Great Christmas ambiance, super close to the louvre especially if you come up via the Carrousel mall. It's in the hotel but an external entry. The food was good and clean French style. We were not expecting anything near a tourist spot to be great but it was. We were lucky we got in around 1pm without reservations but by the time we left it was packed. I do recommend reservations if you can. Also the service was nice and all spoke English. The highlight was their fish that was buttery but clean white fish.

We had an average meal here. The restaurant is no longer associated with the Bocuse name. A friend had recommended it so we tried it even though we had reservations about a hotel restaurant. It turned out our fears were correct. Nothing really stood out. The food was expensive for what we received. I'm fine with spending a lot on high end food but this was just average/ decent food. I guess for convenience sake if you don't want to trouble with finding a restaurant outside of the hotel and don't mind spending hotel prices on a restaurant it's fine in a pinch. Just know what you're getting into. We had the onion soup, scallops with a risotto, beef tartare, and a sea urchin whipped appetizer with blinis. The room is comfortable and service was fine.

This traditional French restaurant located close to the Louvre in Paris, France had a lovely atmosphere with both indoor and outdoor seating. We sat inside with a nice view. We shared the French Onion Soup to start, then the Escargot. I had the Sea Bass entree and then we shared the Crème Brûlée for dessert. Everything was delicious. The service was very nice.

Service was excellent! First night dining in Paris and our server was super sweet. Loved the classic brasserie ambiance/lighting. My husband said this was one of his best meals in Paris. The soup was delicious and a meal in itself. Fries were very good. Burger was huge. Overall a great meal and would recommend. Loved the crème brûlée too.

A "Paul Bocuse" brasserie inside Hyatt's Hotel du Louvre, La Brasserie du Louvre is nothing more than a good hotel restaurant. Chef Bocuse would not be pleased if he were alive today (he had sadly passed well before it opened), so they are simply using his name in what must be a licensing deal with his estate. Otherwise the food and service are mediocre.

The onion soup was so good!!

We stopped in for a bite after we visited the Louvre. This was our 2nd day in Paris. We arrived just before noon and got a table right away before the lunch crowds. It's a lovely sophisticated restaurant with a warm atmosphere and the staff were friendly and professional and offered recommendations when we asked. We both had the onion soup which was the best we had. It was a big portion and very filling so after we settled on cappuccino and dessert! Both were amazing. We highly recommend.

Lovely experience here as the service was good and server was really nice that she could speak english well. A lot of new experience of food that i have never tried before so it was interesting. I would come back here again for some other of its food because they have lots of that i have never tried before in my life such as the veal liver. Cheers! Recommended from me!

It was on my Paris hit list as the iconic Paul Bocuse is part of this restaurant. This is a decent restaurant surrounded by other decent restaurants. I had the foie gras with pear chutney, which was paired with Veuve Clicquot champagne. The chutney is an acquired taste. My main dish is pike fish in homendine sauce with Sancerre white wine. Both dishes were good with the wine pairing as bonus. Didn't have room for dessert.

C'est très bien! We stopped here because of the Paul Bocuse connection and weren't disappointed! The French onion soup was so flavorful and the service was top notch. Will definitely eat here again on our next visit to Paris.

We were staying at this hotel so ate breakfast here in the mornings which was plentiful and delicious. Service staff are well trained and excellent as well. We had dinner first night of arrival and found the food to be very good. Best item was the amazing ceviche we had in the bar next door (shared kitchen with brasserie) after we had our drink and ceviche, we moved over to the restaurant for dinner. Shared the escargot, foie gras terrine and steak tartar with salad and frites. All very good. Plus a house red which was fine to go with it. Service was great at dinner as well. Portions very generous, plenty of bread and olives to pick on while you wait.

