During our visit, we ordered a Brushetta Pie and it was very enjoyable. I appreciated the generous amount of onions on every slice and the freshness of all of the ingredients. I found this place because my son has a class nearby, I am so happy that I did. I've eaten here several times and they made me a chef's salad that is the best I've had, my kids love the pizza, which if you knew my kids, is the ultimate approval. My wife has eaten both chicken Parm and eggplant parmigiana which were both phenomenal. I don't think they can make anything that doesn't taste good. Their food is yummy but I give up with them. They lost us as customers. Both times we ordered the wait time was double, and triple what they told us. The first time it happened, the food was good so we figured ok we'll give another chance. This time it was an hour and a half wait when we were told 30 minutes. Now it was a Friday, so I get that's a busy day. But we showed up 45 minutes after placing the order and they were just putting the pizza in the oven. Frustrated with the time it takes for them to prepare and deliver food. I've done 2 pickup and 1 delivery orders from here and each time it is excessively later than estimated. Pickups were 15-20 mins later than estimated and the delivery, oh man... I ordered a calzone, calamari and a pasta dish on their website at 6:15 on a Friday. Estimated delivery was 7:15. Which is totally understandable for a Friday night. At 7:30 I called to see if it was coming. I live AROUND THE CORNER and would have gladly picked it up if I needed to. The girl who answered said the driver 'just left' with our order. Again, I live 0.4 miles away, a 3 minute drive. At 8:00 the food still wasn't here and I called AGAIN asking to cancel the order and for a refund. The girl said the driver left '5 mins ago' with my food....I thought he left 30 MINS ago...the food showed up 5 mins later. I get it, COVID hit restaurants hard, I used to work in one, and I'm in no way complaining about slower service...but be honest. Don't tell me my food is already out the door on it's way to me if it isn't...tell me that you are backed up and it's taking longer than expected. To have my food an hour and 45 mins after I ordered it...which is 45 mins later than it was estimated would have been more acceptable if I was told the truth. I gave it 2 stars because of the quality of the food each time it was ordered...they have great pizza, even if you have to wait a long time for it. read more

It took me 3 years to find good pizza near me in Jersey. Here it is. Have tried so many places in the area and this one competes with Star Tavern for some of the best. Crust is always crispy, sauce is sweet but not over powering, cheese blend is perfect along with amount put on and consistency. Doesn't matter what slice you grab from the box. Hell when I went in the other night for a take out a customer gave the business a gift saying "thank you for all you for us". That's how you know this place is legit. This place by far has some of the best pizza in town. But not only that, they're Italian entrees are extremely delicious and filling! The chicken francese and the stuffed shells happen to be two of my favorites! The owners do an excellent job in making all their customers feel at home. My daughter loves their mozzarella sticks and points out to me these are bigger than some places we've been. Not only did she devour all the mozzarella sticks, she likes the ice cream assortment (like the ones you can select from an ice cream truck). Their sandwiches are excellent, the bread is very fresh, soft on the inside with a nice hard crust. But my favorite meals are there Italian dinners, spaghetti and meatball, sausage and peppers, the lasagna is great, and the fried calamari is the best around. I've been coming to la casa pizza for years, and I love their food. The owners and the staff are super friendly, i never had a problem with food taking to long or food i ordered being under/over cooked. And the place is very clean. La Casa is our go-to pizza place and is consistently good. I am shocked from the 1 and 2 star reviews I just read. The pizza is good, meatballs are always gobbled up quickly, any other meals I have gotten have also been tasty. A few of our friends now also order from La Casa after having it at our house. We have little kids so do take out a lot but also eat there sometimes since it is a nicer atmosphere than you expect from a pizza place and the owners are really helpful and great with the kids. read more

This one may just be the one I will finally store in my address book. Delivery took about 35-40 minutes, not too bad considering I'm in another town. The pizza was just the right temperature and was delicious! It was baked well done, just as I asked for, and the ingredients were definitely fresh.
