Cool place and concept! We wanted to get out of the house and kill some time as a family. We played a few games and had some beers and shared a cheese quesadilla. The quesadilla was super cheesy and yummy! Good selection of beers and games. FYI, all cocktails are wine based cocktails. I have had those at breweries before and enjoyed them, but didnt try it here. Next time. This would be a good way to get out of the house during summer and have something to do. read more

Solid selection of games here, really cheap at a dollar per game. The people working here were pretty nice and helpful. I didn't bother to try any of the food, but it looked to be mainly simple sandwiches. They have lots of tables and different tables for different games. Had such a fun board game night with my friends here! They have sooo many board games to choose from and plenty of space. There are a variety of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks to purchase at the bar. You will want to leave a credit card to keep a tab open because there's also snacks and sandwiches you can buy too. We came on trivia night (Friday), which we weren't aware of and this isn't your normal trivia. The questions are DIFFICULT. Would love to come back again. If you like board games, trivia, and/or sub sandwiches, then Silver Key Lounge may be the place for you! I recently went to their Friday night trivia for the first time, and while it's extremely challenging and requires a plethora of random knowledge and facts, it makes for a super fun group hang with friends! I ordered a turkey sub sandwich from the bar during a break in trivia rounds and it came out delicious. They also have a variety of beers on tap and a ton of snacks you can purchase. Though I didn't play any board games this time around I was impressed with their wide selection and will definitely come back another time to try out some games. Small gaming store with a huge, laid-back play space in the back. They ask each table to spend at least $10, which is easy to do if you each buy a coke or if someone's ordering food. (Larger parties should spend more to make up for multiple tables.) You order and pay at the bar,so it has a chill feeling; they offer beer, soft drinks, sandwiches and wraps. They're low-stress and low-frills, just a nice setup (Cthulhu themed) and a ton of games for use although most people bring their own. It looks like they also host weekly events--Magic the Gathering nights, stuff like that--although I've never been to one of those. Very cool place. They charge $10 for a table, if you spend more than $10 on drinks, then the intial table cost is taken off your tab. My family and I enjoyed it! They have a massive selection of different board games and plenty of options for drinks! They have a fairly open floor plan and we never felt crowded while playing our game. They also are very welcoming and saw many tables offering for other people to join their games. Greg was very kind and we will be back to support this great location. One of the best game bars I have been to! Staff is very friendly and informative, and they have a wide variety of beer, cocktails, and non alcoholic drinks. We got the tiki drink and the dragons breath cocktail, and not only did they look amazing but they tasted great too! Came back for a longer visit on the weekend and I've become much less impressed. Also the flyer says "1920's speakeasy beer & wine game lounge" or something like that.....This has absolutely no feel of the 20's, let alone a Speakeasy. It's simply a "tabletop game bar." Drink selection is quite large between draft, cans, cider, and non-alcoholic. However you can get better snacks at a corner liquor store. Staff is very friendly and I'll likely be back because my friends like it, but I'm not a fan. read more

Cool place but our game master didn't know any of the party games we wanted to try. They have a huge game library so we played Sushi Go, Coup, and C&H Trial by Trolley (fairly easy to learn games). The cheese platter was a little sad for $7 but I understand covid restrictions means a lot of foods have to come pre-packaged. They don't have a liquor license yet so I stuck to dr pepper and butterscotch "beer". They were out of a couple items like the Moose Drool (?) beer and fitz's root beer. I have been coming here with my bf and our teenage girls for few months. The first time the place was empty and we had incredible service. The next few times were also great. I check their events to have somewhere to go and fun games to play. Been there at least 5 times. There for the meet and greet of new games, or there when they had cosplay event, etc. But tonight was so different and horrible. I put my card on tab like 'usual'. We had dinner from the wonderful food truck service. We started a board game, picked soda and beer and enjoyed next hour. Then time to leave... you are allowed to take unopened beer home, so I was planning that. My daughter picks two sodas and I pick two beers. My bf had to use restroom and I realized my purse was left alone at table. I was like .. oh my. Kinda ran with beer to table to get my purse and wallet to put card in (remember the owner has my bank card for tab). This owner behind the counter starts yelling and screaming as if I'm going to go out the door with two beers and leave my daughter in line with sodas. Ugh?! Stupid. Did I mention my boyfriend had spent hundreds of dollars buying games. We were regulars. I tell the Bartender/owner ,"sorry I didn't know my bf left my purse at table and I needed to grab my wallet. I'm not going to run off and leave my teen daughter right in front of you with rest of our purchase." It was uncalled for and embarrassing. Then he opens the beers I planned on enjoying at home. Ugh!!! Now I sip both- I have to get my son from work and we have to leave. I spend over $20 for two specialty beers I now must THROW DOWN THE SINK in bathroom! I feel embarrassed (for no reason -just had to walk 10 feet to purse) and just wasted $20 in two cans of beer. My suggestion: be the right race and color. Don't assume they care for their repeated customers. In the end it's about how you conduct yourself in front of your children. My daughter was embarrassed. She asked ,"mom, why would he even think you were going to steal and why did he just ruin and open beers knowing you can't take them now. " I said ,"to lose customers. Just know we won't be back to experience this awful feeling again. AND please take a good look at this man's face when he sees how he treated us and know it's the last time you have to see that again from him. So remember his ethics, his business behavior, because we won't be back." I hope others know what they are in for when they get profiled here at Silver Key. The yelling and wasting my beers was uncalled for. read more

