Had lunch with a friend who I knew loved Mediterranean food, and this place did not disappoint. The menu is rather simple, with variations of the few meat dishes on there, so that's the variety. On a recommendation from the waitress we both ordered the lamb chops, and I gotta tell you they were the best I've ever had. Hands down. I highly recommend you get them. Don't let the shopping center location fool you. It's nestled in the corner of a strip mall featuring 7/11 on one side and a gas station on the other. Not a lot of parking, since it's all shared, but do t let that deter you. I'd go back here anytime. read more

Went for Mother's Day Luncheon and it was sort of dead but the jazz music covered that lol All of us ordered the appetizer sampler as you can see on the pics, then we all ordered the lamb kabob combo which they pretty much placed it on one platter and Basmati Rice, see the pic. Food are amazing and delicious, my parents have been to Greece and they compared the taste very authentic. Our host was quite generous and helpful on what to decide on the dish but as a Yelper that likes Mediterranean Food their menu is quite delicious. My father wanted to order the fish but they ran out due to a previous large party. Don't forget to ask them about party platters and their banquet hall as well that can hold Up to 75 guests. I cannot recommend La Bella Mediterranean enough! We booked the venue last minute for my dad's 70th, and everything exceeded our expectations. The owner, Tony, was incredibly easygoing and flexible, which made planning so stress-free. The space is beautifully remodeled with a modern glam vibe and even has a small stage perfect for a DJ. The food was abundant and absolutely delicious--they even accommodated some of our catered traditional Nigerian family-style dishes. The servers were attentive, friendly, and responsive throughout the event. Truly a five-star experience from start to finish! read more

We had one Cornish kabob and one shish kabob. The taste of the food was disgusting. I made a mistake and ordered one shish kabob to go for my daughter before that actually, my food came to the table. This place opened up where Noah's Ark used to be. I've seen that spot change hands a bunch over the course of my time living in the valley. I remember it was an Indian place at one point. Anyway, nothing ever seems to stick. It's a banquet hall connected to a kitchen which is shared with a smaller store front which happens to be the restaurant in this case. My wife and I haven't been able to find a good Mediterranean place since Noah's Ark closed. There's a few places down the street which are good, but not worth the cost. Honestly, it's kind of weird when a roadside stand is a legit contender for best Mediterranean food North of Roscoe in the San Fernando Valley. Anyway, we hadn't tried this place yet, so we decided on it for takeout. I called in my order, spoke with a guy, and drove over. When I got there, I found a very nice looking restaurant....with nobody in it. That was around 6:00 PM. Granted, that's a little before the dinner rush, but strange all the same. There was a bell on the front counter which I went up and rang. A lady came out of the kitchen and told me she'd just gotten the order and it'd be another ten minutes and invited me to sit and wait. Evidently, the order had to be relayed over and the person I spoke to wasn't in the restaurant. I took some time to look around. Place settings and menus were laid out the way that you'd expect. The TV was on a youtube channel which played music. As far as I could tell, that lady and I were the only ones in the entire place. I brought the food home. They have _really_ good takeout containers. I washed them out and I'm using them for some of my prep work. Food was hot and seemed like it hadn't suffered a bit for having been takeout. The food was OK. The rice -- and there was a lot of it -- had the sort of buttery taste that you expect from Mediterranean food. I ordered a beef combo which was a shish kebab and a lule. The shish kebab had a marinade that had an overpowering amount of tomato. The lule was oversalted -- pleasant enough for the first couple of bites, but the novelty wore off. It came with a grilled tomato and pepper. On my way out, I noticed that the receipt listed me as order #1 for the day. The restaurant opened at 11AM and had been open for about 7 hours without serving anyone until I came along. I don't know how they're making money or _if_ they're making money. I wondered if they ran a ghost kitchen, but I don't see how you'd do that with just one employee in the building. My guess is that they survive renting & catering the banquet hall, though I've never heard of anyone using that banquet hall before. It's obvious there's a lot of fake reviews for the restaurant right now. It's amusing to see the comments about top notch service when there was literally one person in the building and she was cooking! For my part, the cost was more reasonable than other places, but it also wasn't as good, so I'm unlikely to return any time soon. read more

When I saw them open again I was excited and quickly called in my pick up order. Come to find out, I was disappointed in some of the changes made under new ownership. First, the prices seemed to have significantly gone up. Second, the beef or chicken lula plates only come with 1 skewer now instead of 2. My to-go plate was mostly filled with rice, and 1 skewer of meat. It looks like they also no longer include the hummus with your order, so the pita was super dry when eating it with a small pace of meat and a whole lot of rice. The taste seemed the same, but the changes in the order and what was included was disappointing. I have seen other new Mediterranean food places on Instagram and Yelp that I think I'll try instead for the next time. read more

