The service was great. There was a woman packing meals and getting things ready, and was so pleasant. She was asking if I needed anything, prior to me leaving to compliment the good-salsa's, lemons, etc.. Don't judge the place by the outside, slow down and make a stop. Garbage. The woman working the register has the worst attitude. She tried to over charge me for something that cost 2.50$ then she had an attitude because I asked her what she was charging me for. I ordered the taquitos plate and was very disappointed. This establishment has 4 stars so I figured it must be good!! Wrong!! The taquitos are frozen, not made fresh at all!! Been wanting to support this small business since they were under construction. Food was fresh and hot. Fernando (the owner) is very attentive and friendly when it comes to customer service here. There is a lot of space to eat in here so bring all ur family members. The Camerones a la díabla were pretty good, the amount of shrimp is not skimpy at all so I like that. It's not spicy at all, I was expecting a little spice but for me I give it a 5/10 on spice level. The al pastor burrito was very filling and delicous I would say. Most of my experiences with this restaurant was before they closed down for necessary maintenance which over a year ago. The tacos here are top notch along with their salsas. They make their food well and efficiently. They are very pleasant in taking your order. My favorite is their fish tacos, done Baja (or Ensenada) style. I have a Mexican restaurant within several feet away from where I live but the food made at Taco Tapatio is superior to that restaurant. It's a block and a half away but definitely worth it.
