    Breakfast burrito (Bacon)

This was my first time here, and it was an outstanding experience! From what I gathered, it seems to be a family-owned, husband-and-wife-run business (apologies if I'm mistaken), and you can truly feel the care they put into both the food and service. The hospitality was exceptional, and the food was just as impressive. I decided to visit based on the great reviews, and I'm so glad I did! The atmosphere has that charming, mom-and-pop feel, tucked in a mini mall with plenty of parking--plus street parking if needed. Highly recommend giving this place a try!

Went to breakfast this morning looking for good menudo. Well I was not disappointed. The soup was delicious, the hominy was soft (coulda used a little more) and they offered pata. Also hand made tortillas made it the perfect meal. I'd recommend this lite place and will definitely be back!! My friend had the egg and cheese omelette she liked it as well!!

My niece told me to try this place. So goo for here. OMG new spot

First of all yumm. If you are into Menudo. Best in Azusa. Clean clean clean. Every time I need a menudo fix.... They are ready for me.

Bomb! I got a breakfast burrito with peppers, bacon, egg, beans, pico de gallo, and salsa. With a horchata. Would definitely come back and try more items. But the tortilla and the beans were so delicious. Really hit the spot and field me up for a heavy leg workout. Parking in front, to-go and dine-in, sweet employees

Food is great very friendly people and amazing service. 10/10 recommend. Been coming here for 4 years never disappointed.

Everyone was friendly, very attentive and courteous. The food was fine. I can't say it was the most delicious I've ever had but it wasn't bad. I had a Spanish omelette, which was basically an egg omelette stuffed with chorizo and topped with pico, cheese and avocado. It was served with a side of hash browns. I ate it, but I wouldn't order it again. My husband had the red chilaquiles. He felt the same. It was fine, but not the best he's ever had. I might return and try a few other things, not sure though.

This place is amazing cannot believe no reviews in over 1 yr. I had to come pick up an item at the nearby Costco and decided I needed my Mexican fix. This did the job I ordered the Chile verde burrito $8.99 wet extra with verde the huge size could easily by shared but the meat was done to perfection with rice beans inside it weighed over 2 lbs. my hubby ordered the pescado burrito with red sauce equally large but I have to be honest mine was better more flavor. Employee super friendly love these little authentic places that I stumble across. 2 thumbs up

Special #1. It was really good and the spicy salsa was perfect on my eggs and hash browns. I will come back.

After removing the thick layer of fat before warming on stove

Bought an order of albondigas and rice yesterday since it was a cold day. The place is small and clean. The order came with a side of tortillas, I chose flour they were ok. As soon as I got home to "enjoy" them I was really disappointed with the quality and smell- like a bitter smell I can't explain. I figured it was fat so I just refrigerated them to let the fat clump and I could scoop and toss. The pics prove my smell was correct. The serving had ONE cut of potato little bit of carrots and zuchinni but the chayote/squash sucked. I'm biased because I don't like chayote. Anyway l, I took pics when I opened and after warming up (on stove). They're expensive, the ground meat is not good quality and the serving is small. If they work on those 3 things they will be much better.

Everybody was very nice. It looks great on the photos, but food was very bland. The horchata was good.

We started with guacamole and chips and fish tacos, then shared a big platter with carne asada, grilled chicken, cheese, nopales, grilled cebollitas and more, along with rice and beans. There was plenty of food to share, everything came out beautifully presented, and everything we tried was delicious. We finished with the churros, which were also really good. The drinks were very well made and actually nice and strong! I appreciate that because so many places serve drinks that taste watered down, and that definitely wasn't our experience here. The restaurant itself is really cute and has some great signs and backgrounds for pictures. We got some really nice group photos for our social media, and one of the employees even volunteered to take a picture for us so we could all be in it, which was really sweet. Even the girls' restroom was super cute and nicely decorated. You can tell they put thought into the little details throughout the place. Our waitress, Marissa, was wonderful from beginning to end. She was sweet, attentive and made sure we were taken care of throughout the night. The other employees we interacted with were also very friendly and helpful. I'm really happy our first experience here was such a good one. I would definitely come back for another girls' night, but I could also see myself coming back with my husband and kids for a family dinner. Definitely a place I would recommend.

Host and waitress were really friendly. We ordered the calamari, molcajete with a Jamaica. Calamari: 5/5 This appetizer was a great way to start our celebration. It was crispy enough to keep you wanting more. The flavor wasn't too fishy and it was accompanied by some tasty dipping sauces. Would definitely order again. Molcajete: 4/5 A favorite at our table that was filled with so many protein options and a nice salsa to pair with. We loved the chicken, chorizo, and the queso!! The only reason it got a 4/5 was because the steak was waaaay too salty which made it hard to enjoy. The shrimp was a nice touch, also not too fishy and the bacon paired nicely. You can definitely taste a variety of flavors and it's also a big enough portion to share! Comes with beans and rice which we ended up splitting with our kiddos. Jamaica: 5/5 We loved the Jamaica here and it tastes very traditional. It doesn't taste like it's made from powder and comes in a huge glass cup. Not too sweet and the bold flavor of the hibiscus makes it hard to stop drinking! Loved it. Overall, a great place to dine in for celebrations or just for a nice dinner. Would definitely recommend if you're nearby. I hope to come back soon.

I also don't appreciate the poor attitude that two of the bartenders have been displaying lately. They have favorites and it shows a lot. I understand that when it's time to close it's time to close and go. But if you're serving other people and treating those same people nicer because they're your favorites, well that's not cool. In the end we're all patrons. We all support when consuming. But above all, it's the poor attitude that I will never pay for. I used to like coming here often. I probably will never again. I also know that occasionally in the bar they overcharge for cocktails thinking customers will not notice because they've been drinking and bartenders refuse to adjust the check. This is terrible and now you know.

I got the breakfast burrito, and it was really good with the sauce. I liked the bacon in it, and it was huge. But without the sauce, it tasted pretty plain, just like a regular burrito with eggs. Of course, I ordered the chilaquiles, but I was disappointed. I specifically wanted dry chilaquiles, and that's what | ordered. I know the sauce usually makes the tortilla chips soft, but these were really wet and soggy. It honestly felt like it had been sitting out for a while because the food wasn't hot. The flavor was good, but I'm not a fan of soft or too soggy chips. Also, they thought our order was for dine-in, so they gave us chips. When we told them it was to-go, they took the chips back. I was hoping they would still give us chip takeout, but they didn't, which was really disappointing. Cmon you already put it on our table and we told them it's to go they took it right away.
