leap of Faith, etc., but perhaps there's always another time! I think I've found a new hobby. :)

Special shout out to Trish who organized and facilitated the registration process. Very smooth and detail oriented. YAY Trish!!! Props to the teams: Sat-Ian (Team Captain), Gary, Doris and Arlene Sun-MC, Amber, Andy and Dan This year's obstacles were crazier and even dirtier than last year. I remember last year I barely got wet and/or dirty and I dried off fairly quick. This year was BANANAS!!! Mud, puddles, foam, water, inner tubes, slides, color, and then some. I was happy I got thru the monkey bars without falling into the water/mud pit. I was not happy that the next obstacle (foam inner tube) I was shot with foam in my face going down the water slide and I almost drowned by getting ran over by another inner tube into the water pit. WOW! Thereafter, you have the revolving balls. You have to get across by walking on the tubes without falling into the muddy water. FAIL!!! Almost drowned in 4 ft of water. Then the injury with going up the ladders. I sustained a deep cut on my knee and started to bleed. I ran pass a First Aid booth asking for a band aid and got shut down with a "we're not first aid". Then whyTF were you in the first aid booth?! My fave was the big gigantic slide at the end of the course! You dive head first down the slide. YIPEEEEE!!!!!!! I have to admit, some of the challenges were pretty intense and nuts, but it sure was a LOT OF FUN!!! By the end, we were soaking wet, muddy, foamed and colored. CRAZINESS!!!
