Kathy is amazing. My sister and are are extremely difficult to fit. Most stores don't carry our sizes. My friend recommended Kathy to me. I've been meaning to write this review for a long time. Kathy is truly amazing and has always helped me find the best bras. I live in Berkeley, CA and always wait to get a new bra when I come to town to visit my family. I'm very picky about how my bras fit, and it's very important to me to feel comfortable while someone is helping me try on bras. Kathy is always so kind and patient with me, and I feel very comfortable with her. It feels like I'm going to a girlfriends house when I go there. My Mom brought me here to usher me out of my broke college kid cheap bra stage and into something that actually fits. Kathleen sized me up, I vowed to throw out my old, sad looking Victoria's Secret bra, and never looked back. She brought out so many styles and colors to help find what fit ME best. Her selection is incredible and she talked me though all of the different options I had to choose from. After almost a week, my back feels better and my confidence is boosted. After I left this store I wanted to stop every single woman I saw and tell her to go there. This lady seriously knows her boobs! I am very busty (38H) and have never gotten a proper fitting in my life. She took one look at me and came back with the best fitting bra I've ever had on the first try. No measuring either! I should also mention this is certainly plus size friendly! I think she said she carries up to a 54M. So no Victoria's Secret stick figure only crap here. She carries ALL sizes. This is not like your traditional department store fitting at all, so leave your modesty at home because she will see every inch of your chest and really show you how to get the proper fit. Every woman needs to see her, but especially if your breasts are larger than average. This will completely change your appearance and no more messing with poor fitting bras. Also be prepared for the price. These bras are not cheap (I spent $310 for 3 bras) but they are high quality, beautiful, and well worth the money. I simply cannot say enough positive things about this boutique. I wish I had discovered it years ago. I honestly see no reason to ever go anywhere else. Been here a few times now. The first time was to shop for a bra for my wedding and then the second time for normal bras, and third for sports bras. The bras are really well made and so comfortable. The owner of the store is super sweet and she really knows her stuff. I had the best experience getting fitted for a bra with her. As someone that has been a loyal Nordstrom customer for years, without hesitation this place is even better! She has all kinds of styles for different body types. I felt no judgement from her either. Wow - what a wonderful experience I had this morning with Kathy at La Bellissima - I went in looking for the right type of bra for my upcoming wedding. She spent an hour with me educating me, helping me try on different bra types with my wedding dress and educating me to all things lingerie. She was delightful! I just had the best experience. First time bra fitting, and was shocked to find out I was NOT a 36C. The owner took a lot of time with me, sizing AND showing me how to properly put a bra on. I've been doing it wrong for a LONG time! I purchased two bras, both with underwires, that I can wear comfortably, all day, and they stay in place. Really looking forward to my next visit! read more

Worst experience. Was sold $150 bra. Did not fit properly. Gave it back to get altered no one could give me an answer when I could get it back. Rude owner. I would NEVER, EVER return to this shop... even if you paid me. Their products are cheap and incredibly overpriced (over $120 for one bra). When I informed the saleswoman the type of bra I was looking for, she belittled me and gave me attitude. When I agreed to have a fitting, she said, "Well, we will need to make this quick considering we are closing in 55 minutes." I called five times during the day and there was no answer. I left a voice message and did not hear back from an employee. Their website is outdated and provides minimal information regarding available products. I drove over an hour, which was a COMPLETE waste of time. As I was trying on bras, the curtain was open for a majority of the fitting and I did not have any privacy. The employee was degrading other businesses insisting that "they just want to make a sale" versus actually listening to their customers needs. Quite ironic - I was continuously repeating that I was displeased with the lines that were appearing in the bras at La Bellissima, how tight the material felt across my skin, and the discomfort I was experiencing. When I remarked that I was uninterested in purchasing the bras because they were all showing through my clothes and not fitting properly, the same saleswoman who mocked the retail companies for having zero experience with properly fitting someone for a bra and wanting to make a sale was harping on ME to consider purchasing the bra regardless of the lines - saying someone with my bust size should not be so picky because I do not have options and disregarded my initial comment that I would never wear them because it was appearing through three layers of clothes! During a bra fitting, most employees would NEVER touch a customer's breasts... I have been to Nordstrom, Soma, Betty Schwartz's, Victoria Secret, and so forth... they allow you to turn around and do not put their hands in your bra while making contact with your skin. They advise you with THEIR WORDS NOT THEIR HANDS in order to help you wear the bra properly. At this store, they invaded my personal space, touched me without warning, and did not allow me to turn around in privacy before they took off the bra (still, with the curtain open). As I was walking out, I overheard the employee whispering about me to her boss. The employee's blatant disrespect and lack of professionalism was tasteless, INCREDIBLY inappropriate, judgmental, demeaning, and atrocious. I have been bra shopping for over 21 years and I have never experienced this sort of treatment in my life. SPEND YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE AND DON'T WASTE A BREATH STEPPING FOOT INTO THIS AWFUL SHOP!!!! I would give this shop a zero if it were an option. Bra shopping can be an overwhelming, negative, and nerve-wracking experience for a woman. It is SO important to feel heard, taken care of, and respected.
