Stopped by this coffee and bakery spot in Sacramento and had such a great experience. The atmosphere is warm, clean, and really inviting . Perfect if you want to sit, relax, or catch up with someone. The coffee was smooth and well made, and the pastries tasted fresh and high quality. I also liked that they have a dog-friendly patio, which makes it even better if you want to bring your pup and enjoy some time outside. Ordering was super easy too You can place your order on a tablet inside, which makes everything quick and convenient. What really stood out to me was the overall vibe. It feels like a place you can come back to regularly, whether it's for a quick coffee or to spend some time unwinding. The staff was friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better.

Black Sesame Kouign Amann Latte and ham and Swiss croissant

Love this bakery! Large space indoor and outdoor. I'm usually an iced coffee girly but the Black Sesame Kouign Amann Latte that only comes hot is to DIE FOR! It's amazing, deff a must try. It's so good I came back literally the next day to drink it again but this time in a mug. The lattes are so gorgeous and the ham and Swiss has Dijon in it, with soft inside and crispy outside. The people who work here are all so lovely and the space is inviting, and clean bathrooms. Plenty of parking to find along the streets and lots to look at in the area within walking distance. A place that will quickly become part of your rotation once you visit!

The ambiance the bread and the drinks were perfect. Came here spontaneously on thursday morning and it was not very busy. I got a mocha which was delicious. I also ordered a pork floss bun, ham and cheese croissant, and almond crossiant. I was not planning on staying to eat my pastries but when I felt that the pork floss bun was still warm I sat down to enjoy it! It was amazing. Will be back to try the miso loaf!

We came here twice over the last 2 weeks. we love their lattes and pastries. The place is spacious and has lots of tables. We ordered their Cherry mocha, black sesame latte, mocha, cortado, cookies, canelle, bun, smoked salmon with bread, cakes, etc. They are all delicious. The latte is smooth and came out with beautiful latte art. You can request less sweet. The place is easy to order through their tablet. And the staff are efficient in getting the orders fast.

    Ham and Swiss croissant: $10.25

I'm heartbroken to say this, but unless something changes I won't be returning to Faria. We have loved Faria, the quality was incredible and the prices we reasonable, so we went almost every week when we moved to Oak Park a few years ago. As time went by they increase the price but the quality was comparable so we continued to go, albeit less frequently, because we recognized that prices are increasing on everything. Unfortunately within the last year the quality has been slipping as well which was frustrating, but I figured maybe it was growing pains since they moved into the lovely and spacious new location, but today was our final straw. We ordered take out when I opened the box I was really disappointed and I hadn't ordered take out there's no way I would have accepted the product, as just from the size alone it wasn't worth the cost. The ham and swiss croissant which costs $10.25 has been reduced to a mere 2 inches wide and the pain au chocolat which costs $6 has been reduced by at least an inch as well. We would have gone in to ask for a return or exchange but they are adamant on the website that they don't accept returns so we totally lacked confidence that they would make it right. We decided to eat the croissants we purchased and were disappointed to notice that the quality has fallen even more. What used to be an incredible croissant is now hardly distinguishable from one you'd get from a coffee shop. If you get food from Faria, at least go in person so you can see if what you're getting is worth the cost.

I can see the love of bread here. Their ultimate deliciousness of their baked goodness comes through once you sink your teeth into their almond croissant, peach & lavender croissant cup, canele, sugary morning bun...awww do I need to go on? It was our very first time visiting this bakery & most likely not our the last. My wife was chitchatting with the lady in front of her in line curious as to what she was going to order? Come to find out she convinced my wife to buy that peach & lavender croissant cup which was the supreme item that day in the bakery case! They did have savory baked items too plus the morning bun which she have had at Camellia coffee. Now that sugary bun was way too sweet for her & hurt her teeth which was the original reason why we hadn't visited here earlier. She didn't have that issue at all with the other pastries. Go figure. We now understand the long lines here waiting to purchase those most tasty treats. Our iced coffee & iced tea were just average & nothing special but that would not deter us for not returning to the storefront again. Service & ambiance was good. Parking could be a challenge. They did have little outdoor patio seating as well as little indoor seating inside. Their storefront is skewed inside so it makes for awkward seating. But you can always take your goodies to go. Our disappointment was we just didn't buy enough! Ok that peach & lavender croissant cup is calling us!!! It was such a pleasant surprise unlike something we never had before. A must repeat. No wonder that other female customer was there in line for it!!! Not surprised Faria Bakery is at Midtown Farmers market & now a brick & mortar location in Folsom! Lucky them! Now why are they not in Elk Grove??? We are waiting!!!

