This was genuinely one of the most awkward and uncomfortable experiences I've ever had at a salon. To start, I accidentally made my appointment at the wrong location that part is completely on me. The naming of the locations is a bit confusing, but regardless, I take responsibility for the mistake. When I arrived, I explained what happened and let them know I was more than willing to simplify my design and go with something basic instead. Although they initially tried to accommodate my original design by checking with multiple nail techs, one technician immediately said no and was very dismissive. I understood and was perfectly fine compromising. These nails are for my baby shower, so of course I was hopeful, but I never expected anything unreasonable. I'm new to the area and thought I would give this place a try. I understand coming here would be a risk as it is with any new salon- it's like playing Russian roulette. My go-to nail salon is out of area and thought I should find something closer. I called asking for a FULL SET, FRENCH TIP- SQARE SHAPE- nothing "fancy" or "difficult", or so I thought. They were able to get me in. I failed to mention I had old acrylics on- two nails were missing the rest were oddly clipped (by me) down to nail length. The problem didn't start until the technician asked if I wanted a FILL? I wish I took pictures because if you would have seen the condition my nails were in ANY technician would have agreed it's a NEW full set. If she would have charged extra for removal- I would have gladly paid as $ was not an issue. She stated she can work with them & it would be a fill- ok, fine. The technician applied the powder and now it was time for shaping. She finished shaping my right hand first and I was completely shocked how each nail looked completely different from the other- I'm thinking there is NO way she thinks this looks ok. I allow a few more minutes to go by because I'm thinking she will go back and fix the shape- the shape was round and NOT square. I ask if she's going to reshape the nails and she said what? No, it's square! We go back and forth about what square looks like, I had to pull out a picture of what square shape nails look like. I finally said I would like you to remove these because I'm not walking out of here with my nails looking like this! And it's pointless to have you continue with this kind of quality of work. She was rough with clipping my nails off to the point it slightly detached from the nail bed. I would give the place zero stars if I could. Completely unprofessional. Clunky design work, no hand massage, no cuticle trim, and the tech intentionally filed the skin around my nails to remove glue or powder. I have several cuts and my fingers are sore. Not worth the price. Edit- updating review to 3 stars for fast response. I heard back from Amy after submitting a contact form and she informed me it is standard at their salon not to include a cuticle trim or massage with a dip manicure. I have had regular dip manicures at other salons and they are included in the service, so that is my fault for not clarifying before what is standard for their dip manicure. I've been going here for years. I feel like I'm giving away my secrets, but getting a pedicure from Laura is like paying for a massage and a pedi all in one stop. Most of the time when I go to a salon for a pedicure, I'm there to relax and enjoy the massage and the various salt scrubs, warm wax, and massage- getting my toes painted is just an extra bonus. I've been coming here for a couple of years on occasion for shellac manicures and pedicures since it's pretty close to my home. The last 3 ish times I have been for a shellac manicure have been horrible. I came in on Thursday night 5/31/2018 for a shellac manicure. It is now Tuesday 6/5 am and this is what my nails look like. (See photos) totally unacceptable for shellac polish. My pointer finger looks like my husband painted it. And three fingers on my right hand have paint over the cuticles. I can't remember what the woman's name was that did my nails- started with an A... but she gossiped the whole time and looked around while painting. I will not be back for shellac manicures. I had high hopes coming here for 2nd time with an appt. Yeah a big NO. Seriously charged my friend, who treated me, for a full spa pedicure and I didn't get it. Added OPI Shine and it was pitted and nail tech didn't put a top coat on it. Friends shellac chipped less than a week later. Tried to get them to fix my mediocre pedicure but language barrier made it super difficult and their lack of giving a care made it pretty much impossible. They were super nice when I got first sat down but it was all downhill from there. Maybe drink a bunch of wine and perhaps you won't care about the mediocre,at best, service. I've been a loyal customer here. I've come in three times, and even brought a long a girlfriend to celebrate my birthday here. Both times I've had Michael and Kim and had excellent service. However, today I had a new lady who had only been there for a week. She was extremely rough with my nails, and scraped my cuticles and left my hands inflamed