This place is divided into a small eating area and a bigger patio area. The bigger area is closed off during the day and it looks like it's used for the bar and dancing activities. This is a place that comes with one complimentary bowl of tortilla chips and two types of salsa. So other Mexican restaurants either have bottomless chips and salsa or none at all. I assumed the former. When we asked for a refill, they did not tell us that this would cost us money so we got a surprise charge on our bill. I tried out their Nachos Libre and it was fairly good. The real issue is when we tried to pay for our bill with our split checks. We all had gift cards but they were too incompetent to be able to handle this separately. Imagine if you had separate bills and everyone in your party uses a credit card only for them to tell you that they can only take one credit card; it makes zero sense. Because their system was really screwed up, they just took my gift card which was super inconvenient. All in all, this place is filled with lies and horrible service. I suggest not coming here to avoid all the hidden fees and the incompetence.

The food and drinks are just okay. We expected more based on the social media videos our friend from Tucson kept eyeing. The staff wasn't willing to make any changes to the taco options. I'm a yes person and everything was no. The hostess was kind and asked if we wanted a picture of their wall while we were standing by the entrance. Would have given three stars if everything wasn't a no. I rarely ask for changes just wanted different meats for the tacos versus just one for all three.

In regard to my recent pick-up order, I opted for the 3 taco plate. The accompanying chips and rice, while satisfactory, left room for improvement. The green tortillas, although possessing a pleasing flavor, were notably thick in texture. On a more positive note, the salsas were a standout, and the quality of the steak was commendable. While my overall dining experience was good, it fell short of achieving greatness. I remain open to revisiting the establishment to explore additional items on the menu. Service and ordering process was good.

La Casa de las Flores is a full-sized Mexican food restaurant, bar, and event hall. Inspired by a floral theme, the name means The House of Flowers. They have a beautiful flowery mural on the outside of the restaurant. I ordered the Sopa de Verduras and Enchiladas Suizas for my meal. Despite being short-staffed when I was here, my server was nice and I found the Enchiladas Suizas to be quite tasty.

We decided to have an impromptu dinner here, a "just because" kind of night, and it turned out to be a great choice! I didn't catch the names of the staff, but based on my experience, it seems like the entire team is committed to providing a positive customer service experience. We called ahead to ask if reservations were needed for a party of two, and the person on the phone assured us that no reservations were required for a small party--only recommended for parties of six or more. That was a nice touch, making us feel welcome without any hassle. When we arrived, we were promptly seated and given chips and salsa to start. Shortly after, our server introduced herself and took our drink order. She was extremely friendly, helpful, and honest when recommending dishes, even pointing out ones she hadn't tried herself, which I really appreciated. Being in the food industry myself, I felt like I was in good hands. Her recommendations turned out to be spot on, and we really enjoyed the dishes. Throughout the night, our drinks were never empty great service! One interesting part of the evening was the opportunity to have a photo taken (with a frame for purchase). We felt bad declining, but being an unplanned dinner, it wasn't in our budget at the moment. However, next time we may consider getting the photo--great idea for a memento. The environment was clean, and we really liked the music. Some might find it a bit loud, but for us, it was just the right volume. All in all, we had a wonderful night and will definitely keep this place on our list for a future visit. A solid choice for a casual, unplanned dinner out!

First time visiting, and we will be back! The outside is in a strip mall with a nicely painted mural and the inside is decorated beautifully and whimsical. Service was great, we sat at the bar. The chips and salsa to start were great. We ordered a cheese crisp with chilies, it did not disappoint. Perfectly melted cheese and a good crunch the Anaheim Chilies added a nice flavor. It was also served with a small plate of guacamole, creama & Pico! We ordered shrimp tacos and the El Mamalon Burrito! Both plates tasted fantastic. The burrito was enough for 3 meals, but sadly I forgot my to go box, I'm still mad at myself! The bar has a nice selection of beverages the Michelada was tasty!

I have been wanting to come here for awhile because the outside of the restaurant is appealing and draws you in. They definitely get an A for presentation. When you walk in they have a lot of cute decor with a butterfly picture wall and other Instagram worthy murals. They have a bar right when you walk in and the dining room is super cute sitting up on a platform. You do get free chips and salsa here. The salsa was okay, the consistency was excellent but wished it was spicy. They also give you the smallest bowl of salsa with a huge basket of chips. I ordered the fish and shrimp taco meal with rice and beans. The beans were not good. They had no flavor and were basically soaking in water. They were pinto. The rice was pretty good and flavorful and decent for a Mexican rice. The fish taco was awful. I was excited because they gave a very gracious piece of fish that looked well cooked. However, the taste was fishy and lacked any seasoning. The shrimp taco was better but there was too much lettuce and cabbage and not enough sauce or cheese. The carne asada taco i got on the side was definitely the best thing we got at the table - would suggest ordering this with rice. My boyfriend had the chicken chimichanga and he liked it a lot. The 3 stars comes from the understaffed slow service and the lack of Mexican taste to the food. For a state with a large Mexican food population, the taste and flavor just wasn't there For me.

We were pleased by this place. Food was good. The wife really enjoyed her mole. My carne asada con nopales was good. Not really much else to say. I suspect we'll try it again.

The chicken tenders were fire!!! What is lacking on this occasion was service. The server that we had was so unattentative. I have never been in a cocktail lounge in my life and had to beg for drinks. Our server would wait until every drinks was made for all of her tables before bringing out drinks. It was ridiculous. She was nice but seemed high. I ended up only having 2 drinks. We would have ordered more but they have 90min max seating and we didn't event get drinks for the first 30min. No exaggeration. Also one of my drinks I had to send back. My apple martini tasted like soap. It was like they did clean the glass after giving a soap bath. No bueno. So they need to get their service to match the vibe of a true cocktails lounge. Yes it is a 70s vibe but doesn't mean the lackadaisical style service. I would come back and try again. The music, the atmosphere and the food was good. They gotta get these cocktails together and service. We ended up walking to nearby competitors and that was money lost for DDG.