Four of us came for Mothers Day and had THE most incredible Mediterranean food ever! We chose it because of the great Yelp reviews and so happy we did. We started with the Appetizer Sampler which was amazing!!!! All five apps were delicious. Shout out for the domas, stuffed grape leaves, the best I have ever had!! I could have eaten the entire sampler platter with the pita bread all by myself. Coincidentally we all ordered the Lamb Combination and the owner was kind enough to serve it family style OMG, it was the best lamb!! Chops, lule, and kabob, all marinated in the best spices, all melt in your mouth. The owner was kind, friendly, generous, and made us feel very welcome. This place is probably one of the worst restaurants I have ever been to. I saw a review saying the owner gives people free stuff to write a review. After coming here I realize how true this is, most of these reviews have to be fake. I ordered a beef koobideh plate that shows two skewers in the picture, I asked the young asian girl helping me if I could sub the rice for salad she said no we can only do rice and french fries, I told her I don't eat rice or French fries. Then when I got my plate it was only one skewer cut in half, I have been to dozens of middle eastern restaurants and nobody has done this. I asked how much for a la carte and it was $13 to add another skewer. This place is a joke, food is good but there are too many good places to go to this shady restaurant. Wow wow wow, just wow! We have been wanting to try this place for some time, but already have a usual Mediterranean spot. Well we finally tried this place and this is now our new Mediterranean spot! Everything is super delicious! We ordered a Chicken Lula meal, a Beef Lula Meal, and a large hummus. It was enough food for 2 meals for 2 people, plus leftover hummus for 2-3 snacks. The only think I would recommend is updating the descriptions on grubhub, because the meal came with hummus which it didn't state and that's why we ordered the large hummus. Also the oz of hummus should be added because wow the large was large (hence all the leftover snacks we had). Not complaining though because the hummus was delicious we didn't mid having so much! We ordered the food for pickup through the yelp app around 1pm and we picked it up around 1:20. It was ready much sooner than the estimated time and pickup was quick and painless. The only struggle was parking, but that lot is always troublesome. We will definitely be coming back here often! read more

This place used to be called Noah's Ark, it was pretty good back then. Now the food is rubbery and bland, if you order rice with kabob they'll give you overcooked brown rice, not a good look. Kabob and most Mediterranean food is never served with brown rice. The fillet isn't really fillet, the luleh is dried to a cinder, and the chicken is unseasoned. There seems to be no real knowledge of the food they're trying to serve, and to make it worse they charging about triple what they should be charging. There are several better options very close-by. read more

The new owner was very nice on the phone but the food and higher prices with a smaller selection on their new menu is horrible! I placed an order on the phone and was told by the new owner they use different seasonings and have a completely new menu. I can get onboard if things change for the better, but for the extreme worse and then increased prices on top of that is not the way to attract and keep old and new customers. Our usual family order was no longer available and we had to settle for a scaled down version. Everything tasted completely different with bland seasonings all-around on our chicken and beef kabobs, salads were just okay and falafels are also no longer available. The portions were smaller and we paid $20 more than what we usually pay for a similar scaled down version of what we were ordering for 15 years. We paid over $70. Masis Kabob at the mall in Sherman Oaks, Woodland Hills, Glendale and Arcadia has better tasting kabobs, salads, etc. We rather drive to one of their locations to eat delicious kabobs and other food items. They have falafel there too. Lol. My husband, our 2 daughters and I were completely let down and the whole experience literally left an everlasting bad taste in our mouths. My family and I have been going to this restaurant for over 15 years and it looks like the new owners took over this business after Covid hit, but did not either get or want the previous owners' recipes... because all of their kabobs we used to order are ALL SEASONED COMPLETELY DIFFERENTLY NOW BY NEW OWNERS AND BLAND. We wasted $70 trying to give the new owner(s) a chance since Noah's Ark has always been our #1 place for kabobs and we will never go back. We have been bringing family and friends coming from out of town to this restaurant for over 10 years and everyone raved and always enjoyed the old Noah's Ark. RIP original Noah's Ark. Your restaurant was better than any in the Valley and Glendale. That's how great your restaurant was! Our family and so many of your patrons and other families will forever miss you!!! :( read more

My 13 year old son ordered Chicken Lula (tasted bad and smelled bad and the rice was wet and tasted bad and the shish kabob as well. We tried calling a little before 9pm but no one answered and no answering machine.
