While unloading decorations, we were approached by a homeless individual who was shouting nearby, which was a little unsettling. Parking was also somewhat limited, and I found myself worrying about our guests. Having worked in Northridge about 10 years ago, I remember it feeling much different than it does today. That said, this isn't a reflection on Teena or Athena Event Studio. She was an outstanding host, and the venue exceeded my expectations. If there is a special event not listed on the calendar members and non members never get directly notified. The post has a massive email mailing list of folks so why not just send out a copy of the monthly calendar, along with event updates to everyone? One click does it all. The turnout would be a lot better, and the bar would get additional revenue from those who drink too. If they did that they would get five stars!!!!
