Basil Chicken Panini Thai Style Fire Chicken with Rice and Big Dill Dressing Cup

I joined my friends yesterday for lunch and it's crazy is I don't live far from this place at all. I will also say that I have never been to this location ever. It definitely appears to be a staple piece in the Land Park area. It felt more of a true neighborhood place to be if anything. I had the basil pesto chicken sandwich and spicy Thai chicken with rice soup combo. I also got a side deal with two pieces of that delicious baguette bread and a pink lemonade and Sprite mix drink. You have to try it if you haven't it is delicious the time of day that my friends and I came to this restaurant, was about lunchtime we got served fairly quickly, considering there was a crowd. Our food was delicious. I could tell by the various items my friends and I had we had all a little bit of everything. But hands-down, you know about that deal dip and bread then you know why La Bou is so popular! The ambience gives a more lunch counter type of environment, but it's a friendly, welcoming one. I would definitely come back again.

Now this is how I remember La Bou.. Same fresh pastries, especially their various croissants. Same delicious salads like their popular Chinese chicken salad and Asian noodle salad. My decaf iced latte was absolutely perfect and kept me going all day. The cafe employees are helpful with smiles, and my order was ready in less than 5 minutes. I probably just missed the morning golf rush as a lot of the seating was occupied. No problem since I was off to work with my bag of goodies. Thank you for maintaining an incredible cafe with all your classic favorites!

I use to come here frequently for the Chinese Chicken Salad. Today I ordered the ham and cheese croissant, it was $6. It was light on the ham I expected more for the price. The croissant itself was good in taste, the baker took pride in the appearance, looks perfect. There is a place nearby that charges $6 and has double the ham. Customer service Staff friendly Ambiance Place is clean and chill place to get coffee drinks.

The staff was very pleasant and the restaurant was well kept. This time got the asian noodle salad with a side of dill dressing to dip my bread. Salad was great, prepared it fresh in the back as they ran out during the lunch rush. The dill dreasing was a bit watered down today. Not sure what happened there.

Was so so so sad that they've changed the chicken salad recipe. The diced chicken doesn't come close.

They have a parking lot but it's shared with other businesses and always seems to be full, however there's a good amount of street parking and I found a spot closeby no problem. When I walked in it was a lot bigger than I expected and they had a good amount of seating. There wasn't a line when I arrived, but that quickly changed after I placed my order and I feel like there was a steady stream of customers the whole time I was there. I was welcomed in and when I let them know it was my first time they recommended some items for me. I'm not a matcha fan, so I was more interested in trying their coffee. I ordered their date orange latte ($7), the twice hojicha ($7.50), and their simple avocado toast ($9). I had heard hojicha is a less grassy, more earthy/toasty version of matcha so I was excited to give it a try and see if I liked it more than matcha. Good news! Hojicha, at least the twice hojicha from Offbeat was delicious. I enjoyed the taste of tea and the aftertaste that matcha usually has for me wasn't there. I would 100% order this again. The date orange latte (iced) was also delicious and the flavors were perfect for our warm weather. The simple avocado toast had a thick piece of fresh baked bread with a generous layer of avocado on top. I don't frequently order avocado toast but it paired well with the drinks and is a great meal to start the day. I can see why this is a favorite for so many people and now that I've finally been in, I'll be back for more!

Pretty solid coffee place in Sacramento…read more Came here after lunch and the line seemed long but in actuality they just asked for customers to wait at the entrance when the line inside gets to a certain point. My lady and I ordered their BSL and Saigon Coffee. We were told it was their last day to get the BSL and it seemed hyped up so we gave it a try. It was not too bad! It was mainly a Matcha with banana syrup and little additions, I feel as if it was a little too overhyped. Their Saigon Coffee was a little lacking in coffee flavor & strength for my personal liking but it wasn't too bad! This place is definitely a solid Coffee shop in Sacramento for sure.

Though I ordered pretty standard cafe fare, this cafe has much more to offer. There was a variety of cakes available as well as savory sandwiches, and wraps. So it doesn't matter if you're in the mood for something sweeter or savory - they have plenty of both to choose from. Seating is both inside and outside with plenty of room. It's no wonder why this place is such highly rated!

A cute outside patio and plenty of room to sit inside. I got the Pink Chai and my friend and i took our drinks to a park down the street which really set the scene: spring day in the park with a friend and a great beverage. The drink was very hot, which ended up being perfect because I had to enjoy it slowly. The flavor profile was subtle and well balanced, not overpowering or too sweet. I'm a big fan of cardamom and pistachio, so getting both in one drink felt like a win, and they worked beautifully together. The pistachio added a nice, nutty finish. I don't distinctly remember tasting the fennel, but it may have been part of what made the overall flavor feel so smooth. I guess I'll just have to come back and order it again. All in all, Qisa was a treat. Im planning on moving in a few months and started looking at apartment listings near by that would allow me to come to Qisa more often. Highly recommend!
