    Raspberry margarita

Stopped for lunch to try this place out. Greeted by Oscar at the door. He sat us snd was also our server. After a little conversation we found out he is the owner of the restaurant! Food is great! I had a raspberry margarita and it was the "mata" which I recommend made from fresh juices and a step up from the house. They have a stage so I'm assuming there may be live music on certain days. Come and check this place out!

We just moved to Gaffney and had saw the sign from the road so we decided to give this place a try. We came in for lunch on a Monday afternoon. The restaurant was beautiful, clean and very welcoming. The gentleman at the bar probably greeted us, seated us and asked if it was our first time. He got us chips and salsa and told us KayLee would be with us shortly. Everything was great. Food was excellent not overly salted. My husband had the ground beef tacos and he said they were amazing. Probably some of the best salsa I've had around. To no fault of the servers, but guacamole could've been a little bit better. Let's be honest, customer service is $hit nowadays, but Kaylee had such an amazing aura, wonderful customer service and we always had everything we needed! What a great value, We will def be back

Third visit to La Cantina, I like my choice of food more this time. I got three street tacos (Grilled Chicken, Steak, and Pastor) on corn tortillas. I liked the Pastor taco best, steak was tough but not bad, did not like the grilled chicken the meat was tough to eat. (Shredded chicken on last visit was better) Spouse got Chicken Soup he wasn't too hungry he enjoyed it ate all of the soup part wasn't as big of a fan of the rice in the soup but he would eat it all if he had been more hungry. Also got a Paloma Rosa last visit was better this time not much flavor could've been an off day I wouldn't hold it too then the last time I had this drink it was perfect! Atmosphere is great, place is very clean and decor is nice. Salsa bar is my favorite but wish there were spicy options salsa wise. I think mango habanero was the spiciest one I tried could be mistaking name. Wish there were slightly larger cups to put the salsa in. Service was great as well!

Granted, the restaurant was busy, however we expected our table to be ready around 7:30. This was our first time here, so we did not know how they ran the establishment. We got the all you can eat menu, but no one explained how anything worked/addressed our table until 10-15 minutes later. Everyone gets their own AYCE paper menu, however be sure to coordinate with your party on how many menu items are being ordered. We had to pay an extra fee for taking home our leftovers, but I do think the server could have confirmed with our table first before putting in all of our paper orders and letting us have an abundance of food. I believe there is a better system for AYCE than this. Service was a 0/10. In regard to the food, sushi was mid at best. The raw salmon was mushy, hibachi steak was mushy, and overall just mushy. For the price that we paid, we expected more premium food than this. Honestly, the only good and memorable food were surprisingly the french fries and yellow tail jalapeño appetizer Food was 1/10, presentation was 5/10. There is 100% better sushi than this within 30 minutes away. You're better off buying from the grocery store. I DONT recommend getting the mackerel either. For a Japanese cuisine restaurant, we could tell this was not authentic. We were there from 7:30 up until closing, in which they deliberately were trying to rush us out by turning off the lights and not even giving my brother a birthday celebration. They just hurriedly handed him a plain bowl of vanilla ice cream and explained how they "usually put a chocolate drizzle and whipped cream on it." I had to start singing happy birthday myself for the whole restaurant to join along. Then the server unashamedly came back to sing with us as if she was there the whole time... All in all, I DO NOT recommend coming here for AYCE sushi and I don't think you guys know what a bad day really is. I don't even want to look at sushi ever again.

They just stood there staring at me like I had just lost my marbles. The service was just okay. I asked for water with my margarita and somehow ended up with sweet tea. The margaritas? Let's just say the alcohol must have been on vacation because there was absolutely no sign of it. The side salad did not come as described, it came with diced ham and maybe two tiny pieces of tomato. No eggs, no bacon, just vibes. The salad itself wasn't bad, but it definitely wasn't what I expected. I ordered my steak medium rare and received a steak that looked like it had been through a full life journey before reaching my table. It was well done. Overall, the meal was just... there. Nothing memorable, nothing to write back home about. LongHorn Steakhouse or Texas Roadhouse would easily get my money before this place. First visit, last visit. And honestly, the restroom was the biggest deal breaker. If the bathroom is giving "abandoned gas station" energy, I can only imagine what's happening where I can't see.

The place was not very clean to be honest. 2) Service 4.5/5 - The service was good but was not very quick. 3) Food 4.5/5: The food that we had was really good except 1 thing. Here is the summary of the food we had: a) Tofu Pho (Large): It was huge and very tasty. I am not a fan of Tofu bit I loved it here. It was more than enough for 2 people. b) Taro Boba tea - It did not have ice and it was like a smoothie which we loved. had a lot of Boba c) Lychee Boba - This was very sweet and I could see the additional sugar syrup aded to it. Not sure why they had to add it and just because of that I this became very sweet 4) Value for Money 4/5 - This place looks small but its not very cheap PS: There is less parking on the road but there is a public parking right by the corner which is free on evenings and weekends. The Good: 1) Pho 2) Taro Boba Not So Good: 1) The cleanliness Overall, I would recommend the Pho here and PS please get the regular size unless you are two people who are really hungry.