The almond croissant looked good, but it was too well done. I was expecting a flaky crust with a soft and chewy center, but the entire croissant was hard. It was like eating a cracker. The middle was filled with a sweet almond spread. I tried to like it, but I was disappointed. 6/10.

First time to the new location and it is fantastic having so much more room for people to sit, stay and enjoy(e). Our favorite bakery in the entire country, an be sure to sit down and try their a Turkish Eggs and McEgg for fantastic brunch items, then load up on pastries to take home. If you're geeks like us, get a to-go coffee and sit out front, watching the bakers at work through the window before you leave.

Visited their popup at the midtown farmers market. Always heard of them and wanted to try. I tried the morning bun and black sesame kouign amann and the morning bun. Total was 12$. Bakeries are lwk expensive sadly, but i would buy it again. The kouignn amann was soo good, not too much black sesame flavor but it was buttery and sweet and still very crisp after a couple hours i wish i bought more lols. Similarly the morning bun was still fresh and crisp, the filling was suppper cinnamony lol but still good.

Amazing margarita pizza Fresh basil Lemonade matcha is yummy $13 Thursdays Cool relaxing vibe

The product is genuinely excellent. But the Oak Park location has a service culture problem. Staff prioritize rule enforcement over customer experience, yesterday a customer was snapped at for politely pointing out a dead POS device. I reached out to ownership directly before posting publicly. The response was a passive aggressive link suggesting I take my business to Moonbelly bakery. So I will, and I'll let others know why. Owner doesn't want your feedback or your return business. Service culture flows from the top.

Faria is a new must when I'm in Sacramento! Came by for a team breakfast and I loved the Turkish Eggs! Such a beautiful mix of flavors. I loved the spiced yogurt-base and consistency of the sunny-side eggs. The baguette was nice and crispy. It came highly suggested by the staff and I couldn't disagree. The bakery is also beautiful with great lighting and tiled table tops. Hoping to buy from the bakery on my next trip!

The Italian roots and flavor are everywhere in the walls in decorations and antiques and the service. The deli was super busy and we had to wait a bit even though we ordered online but that is worth the wait. We came like at 3pm so can't imagine this place during lunch. Packed with people and the variety, freshness and quality is impressive. I had an egg sandwich....i know a little weird but it was delicious in a Dutch crunch. Bread was crunchy but soft just perfect. Wife had an Italian sandwich which was so full of meat and peoperocinis and other stuff she could only eat half. My daughter and husband shared a chicken parm sandwich and the Corti special which you pick bread and veggies and they put whatever meat they want. Kids loved their sandwiches and next time I am in Sac area I will definitely get the parm sandwich which was delicious. Very cool place and excellent service and the cost of the sandwiches???? They have a decent number of cash register stations taking orders. They have an extremely large menu. I counted 18 different Banh mi variations, and lots of other things For my starter, I wanted to try the. Pate chaud, which is pate in a puff pastry, but unfortunately, they were out. Instead, I got a mini steamed bao bun, with fried chicken in the middle. For my banh mi, I ordered the egg, sausage, and pork loaf, but instead, I got the grilled pork and egg. I'm not going to take off any stars or anything, because hey, misunderstandings happen, and it was still an amazing sandwich. They gave me a number, and it was a short wait for my sandwich. Between the registers and the people making the sandwiches in back, it's like an assembly line operation. They are quick, and the prices are extremely reasonable. The sandwich was very large, The bread was still warm. I took the sandwich home, but I ate the bao bun on the way home. It was very good. The bun had a good consistency, and the chicken was excellent. Seasoned well, just the right amount of breading, and tender on the inside. When I got the banh mi home, that's when I discovered the mixup. But I enjoyed it just as much. The egg was fluffy, and the pork was excellent. . It was a little bit sweet, like a Char siu. The pork was also very tender. The veggies were fresh. There was generous Portions. I was only going to eat half, but it was so good, I ended up eating the whole thing. I will definitely be back when I'm in South sac. Heck, that sandwich was so good, I would drive down from Rancho, just to get one. Thanks!

