Service - 4 Star Food - 4 Star Best Buns - 5 Star I don't eat Korean Fusion and I still love their burgers! I think I'd love any well seasoned beef on top of these slightly sweet burgers buns. After that, it's just a matter of picking out your toppings from their selections. Extremely friendly service from the staff, here. They'll even let you try out some of their sauces and toppings to see if you like them before you order your burger. They know how to cook the burgers so they are juicy and cooked through, but if you want some pink showing, you've got to ask for it. The fries, (I prefer the potatoes ones) are perfectly cooked as well. So, just because this place has a Korean Asian influence, doesn't mean they don't make a great American style burger as well. I hear their included in the DFW Burger Wars this year. I think they would make some awesome competition for some of the "Old Guard" in metroplex. Go get LA Burgers! read more

i've been to this location and the one in irving, and I gotta say, might be one of my favorite burger places ever. Having recently relocated from California I have been searching for some delicious Korean food and LA Burger hit the spot. They have a bar as well and the food goes well with soju. On a recent trip headed north, we found ourselves hungry and looking for a place easily accessible from I-35. This place did not disappoint. For starters, the customer service is amazing. The guys working behind the counter were so friendly (shout out to Justin!) it was really cool getting a really solid dining experience from a burger joint. Then there's the food! We ordered the Bonsai and K town burgers, and both were awesome, but I was super into the K town. I mean the kimchi and jalapeños just went so well together. Went here for the first time couple weeks ago for dinner with a friend. We both ordered the LA burger and the kimchi fries (half regular fries & half curly fries). The fries were amazing! The kimchi was authentic, which I appreciate. The burgers were pretty good as well. The only thing I didn't like was that the buns were too sweet for my liking. All in all, would come back. I've always wanted to try this place ever since I saw the menu, and they are good, but not that good. I ordered the classic LA burger and some fries on the side. The burger was juicy and moist, and the egg made it nice and creamy, but it was extremely messy. Additionally, after the first bite, it didn't feel that unique anymore. The fries were also alright, nothing special. Considering the amount of food you get, I feel that it's a bit overpriced, and the food quality is not that great either. My wife and I just stopped into the location 1017 E. Trinity Mills Rd Carrollton TX. This was out first visit to the location. When we first approached it looked like it was closed with the dark black out windows. There is a sign that says open but it looks closed. When we entered it was not busy and the young man behind the register greeted us. We explained we had never been there and he processed to explain the foods. (only suggestion I would have for them is offer a sample if someone is new and never had kimchi or bulgogi). We placed our orders for two burgers along with both fries and onion rings to try them both. Our food was delivery quickly and the burgers were outstanding! The curly fries rocked! The onion rings were OK they had just a touch of grease still in them but were still good. Overall a great visit and somewhere we will be back to try again. read more

First time visit and, wow, the food was really good! We got kimchi fries, tacos, cali burger(with over-easy egg, yum) soda/water and came to a little under 20$ with the yelp 10% off coupon with a check-in. Young lady at counter was not particularly friendly, but when the manager stepped in to take the 10% off he was friendly and helpful (he saw my daughter's taco order and make a delish recommendation to get the pork and add avocado). The addition of the avocado was an upsell, but a tasty one:) We went around 2:30 today (Saturday) and wasnt terribly busy, but there were def. eaters there. The tables we wanted to sit at were dirty...had food/sauce drippings, so I cleaned the table we wanted to sit at. Didnt use restroom, so cannot speak to the cleanliness there. Manager came over and asked how we liked the food, joked with us a bit. We will be back no doubt. The food was well prepared, as in it looked very appealing. The amount seemed fair to me despite the price seeming just a tad high. I believe it was 6$ for my burger alone. However, the quality and quantity of the food removes any reservations regarding our return. And those kimchi fries are a treat for the senses. The menu doesnt seem overwhelmingly huge, but sure does offer a really nice range of choices. So glad to have a new spot to visit! read more

Good food period. I had always seen this place but never paid attention thinking it was some hole in the wall, funky burger place. Well it's all that plus more mixed with spice and awesomeness! It took a reality show taping to get me into the place for the first time. That's right this place has been on an MTV reality show, rumor has it a PA was scouting locations, had some lunch here and was sold on the location. Anywho, myself and family come all the time now and we bring friends. Not to mention the Yelp discount! (#Bonus) Tacos are excellent (yes, tacos). Burger options rock and are tasty. Fries and rings are good. (Note: if you get something with chili - get it on the side; it's pretty spicy) The staff is awesome, they remember us when we walk in which is nice. Great use of space. Bun and Beef are great. The bun is a perfect sweet/sourdough with a great doughy and crispy butter toast greatness. The burger is a griddle crisp beef and the ingredients are not overpowering at all. The bonsai burger was good but was missing the teriyaki flavor. Kimchi fires are the bomb cause it's so different than anything else in dallas...and the fries are super crispy good. The kimchi is subtle, which is a good choice for the dallas palette.