and in serious pain. She tried taking out the power tools and nicked me a few times. I had to have Michael finish my polish and fix my broken nail. I specifically told them I wanted a polish change, and they insisted I pay for a manicure when they did not give a massage or bother to properly polish my nails. This place should started well and since than has been declining in quality and customer service. There is still a few nice things like a free drink (mimosa, white/red wine etc) per client and you don't have to bring/buy your own file, pumice stone etc, but quality is so low. Out of last 5 times I had a pedicure done there only one time was decent. Nail polish outside nail, badly or not properly cut cuticle, poor scribing etc My last straw was nail tech refusing to give me toes separators (after regular nail polish) and insisting that cotton ball will do the job. I've been coming to this location for the last year or so and have always had a great experience! The atmosphere is relaxing and kept very clean. As a cosmetologist, I am always on the lookout for nail salons that keep their tools and implements sanitary, and this place gets an A+. They offer several beverages including mimosas and are always attentive to clients walking in. I've had my nails done by a couple different nail technicians and they have all done a beautiful job. My favorite, though, is Lynn. She is so sweet and detail oriented! Each time I've seen her she has surpassed my expectations. Yep, been there three times and I run into the same issue. The pedicures were decent BUT every time they paint my toe nails, they smudge HOURS later. The polish takes hours to dry. They apply multiple coats and don't wait for each coat to dry or they use really crappy nail polish. Even if you tell them your toe nails aren't dry, they still send you out, someone else needs your chair. Lesson learned. read more

Really frustrating. I booked for a Deluxe pedi for $50. When I got there, they asked me which scent on the massage cream I wanted - I asked for no scent (smell allergies). They said they can't do the massage without the lotion, or I can pay $10 extra for unscented lotion - HUH? So I said no problem, I would skip the massage, just do the rest. I ended up with just a basic pedi - not the deluxe minus the massage. Just nail trim, callus removal and polish. No scrub, none of the other treatments listed for deluxe that I wanted. I'm kind of confused as to why there have been any poor reviews here. This is the first place I've found in two years since I moved to the west coast that does a consistently great job. I wouldn't recommend this establishment for nail designs, but for a solid gel manicure, it's a 5. I want to like this place more but I struggled with a few key things that rubbed me the wrong way. Let me preface this with I'm a licensed nail tech myself and decided to try this new location on a whim. First the good: They offer tea or water during your service. They offer a heated neck wrap. The color selection is pretty good. They called me by name This salon is pretty much like most nail salons, nothing that sets them apart or makes them super unique. Now for my issues: I had the owner/manager "Jennifer" who did great work however her constant talking to the other gals, the stopping every few minutes to look at her clip board, and her obvious attention to everything going on but me made this pedicure anything but relaxing. You are so rude for talking in your native language non stop and not giving me the full salon experience I paid for. Highly disappointed. She did not do a base coat or top coat. I had to ask her for a top coat on my big toes to cover the flower she did. She kept the toe separater and put it in a drawer (the same drawer where clean supplies were kept) first of all those are disposable. Second of all by simply throwing them in the drawer she's now contaminated everything in that drawer by state regulation. Lastly, they don't accept credit/debit but conveniently have an atm...That's sketchy in my opinion. At the very least they could have square but nope! That's extremely inconvenient. My final options: I won't be back until after a state health inspection. The salon is average. After she finished my pedicure and I was drying she started another pedicure. A few minutes into it she came back to me to do the top coat and put on the flip flops and she kept on the same pair of gloves! ! So she touched some strangers feet and then mine and then went back to the gal with the same pair on! SO GROSS. If one of us had a fungus or bacteria, hello transfer! read more

So I scheduled an appointment today to get sns acrylics & the lady that did it put SIX COATS of powder on my nails. Therefore, my nails were obviously super thick so when I asked her to drill them down she ignored me the first time so I had to keep repeating myself. It took her TWO HOURS to do them & when she had another appointment come in she let another lady take over me. So I told that lady that I wanted them drilled down & she kept interrupting me saying "ok ok ok" Not only that, she put the powder on my fingers rather than just my nails.
