This restaurant is a must for seafood lovers! Especially if you are visiting Puerto Vallarta and staying near the Marina. Great service, clean spot. Fresh and tasty seafood! The crab taco has so much flavors along w/ the melted cheese. The hot grilled prawns,Mariscos zarandeado is a Must! Jumbo shrimp w/ so much flavors. For a nice plate, it costed about 19 USD. So good that it made me want to return the next day for more! You come to this restaurant just for this!
This is an easy walk from our hotel as many other restaurants along the marina Vallarta. We got the saffron rice with seafood fresh tuna tostada. The seafood tasted really good and the fresh tuna didn't have an overwhelming raw flavor, which is a surprise. Recommend getting a table inside where it's cooler and you can avoid any cigarette smoke while you eat. The service was decent although they cleaned up Our dishes the second we finished our bite and didn't really leave any room to wait around. I felt a bit rushed. A little bit more on the pricey end compared to some other restaurants, and because I felt rushed out of my seat, probably wouldn't return an opt to try another restaurant in the marina somewhere.
We stayed near Marina Vallarta for our first trip to Puerto Vallarta. The food was amazing and the staff were attentive and friendly. We would recommend this place to those visiting the area and looking for fresh seafood. The restaurant design was clean and modern with exceptional ambience.
Shrimp. Definitely the barbequed shrimp. If you come here, this is what you should be getting. A little bit of charcoal added to the delicious flavor that pairs so well with your favorite beer. We also tried the fish taco which was ok. The calamari was not great though, it was a little rubbery and tasteless. So come here and get the shrimp and you won't be disappointed.
My wife and I walked passed Cevicheria and saw they had a large fish being grilled behind plexi glass right in front. I knew right away this was for us. The restaurant was beautiful with soothing music being played in the background. Our server was on point with our crandberry and vodka. (And yes they gave us a small bucket of extra ice for our drinks) The chips and hot sauce was great but the real magic came when our meals arrived. We ordered the Tuna steak and Salmon steak. Both were perfectly cooked each on a bed a vegetables. All I can say is I wish we would have found this place earlier. Delicioso
The service was ok. They gave us a very wobbly table that's about to fall. We had to ask for a new table. Was giving this green spicy salsa but no chips. And tons of lime. I ordered the shrimp ZARANDEADO which is their specialty. Just shrimp. No sides. Not coming back. Food is ok. Not something to write home about.
Ended up here when the joint we went to had over an hour wait. Made reservations for the next night and walked into this place. Ordered Cesar salad, garlic shrimp and fish tacos. Tacos and shrimp were spot on, Cesar salad dressing was had to find and watery not bad just, you get it. Given we were not eating where we thought we were you'd think we'd be bummed on the second option not the case.
I found this place to be a nice little snack spot. I am not really fond of too much salt or sugar and that was my only remark in the food... it was VERY salty. I would say the service was decent. No one really checked on me but not sure if it's because I had a headphone in or if I looked like I was good but I appreciate just being checked in on and asked if I needed anything and I didn't really get that here. Overall glad I went but not sure if I would go again.

I'm giving two stars because the service was good, but I was disappointed with the shrimp tostadas. There were literally only a few pieces of shrimp on the tostada, a couple pieces of avocado, and nothing else. I'm from Baja, so I'm used to shrimp ceviche being much more elaborate and flavorful. Unfortunately, this didn't meet my expectations. I wouldn't recommend this place. read more
BEST FLAVORFUL FOOD HERE! Recommend: Yes! Pick here if you don't know where to go eat! Food: 10/10 Service: they were nice and welcoming for tourist. Tip/reminder: if you ask for water, they charge by the bottle. First time in Puerto Vallarta on a cruise trip. And we took an uber nearby and found this lovely restaurant. There was many around but I picked this place because I wanted seafood. This local restaurant turns out to be my number one favorite restaurant of all the places we visited. We ordered a fish taco and crab taco. Both were very good. And we also ordered grilled octopus and that was very tender and flavorful too. On top of that, the complimentary chips and salsa was one of my favorite salsa now. It was the perfect spicy level for me and it was sweet and tangy. I enjoyed everything very well and recommended everyone to try this place if you don't know where to eat. read more

Excellent food, Great drinks, Awesome service. Have been there twice. One with my son and one time alone. Have had tacos, pulpo zarandeado, different seafood. However all of it great! Drink wise same, alcoholic and non alcoholic. read more

The Zarandeado dishes are MUST have. The shrimp and steak are INCREDIBLE. Service is very solid for what it is. Always switching out plates as they get full of the shrimp shells. You're going to get a little messy, dive into the shell on shrimp with your hands and be ready to be amazed! read more

Fast, friendly and reasonably priced! We came late and they were about to close but accommodated our group of 10. Super fast and fresh food, good sized-portions and decent prices. I will come back here again. Friendly casual atmosphere can accommodate groups or small parties. Brightly colored and happy feeling. read more

So glad we tried this place out! delicious food, friendly staff and clean and nice restaurant (that's packed btw)! We got the Giant shrimp (1/2kg) dish, bomb.com the caesar salad, delicious and so fresh, and the seafood tostada with only shrimp and the molcajete cevichero (it was so delicious but especially the octopus was amazing). You won't be disappointed give them a try! I will definitely be back and recommend my friends to come here too! La Cevicheria and Ponchos Tacos are my 2 go to places now in Puerto Vallarta! read more
Gotta give them a Yelp 5. From atmosphere, to food, service and pricing an excellent experience. Less than $16 US for 12 of the best grilled shrimp I've had. Basted and grilled with what appeared to be an ancho chile paste; whatever is was, was excellent. read more
