This coffee shop here in Beverly Hills, called MARU ESPRESSO BAR is always packed, there's no day that I've passed here that there is no long line. I got intrigued, what's the Hype? I went inside and it's a very small area, so that could be the reason why there's always a long line, but maybe not 'coz it's still like a never ending line here every time we pass by. I lined up and tried their SIGNATURE COFFEE the CREAM TOP. Got my drink quickly since they have many employees making the drinks. So I finally tried it and the hype is real, I can taste the good quality of their coffee here. Parking is tough here, it's one of the busiest areas of Beverly Hills since there are plenty of restaurants nearby. But they do have a couple of Parking structures around, parking that offers valet parking, but mostly Street parking.

Coffee was good, flavor was nothing to rave about. Ambiance was nice, just like any new trendy coffee shop, wood interior and very minimalist look. There is a wait to order but the line moves quickly.

Best espresso bar in LA! Their coffee beans are perfect, medium roast and great balance of sweetness and boldness (vanilla ones). The cafe itself is very cozy, the line can get long but its very well worth it.

I LOOOVE this place soooo much! I always get the espresso con panna which is a shot of espresso with the cream of the panna cotta. All these pictures are the different times I've been there. Employees are really nice and friendly and will help you out. Line is always really long, can't sit there but still highly recommend! Place is a bit small.

This location is a cute little grab-and-go spot right in front of the Maybourne. It was my first time visiting, and I had a great experience. The barista at the register was incredibly friendly and took the time to walk me through the menu and offer drink recommendations. I ended up trying the Cream Top -- a bold iced coffee topped with a sweet cream foam inspired by an Einspänner. A great spot for a coffee on the go with excellent service.

Here for the foam...worth the early Sunday morning drive for a cream top! Friendly service... took the time to greet and explain their different versions of their unique drinks. Small, cute boutique espresso bar.

Maybe I didn't order the right drink, but I thought my drink was ok. I got the cream top and the cream top is definitely delicious, but once the cream top is not there, that's when the drink starts to downfall. Friendly service. There was a line but to be honest if there wasn't a line, I probably wouldn't have found it so quickly. This place is small. The line moved fast. It was about twenty minutes in total - walking there (short distance), standing in line, ordering, getting the drinks and walking back to the car. Finding a parking spot was difficult, but I'm glad I finally got to try this place.

Maru Coffee Bar is a solid stop if you're in the area and want something strong and well-made. Street parking was surprisingly easy, and even though it was a bit busy, the wait wasn't long at all. The cashier wasn't the friendliest, but the baristas definitely made up for it--they clearly know what they're doing. The cream top was so good, and the coffee itself was bold and smooth. Just don't expect to hang out for long, there's no seating. Overall, clean aesthetic and quick in-and-out vibes.

Nice rich double shot Espresso with delicious cream top and cacao powder that gives a perfectly blended sweetness to compliment the bitterness (bitter but much needed). A big fan!

Great coffee option in BH. I got the famed cream top (iced), which was tasty. The sesame pretzel croissant was possibly even better. Would try the vanilla bean flat white next time. They also just opened a location of Maru in NYC, so I'll have to check that out soon. 4.5 stars.

Cream top is a must-try if you like sweet coffees- it did not overshadow the aromatic coffee at all. Service was great and line moved pretty fast, so don't let that turn you away!

My friends and I love this place. Best coffee place in the area. The best part about this place is very close to the rodeo drive and Beverly Hills sign. You can walk around Beverly Hills and have the best time going to this place. It's also incorporated at the corner of Maybourne hotel.

And it's not just fast, it's consistent. Every single drink comes out exactly the way it should, which is honestly impressive for a place with that kind of volume. My go-to is the mango sago, but I also love the guava milk tea. It's legit so delicious and I have a hard time choosing between the two every time I come in. If you see a line, don't let it scare you off -- it moves way faster than you'd think!

The line can be insane, but we somehow lucked out and there was no wait on a Saturday ~6 PM. This was my first time at this location, and while it was fun being in the middle of Beverly Hills, the drinks and service weren't what I expected. The staff was fairly impatient (despite us being the only customers in the store) and seemed annoyed to provide recommendations to my family who had never tried HeyTea before. We got 5 drinks: triple matcha, brown sugar bobo, king jasmine guava, coconut mango boom, cloud jasmine. All but the king jasmine guava were either bland or extremely salty. The king jasmine guava was easily the best drink we got, but it had mostly a guava taste and very little jasmine. I've never had this experience before at the other locations, so I want to assume they were just having a really off day... All that said, it's Beverly Hills. Even the most popular places can be hit or miss depending on the day. While I was disappointed in this visit, I wouldn't mind giving it another try if I had a craving and was in the area. There's a few stools to sit on, but this is mostly a grab and go spot. Note on parking: there's some street parking in front of the store, but it can be tough to find an empty spot. There's a couple paid garages/lots on the block, and we were able to get free parking since we were there after 6 PM.

I'm already planning to come back for Thanksgiving pies which I have purchased in years past bc everything they make is so gorgeus AND consistently delicious. I love that the staff is always so nice especially Valeria who is so well versed on the menu and so sweet. I also appreciate the thoughtful touches -- being able to get as much water as you want, enjoying the pretty views, people watching, and having food that is presented so beautifully you almost don't want to eat it! This is one of those places you know will always be good, and it's perfect to bring out-of-town guests for a quick, fun bite. I usually come here for breakfast and love getting a brunch and boba drinks with my twins. It's a special spot. This time I was just grabbing a croissant, and they even gave it to me at a discount bc it was later in the day. They seated us right away for our reservation. My mom and I love high tea. We try a new place about twice a year. This place is stunning. The food is okay. I appreciated that my mom and I each had our own stand since most places do two of everything and place on one stand. The tea was good. It is a bit pricey - $135 per person for afternoon tea, an additional $65 per person for unlimited champagne. My mom & I both had the afternoon tea, she treated herself with the unlimited champagne and a $24 caviar bite which was so small, I would consider it half a bite. It was still worth a cute picture and my mom said it was delicious. The tip was included in our bill and was a little over $400. The servers are attentive and checked up on us often. I will say there is limited seating and although it is comfortable, it is a bit awkward. I would come back here for the aesthetics and look however as for food and traditional high tea, most likely not.