This place is awesome! Seriously I think I've found my favorite joint in town. It's very spacious in there and they have a private room available for booking. They have a great gaming selection ranging from simple games to complex ones. You do kinda need to know what you're looking for though since the games are not sorted in categories or any particular order to help making your selection easier. They charge a more than fair price, $10 to play but your order for drinks can easily offset that. They have a great brewery selection that's updated regularly and a great selection for canned alcoholic beverages (hard seltzer, kombucha, IPAs, ciders you name it). read more

We were visiting from NV for the weekend, had checked out of our hotel and had some time to kill before heading home. I found the Silver Key Lounge on Yelp and it was the perfect afternoon activity for our 4 friends. Here's all the reasons I loved it. #1- The place was super clean and well kept up with really fun decor. There were many comfy tables to sit at and play games and the air conditioning was kicking. #2. They had a bar with a great selection of wines and brews. They also had a case with plenty of non alcoholic options to please everyone in our group. #3. The bartender was super welcoming and kind to us. #4. Their selection of games was HUGE! We ended up picking an easy play game because we had a limited amount of time but there were some really cool games on the shelf. Also, tons of larger groups were there playing RPGs. The Silver Key is marvelous! Been coming here for a little over 2 years now and have loved watching their success. Greg and co. are so knowledgeable and friendly -- they know me by name and what my beer of choice is before I even get to the bar. The board game selection is off the charts and leagues ahead of competitors, and they offer so many great events. The space is huge and comfortable, so you can spend hours playing board games without being disturbed by anyone else, and the quality of the ~500 games in their collection is fantastic. The draft list is somewhat small but extremely high quality, and there are tons of wines and non-alcoholic options as well, plus the food trucks outside every few days. My one complaint would be the obnoxious and unreasonable trivia on Friday nights run by Madd Hatter, which renders it impossible to play a board game and isn't very fun to participate in since most of the questions are obscure to the point of being ridiculous or are arbitrary and up to the questioner. That said, it brings in a lot of customers, so I'm happy for them. But if you want to play a game or be able to hear yourself think, avoid going on a Friday. read more

I absolutely love this bar! The staff is super friendly and they truly care. I stumbled across this place looking to learn and play some dungeons and dragons. Scott runs the weekly one shot for beginners and he's an amazing DM! In order to reserve your seat, you have to do that through their Facebook page on the event posted. The bartender also remembered my name and that small detail definitely made my night and made me feel welcomed! They have a huge selection of tabletop games to play or you can bring your own in and play on one of their many tables! They also have a big selection of drinks! From non-alcoholic to alcoholic you'll find something! They also have some snack to pick from. At the main entrance you'll find games or other items for purchase so definitely take a look! Their establishment is super clean with plenty of parking and events always happening! Great place for all ages! Pretty much every board game I can think of, each kept in great condition with all pieces intact. Love the soda selection and general "vibe" of the place. Only downsides are that the food/soft drinks can be a bit pricey, but I love that they let you bring your own food. All in all, I'd definitely recommend. read more
