WE LOVE THIS PLACE! Truly from the first day we walked in. We felt like family here. They treat you like one of their own, and their food is absolutely delicious. Everything we've tried from the enchiladas to the sopes to the tacos have been delicious! There isn't one bad thing on the menu. All the staff are amazing. Food was bland and zero heat/spice. Chips seemed stale and possibly not house made. I ordered 2 ala cart items and both were wrong and when my correct order came, my boyfriend had already finished his entree. Very welcoming Mexican restaurant in a small strip mall off Bidwell. Easy in and out. Nice staff, excellent menu ( maybe too large). I zoomed in on lunch specials and light side. Chili reano was one of the best I have had in too long. Authentic cook- size was small for me, but I did order from light side. Side of guacamole was really good. The sodas are pricey $4.25 so I will skip that next time but really nice place! read more

So with me writing another Mexican Restaurant review let me tell you that this one so far is on top of the other Mexican Restaurants that we have eaten at this far. Being that we were figuring out what to eat for dinner my wife and I decided that we would visit this place and figure that we would give it a try. After just walking in the door our Waitress Karla said "Welcome In, just the 2 of you?" To we responded "Yes" and then she said "Well just find somewhere to sit and I'll be with you in just a moment." We sat down and in the process started looking over the menu and when she came over to get our drinks and we ordered Pepsi and then when I asked if they had Horchata and she said yes, I ordered that. After a few minutes she brought our drinks and then to our delight we asked for Guacamole and a couple of minutes another lady brought that to us and it was very creamy and delicious as well. So far this place is on Fire with its Service and Food. There was a bunch of pictures on the well that fully represent Mexico and let me tell you the place (even during the daytime) was very well lit for being a hole in the wall. Or as I'd like to call it a hole in the stripmall. After our waitress came back to see if we were ready for our Entrees I ordered Lengua Tacos and my wife ordered a Beef Chimichanga. I'd say about 10 minutes our food came out and it was hot, fresh and very tasty. The flavors in my Lengua Tacos were great. The meat was very tender just as I remember with my first experience in Tijuana with a Taco Stand where I bought a Lengua Taco for $1. My wife said that her Beef Chimichanga was hot, and the beans were delicious as well. I absolutely love good Mexican Rice and my Mexican Rice was very good as well. I'm so glad my wife found a coupon to this place, it was the best decision we made on food last night. read more

Stopped in for a Monday lunch and was seated immediately. This place is in a strip mall and it's super cute. Our server was very friendly. I have a lot of food allergies, and they were able to work around that with no problem. The food was fresh and delicious. We were not impressed with the food. It was just ok. The restaurant was beautifully decorated and the staff very nice. I highly recommend you somehow secure your booths. As of now my favorite Mexican restaurant near by! We stopped by today after church today and tried Tres Rosa's Mexican restaurant and it was a true hit! I had the cheese enchiladas with refried beans and rice and my husband had the mole chicken Enchiladas. They were both delicious and it's like comfort food to us. The service was amazing and attentive always with a kind smile. The restaurant is well decorated and felt welcoming and friendly. We will definitely come back soon! Even better than La Rosa Blanca, if you can believe it, which I didn't think it would be, but I was pleasantly surprised!! They're even accommodating of any special requests. Their customer service leaves nothing to be desired. Welcome to a new form of brunch, so pleasant. I felt like I was on vacation in Acapulco or maybe even Oaxaca, who knows. The chicken tortilla soup looks exactly like how my mother or my grandmother made it, and I'm Mexican. I'm originally from Texas and I'm Mexican and this has been the best Mexican food I've tried in the last 3 years I have lived in the area. From Placerville to Rancho Cordova, this is the best I've had for the overall 15 Mexican restaurants I've been to! Find a new cook! Serve quality food. We should have taken the hint when the restaurant was empty. My family was starving, the name "authentic" tempted us. Boy were we wrong! Authentic Mexican? Really? The worse, maybe? I am not being unfair, the food was terrible. The waitress was nice and the place was clean. To clarify. We ordered our meals. We did not cancel anything. We were very disappointed with the quality of the food. I would suggest you go to Trader Joe's into their frozen section and buy their chile Riano. Cook it taste it.
