La Casa di Lucia on the farthest end of Bustleton Avenue, in Northeast Philadelphia about a mile before reaching Bucks County, is another decent Italian restaurant slinging traditional dishes to the people of the nearby hoods. There is a big bar in the front of the house, and a small dining room behind it, with a larger banquet room to the side. It is clean and attractive. And, if you enjoy a cabaret feel with sultry smoky chanteuse, this house provides the entertainment several nights a week. We were there for a light supper after strong foot massage, and La Casa di Lucia fit the bill. Plenty of choices, solid service and reasonable prices. This is the case in many such restaurants in this neck of the woods. We ordered a Caesar salad and large pizza, half mushrooms, half plain. Both arrived within ten minutes. It was a large salad with plenty of romaine, and good homemade dressing. We could even taste the anchovy paste. It was a strong accompaniment to the pizza. The pie was good, too, but not as crisp and balanced as I like, and as are available not very far away. Plenty of cheese (perhaps too much compared to the red sauce, garlic and basil elements). The crust was still too moist making it impossible to pick up and hold its point. Had to fold it immediately to avoid a hot cheese slide onto the plate or lap. Taste was decent, but the texture needed a kick in the crotch to stiffen it up. Took half of it home for later consumption. I would try La Casa di Lucia again to see what their dinners were about, but would pass on the tomato pie.

Shout out to small businesses! Having to keep Christmas small this year we decided to order in from a local restaurant. I had always heard great things but had never dined there before. The food was absolutely DELICIOUS and I wanted to take a moment to shout them out and spread the word. If you are looking to help a small business while having your taste buds dance I would recommend this spot. We were NOT disappointed!

We used to come here regularly years ago but stopped frequenting because the service and food seemed to change overtime. I decided to visit them again to see how things are presently but was disappointed. We stopped here last week for early bird dining. It took 10 minutes before anyone came to the table to take our drink/food order. It took over 40 minutes to get out entrees. We became concerned when tables who came in after us were eating their entrees. When we questioned the waitress she claimed it would be a few more minutes but she returned to our table shortly after saying she accidentally forgot to put the order in. She was apologetic and offered to comp us desserts. The food itself was just ok. Waiting so long for the food did not help the situation either. The free dessert was a nice offer but at that point we just were ready to go!

Didn't even touch my pasta it was so moist

I went here for a birthday in my family and was kinda let down, had the chicken parm and it was decent but it came with a side of pasta, the pasta was very wet and not in a good way. The pre-dishes I had were the salad and noodle soup, and to be honest the only thing I enjoyed eating was the salad. This places only redeeming quality is the bread Thanks

Went on yelp, found this place, and was pleasantly surprised. Walking in the sports bar was a little tight and packed but from the dining room in the back you couldn't hear any of the noise. Rylie was our server and she was the absolute perfect server for us. We are goofballs on a good day and a walking circus troupe on others. She laughed with us, gave us drink and appetizer suggestions, helped my indecisive behind pick and entree, and quickly became part of the family. She is the type of server that you come back to a place just to see. We love you RY ; We even got to meet the chef Al, the man responsible for the kick ass brisket tacos that our group is still talking about a week later. Making it our business to stop in for his smoked wings and ribs. Do yourself a favor and stop by this "blink and you'll miss it" roadside place, you and your wallet will be happy that you did!! The floor in the main dinning room is pulling apart and is duct taped together. The chairs and tables are flimsy and falling apart. I asked for a blood orange margarita as it was the special of the day. It was not drinkable. It was some sort of powder or mix that was so sour and overly sweet. It did not have any tequila in it. I literally took one sip and left it there. The cheesesteak was good on a seeded roll. It was ribeye and it was done well. Hence tge two stars. The bbq platter had brisket, pulled chicken, ribs, corn and Mac and cheese. The Mac and cheese was the best thing on the platter. The pulled chicken was sitting in a bowl of grease. The brisket was big globs of fat. The ribs were okay. They put a tiny line of sauce on each item. The service was rushed and spotty. I had heard good things, so we decided to give it a try. Very disappointed. There are so many good places around this area now, there is no need to go here again.

