For 80-90% of the dishes I've tried thus far the prices are very reasonable for the portions of food that you get, especially for the soups. My personal favorites are the Chicken Murphy, Lasagna with Sausage, stuffed shells with meatballs (BIG meatballs). My only reason for 4-stars is that the mileage sometimes varies for the above statement. Pictured is the Ravioli w/Sausage which provides five Ravioli of quality and the pictured sweet sausage. It costs about the same as the lasagna but the portion for the lasagna is significantly larger, and so I don't want to overhype one's expectations. This being said, not pictured or mentioned thus far is the tissue-box sized loaf of bread provided with each entree which retains freshness for hours afterwards, definitely higher quality than many other Italian restaurants. Those ordering at least 2 entrees for pickup should allot 35-40 minutes of time.

First Time Ordering from Vintage - Absolutely Amazing! As…read moresomeone who regularly caters from different restaurants, I might just be the catering queen--and let me tell you, Vintage did not disappoint! We ordered a variety of dishes and every single one was outstanding. The salad with peppers and chickpeas was fresh and flavorful. The meatballs were soft, humongous, and packed with taste. The eggplant parm? Easily the thickest I've ever had--crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and somehow held its shape beautifully when cut. The cheese ravioli were perfectly cooked with a tomato sauce that was rich and just the right amount of tangy. The grilled chicken had a great flavor, and all of the pastas were tender and cooked to perfection. Vintage truly impressed us with quality and flavor. I'll definitely be ordering again!

Classic vibe, average experience!!!!…read more I dined at Vintage Italian Restaurant and found the experience to be fairly ordinary. The atmosphere has a traditional Italian feel, which is nice, but the food didn't fully match the setting. Some dishes were enjoyable, while others lacked flavor and depth. Service was courteous, though a bit slow at times, and the pacing of the meal felt uneven. Portions were acceptable, but for the price, I expected more consistency. Overall, it's an okay option if you're nearby, but there are better Italian restaurants that offer stronger flavors and better value!!

The owner was friendly as soon as we walked in and told us it would be about 8 minutes for the pizza- super fast! I would be surprised if he even crossed the minute mark before it was in the oven. Great conversation with the owner while we waited, and learned he had a spot near Asbury Park before moving here and opening this location. They do some cool things like "2 foot slices" (for those days you only want a slice lol). Countless specialty pies if you are in the mood for unique offerings. A large cheese pie is less than what you would pay at a chain- that's a huge win win- support local! After getting our hot pizza, my wife and I knew 2 bites in that we would be coming back. Great flavor on the sauce and quality cheese. They cook their pies half in the pan and half on the stone and the crust is almost airy with just the right amount of crunch at the end. We loved talking to Joe about his fav spots in NJ and NY- and he is a pretty humble owner that gives flowers to the spots that he thinks are doing it right. Will definitely be back! Pro tip: Don't be embarrassed when Joe asks if you need a box for leftovers and you realize there are no leftovers!

First of all, his…read moredescription of "the waitress informing him that Cioffi's does not include the clam shells with white clam sauce" and that she "affirmed" that they only use canned clams is not just a flat out lie, it's stupid. Notice he didn't include a picture...like I DID, which clearly shows REAL clams with REAL shells. There were no "canned clams" like the liar, Herman S (S for STUNAD) describes. But THEN...I saw where the idiot was from, and saw what he was really upset about. They were showing "FOX NEWS" on one of their TVs behind the bar. (To be fair, there was another one showing MSLSD, but STUNAD doesn't mention that.) The jackass was just triggered at one of the tv's and felt it his responsibility to leave a lie of a review. What a snowflake! He was mad at a restaurant because they weren't waving a bunch of rainbow flags and dared to show a news source that actually tells the truth from time to time. How much ya wanna bet Herman S has purple hair? LOL! The dinners here are great, as was the linguini allá vongole! And as for Herman S...just let me catch you. I promise, you'll wind up stuffed in a COFFEE CAN.