Were these chips hand-carved by artisans somewhere? Blessed by monks in the moonlight? I'm genuinely curious. The bun, however, was enormous, so the overall experience was like eating a fluffy bread pillow with a whisper of sandwich somewhere in the middle. They open at noon instead of being open when I was ready after church My husband and I walked up a couple blocks, looked at all the different restaurants, and I've seen this sandwich spot many times, but I've never tried it My husband said it was catered at his work one time, but it was the cold cuts and he said he liked it However, I walked in like the inside it was clean. I needed to use the restroom. The only thing I would say is the music in there is extremely loud in the bathroom that is. They only have one restroom, so hopefully you don't go with the group of people and everybody needs to use the restroom at once For both of us to eat it was about $30. I did get chips and a soda with mine. My husband just got the sandwich I got the. "The Damon Bruce" holy moly. This was so delicious. I only eat 1/2 brought the other half home. My brother was here and he ate it and he said it was so good too so it comes with onion ring steak and they ask you if you want to put any vegetable vegetables in there so I added the tomato the lettuce and I also wanted red onion in it. Let me tell you this is my new favorite sandwich place. I'm a little bummed that there's not one in Natomas! However, I'm really glad to know this place exist.. My husband got a steak sandwich. I don't know the name of it. He said he has never had a hot sandwich before and it was so good. He doesn't give vegetables and stuff, but he did get jalapeños in his and I seen him scarf it down so he must've loved it. They got barbecue chips ate a few of them. Their bags are a little bit different, but it was good. They didn't have root beer for soda that's my only downfall. It's one of my favorite drinks however I shouldn't be drinking soda anyways, but I did have Pepsi. This made for a great afternoon after church and I will make this one of my regular stops every month The only thing that was negative was the music being too loud in the bathroom and the girl that handed me the bag of the food, but I've learned that teenagers young people these days they are not like we used to be when we were young so it's kind of like just a handoff and I don't wanna say it was rude because I think this is just how teenagers are these days. 10/10 say you must try!

For starters, Ike's has its own way of doing things: plain mayo is not their thing. Only way to get plain mayo on a sandwich is to get lucky that there's a smidgen still left in a jar in the fridge after they prepare their house spread. They mix GARLIC and gawd knows what else for spices to make their Ike's sauce, so allergies beware. They offer plain mustard, but not plain mayo? For seconds, the sandwich bread is not up to the challenge of holding together the mountain of fillings inside. Pics prove my point. I want to eat a sandwich with my hands, not a plastic fork (or a shovel). And I don't want to wear it, not in public. Proportions, people! One size does not fit all. Now, in fairness, the meat, cheese, lettuce and tomato were fresh, chilled, and flavorful. However, IMHO $2.00+ to add equivalent of half an avocado is robbery when a whole avocado is $1 in the market. Fortunately I arrived when there wasn't another person in the store so I was able order up a plain ham and cheese sub with L, T, and A. The counter person was patient as I attempted to navigate the menu board. I communicated my wish for a simple sandwich and it arrived, albeit ridiculously overstuffed and above my budget expectations. Props for kindness and understanding. My first visit to any shop is always testing how well they do basics. So far, I'm not an Ike's fan. I'm no newcomer to sub sandwiches. At 82, and being a Massachusetts native, I've been a sub girl for at least 75 years, ever since I could wrap my fingers around the perfect sub roll.
