Itzel is a rude chashier at the this restaurant but lord Jesus has the worst attitude and worst customer service. She rolls her eyes at you and is rude. And let me not tell she's sweeps over you while your eating.it's not the fist bad encounter I have with her but will be definitely be my last. I love the food but unfortunately it's not worth putting up with her attitude so this will be the last time I show up here. This place is the bees knees. Came for the first time and I had a shrimp burrito and my friend got a shrimp cocktail. Both were delicious. The shrimp burrito was my favorite. Definitely a very yummy burrito. And I recommend you ask for red salsa on the side. It is really good. Also the horchata here is really bomb. The food here is DELICIOUS! Only reason why I'm giving this place 3 stars is because the past 4 times I've gone they have gotten my order wrong. But they do a good job on making my order right when I tell them they screwed up the first time. But other than that this place is too good to stop coming here. UPDATE: My husband got fed up on them constantly MESSING UP Our Orders. It was back to back at least 5 times. We get they tend to get busy but at least pay attention to what your suppose to be doing. I don't know what happened to this place during the 4 years since I've been here, but it wasn't for the better in terms of food. On the plus side, they did a remodel inside and changed the name by adding the phrase "Baja Grill", but the food is definitely NOT better. I ordered the fish tacos and immediately noticed that the fish portion was smaller than it used to be, and the corn tortillas were subpar. For fish tacos, just go to Taco Nazo. read more

I used to love this place. They made it through the hard times of the pandemic and I supported them regularly. But I stopped loving them today. They weren't that busy. I placed my order and waited as usual. When my my name was called, the counter person asked if I would like red or green sauce. I asked for both since my order was for two people. She glared it me and said "OK this time, but next time I'll charge you extra $.25." And she was just mean about it! I get it. These are hard times. People still aren't back to work and there are lots of issues in running a fast food place these days. BUT, the quality has completely deteriorated. My fish taco had just a little sliver of fish in it, it was mostly breading which was overcooked and hard to chew. This is not the first time it's been this way. I guess that's they're new style of fish taco. I can put up with alot for something I love, and I used to love the fish tacos here, but no longer. The street tacos are still good, but I will travel to the El Monte shop from now, because I don't want to get my head bitten off by the wait staff. What do you really do when the order's for two people? They have to share one tiny salsa? Ridiculous!! But I'll gladly pay for the extra salsa anyway because I know times are tough. I think because we came when they were closing that's why they don't really make our foods right. We ordered the potato tacos, baja fries, and a beef burrito. The potato tacos is kinda bland. Any fisherman will tell you that sometiems you just get lucky. I guess the same holds true for fish taco eaters when they happen to show up and find out that a place has a Wednesday special-- 99 cent fish tacos. So, of course, that's what I ordered, as did pretty much every other customer I saw while I was in there. During a busy lunch, they seem to mass produce them, but since the lines are moving they are served warm. The breading on the fish was a little chewy for my liking, but these were still pretty good. The sauce was good, but there was a scad too much. Next time I think i will ask for it on the side. The cilantro and cabbage was fresh and crispy. I was surprised there were not any limes at the salsa bar. They did have lemon wedges though. The cheap price was mitigated by the fact the place was crowded enough that you had to make room for people at the next table to get in and out (and they had to do the same for us). One pet peeve, the same person who takes your order at the counter also takes the phone orders. Once I got to the front of the line I had to stand there while she handled three phone calls. Found this place almost by accident, because I was going next door to the ice cream/ donut shop, but once I saw the food pictures & all from the window I couldn't resist lol. So I decided to try it out since I'm a big Mexican seafood kinda guy ;) I've gone back twice already & there's a reason why for it. I've tried their shrimp tostada & shrimp tacos so far & dam are they good! Talk about fire!!! Good size proportions for your money along with good pricing. Shrimp has a good flavor to it & there pico de gallo is delicious. They even have a little bar with several salsas to choose from with some red onions & limes. Wow they make an amazing fish taco. I do like Senor Fish or Taco Nazo however Tacos La Bufadora has a bit of an edge over the two, Why because their fish is crispier and IMO seems to taste a bit better. I do like a thickly battered crust on my fish!! The fish tacos are a special on Wednesday and Sundays ;) I also really enjoy the steamed/ grilled peppers that they offer so good!!! read more