The richness of the flavor and the texture which is not reminiscent of the traditional roasted duck or foie gras, but rather a much more like a luxurious and indulgent version. We enjoyed our dinner on the outside of the restaurant after about a 20-30 minute wait. The bone marrow had the best flavor I've experienced for the dish. However, it is definitely overshadowed by the rich flavor of the foie gras. This experience was unforgettable, with our view of Parisian streets on a brisk, April night. We even came back on our last night, but didn't realize the hours on Google maps was for the deli. The restaurant closes earlier, before 9:00 PM. This meal got us thinking about Paris in a positive light, and we hope to be able to come back to eat the amazing dishes again!

As a Chinese, I understood more than 50% of the conservations (Chinese). Which doesn't mean anything about the food. Just observation. Onion soup - 2 stars. First, the cheese failed to emit the baked, melted gruyere cheese, there is no aroma at all. I don't think they used gruyere cheese. May be mozzarella cheese. The worst part was the bread in the soup. It tasted stale which ruin the flavor of the soup. I had to finish without the bread. Escargot - Another disappointment. What made escargots special was the garlic butter and herb. Here, there were the herbs, no garlic, and French is famous with their butter but I taste oil but not buttery. Other places I actually get excited dipping the bread into the garlic butter but not here. Pan seared Foie gras - The quality of Foie Gras was definitely there. It's not as well seared as I hope but they managed to cook it through without overcooking it. The size of Foie Gras is kind of scary, it's like a small piece of rib eye steak. With just the onion soup and Foie Gras, I could barely swallow anything. Generous portion.

Luca Recommended a meal with a mashed potatoes and sausage with French bread and salad and it sounded tasty so I gave it a go! All the flavors went well together; mashed potatoes were well seasoned the sausage had a good flavor, and the salad with the vinaigrette added a crunch in an extra flavor as well. I drank a French hard cider while I gobbled up my meal, which also was new for me and tasted great after I was done my meal. The restaurant itself isn't small, but really not big, so it's definitely worthwhile to make a reservation at least a week or so on advance, otherwise you're pushing your luck. Everyone ordered steak frites (2 rump steak, 2 flank) and no one was disappointed. Steaks were cooked to order, although medium here in France is more like medium rare in the States, just be advised. The restaurant itself is lively and fun with lots of chatting, laughing and good times being shared. Desserts were Crème Brûlée and Apple Crumble, neither of which were disappointing. We definitely enjoyed our dinner and would likely return again. This time with a reservation made well in advance.

I decided to stick with the house specialty; Landais Au Gratin (cream potatoes, duck breast and emmental cheese). The 2 German girls beside me ordered a cider with both their meals so I followed their lead. When in Paris...... Considering the temperature, I almost second-guess myself and ordered something other than their house specialty of au gratin potatoes. In the end, I was very glad I overruled that thought. Brody enjoyed his meal. He just appeared to still be hungry when it was done and a 16 year-old boy that normally has a high caloric intake, I can understand why he wanted a second meal after eating his first! The restaurant in the patio were quite crowded even though we had reservations. They still sat us within five minutes of arrival. Not that five minutes is a long time to wait, but it was still worth the wait as good as the food tasted. We both enjoyed our meals.

He got even more snippy and rude when we declined to have wine or dessert, when we tried to ask any questions about the menu, even walking away from us while we were in the middle of speaking or asking a question. When he brought us food or drinks he nearly dropped it on the table and quickly sped off. Some other servers seemed nice to other guests, so maybe we got one on a bad day but still we felt really upset and uncomfortable with how we were treated, there is no reason for anyone in the service industry to be so rude especially when we were being so polite. You also get blocked into your seat, and are very close to other guests which is fine but you have to call the waiter to pull your table back out to get up or to go to your seat- to which they begrudgingly do so. The beef bourguignon was tasty, but we did not like how both my and my friend's order were brought in the same pot. This resulted in us having maybe 3 tiny potatoes each and not near as much meat as we hoped for. We were expecting to each have our own dish. This was certainly not worth the 36€ per person price point (nearly $80 USD for the one pot of food), and we left the restaurant still hungry and extremely upset and disappointed by the service. Overall I would not return or recommend.