I was so looking forward to checking this place out. I SO wanted to give it 4/5 stars but just…read morecould not. I am being generous with the three. Positives: Blueberry Lemonade - perfect! Thats about it. I am hoping it was because it was a little early (5:30), I am hoping it was since it was the Saturday before Easter, I am hoping that they were short staffed, I am hoping it's too early in the season for outdoor seating, I am hoping SO many things because I will be back but not for food for sure. Negatives: In addition to the VERY limited menu; (that was a WELL WORN & wrinkled) what we did order was not much higher quality than freezer food. The pretzel bites - just like "Superpretzel" with cold whiz on the side. The "Zingers" NOT. They were a boneless breast cut into strips and drowned in sauce. Mozzarella sticks - again, basic at best - I've had better come out of my air fryer. Cheesesteak small and lackluster. The pulled pork sandwich could have had potential had it not be dripping in sauce. Both sandwiches served with cold unsalted fries. In addition to the poor quality of food, we had to order it and go back and pay our bill at the bar despite being seated at a table. Interior: Cute design - a small three-sided bar with comfortable seating. Large barrels along the wall with chairs for seating. The interior was dark but not unpleasant. Photos hung high upon the walls and looked like an afterthought as none are framed, nor fully attached and are curling in the corners. There was a large room perfect for events. That was big bright and inviting. Exterior: This is where I am assuming the "magic" happens that I have heard so highly of. An enormous outdoor area with bar and patio, more picnic table style seating slightly up the grounds which appears to have yet another bar, but I am not sure since I didn't walk up. Lovely grounds and LOTS of parking. In all honesty I really wanted to walk out before we ordered and somewhat wished I had because I WANT to like this place so bad and am REALLY chalking this up to a bad night. I am thinking 1675 is more of a bar rather than a bar/restaurant/pub. Despite the food, the drinks are on point. We have had their liquor before from their other location and it is high quality. My blueberry lemonade was bangin and helped make the food somewhat tolerable. I will be back later in the season, maybe on a night with entertainment with HIGH HOPES that the planets were misaligned last night and our experience was simply a fluke!

But, the friendly bartender saw my situation, frowned, and went to talk to the chimney to ask that he consider the other patrons. Cigarettes were one thing, but a fat stogie, quite another. Aside from that annoyance, this was a pretty good bar. Bigger inside than expected, with two pool tables and a surprisingly good kitchen, and a large rectangular bar run by pleasant attractive woman who had everything under control. My sweet Italian sausage, pepper and onion sandwich was very good. Served with fries in a red plastic basket, the meat was still tender and juicy within the torpedo roll and tasted fresh. I stopped in to see the Phillies and watched them implode in the 8th inning. Hazy's would be a natural hangout sports bar for me but for their smoking policy. They'd probably have more business, too. Have to say that while it appears to be an amusement park from beyond the fence with massive water slides and multiple aquamarine pools for various uses; from within it makes more sense and is actually quite attractive in a hyperactive way. Happy Hour with half price drinks was a good deal, and the bar food offerings were also well designed to complement the alcoholic drinks, if not all that tasty, nor compelling in their own right. So many people in a relatively small space around the bar, that conversation was a bit challenging. Plenty of alternative distractions among the many "beautiful" folks who enjoy being the center of attention, and know how to do it right, especially when encouraged with beverage. With music playing in the background the experience was a mixed bag. Clearly, the plan is a bit over the top, and made for people with kids or those who like this glitterati experience. Yet, there was a full house that evening, and business was booming. Covid put an end to the crowds for the last year, but I suspect the club will be back in action full tilt come vaccinations and reduced mask wearing. I'm the more cautious type, and will wait a while before accepting my next invitation.
