The man working the desk was more concerned with the JETS PATRIOTS game- which was playing on his iPad, than doing his job. Barely any acknowledgment of our presence besides a head shake. I would never recommend this place to anyone regardless of the quality of drinks. FELT SO unwelcome, like we were a burden. Edit---- the latte was delicious. A shame the employees were so bad. Management needs to do better. I own my own Buisness and would not stand for that. read more

Small little coffee shop by the river that is quite charming. They are known for their breakfast sandwiches served on Philly Pretzels which are amazing. We waiting 15 mins for our sandwich and even longer for 2 coffees. The drinks were truly not good so I highly recommend picking up your Americano or latte at Rival Brothers or Rabbit coffee before coming here for a breakfast sandwich. The staff were friendly enough and I would come back next time I am craving the breakfast sandwich! read more

I went here in the afternoon on a random weekday. Fortunately no other customers were there (few came in later for various take outs). I wanted simple pretzel for a snack so I ordered their cinnamon pretzel and latte with almond milk. Pretzel was okay, it was kind of dry and seemed to lack something. I think I want to try their breakfast pretzel next time. Latte was good. The space is small so not that many tables. One thing that bothered me a bit was the service. There were two employees (one in charge of preparing pretzels, and one for making drinks). They both were kind of gruff. I don't know, my thing is if you are in customer service business you need to at least try to be welcoming. read more

Planted on the corner of Pine Street and South 26th Street--Royhome Coffee is very much a Fitler Square neighborhood gem. The coffee / pretzel sandwich shop is located near Schuykill River Park & Trail, so you can get your run or walk in and stop in for some fine coffee or tasty calories. The coffee shop is housed in a former barroom. the interior is pretty narrow and small, but it is neatly kept and has that old school charm. there's a little bit of seating in the back past where pretzel sandwiches are made. there is also more seating outside. be prepared for lines on the weekends as lines often snake out the front door--these lines are primarily for people ordering the various pretzel sandwiches options. there are also grab-n-go options like croissants. been here twice so far-- ordered two Americanos (think the roast might have been Là Colombo idk) but they were both much needed and had a smooth flavored taste as I enjoyed both on two fairly cold days as traversed Philadelphia. anyway there's an extensive coffee menu here and it's clear coffee is a priority here even if many come through for the sandwiches. definitely will try one of the pretzel sandwiches one of these days when there's not a huge line. the staff are friendly and keep the lines of hungry people moving. the crowds on the weekend are neighborhood folk and destination hungover eaters--so your mileage might vary as i have experienced the friendliness low-key regulars as well as the lack of self- aware people who are nursing post booze blues and act a bit gruffer if not outright rude. We stopped in at Rowhome coffee while we were exploring the Schyukil hike and bike trail. It's a pretty narrow spot and the place can get pretty cramped. They have some tables outside but not many and if you are going on a weekend don't expect to find much seating. Regardless of that the coffee was delicious and the service was good. The line moves fairly quickly and all the staff was friendly and helpful. I would definitely go back there again for coffee. read more

The size makes for it hard to have much atmosphere but considering it is right next to a great park and has some outdoor seating makes up for that. The coffee was good but I was a bit bummed they only had plastic cups. The staff was friendly and quick considering the line. Overall a nice stop bye on your way to the park. read more

Our absolute favorite place for a Saturday coffee and breakfast. The pretzel sandwiches and grilled cheeses are out of this world and are consistently great every time. It can be a little bit slow but they have definitely sped up their service. There is a small but increased amount of both indoor and outdoor seating if you want to enjoy onsite! Delicious. The pretzel was so soft and had so much flavor each bite. The eggs were fluffy and the cheese was melty. Pork roll was cooked perfectly. Got there before the crowd so only waited about 20 minutes. If you have the chance, you definitely need to go! It's super small inside but the pretzel alone was worth the wait. read more

Staff were nice and service was fast. I ordered a Pretzel BLT and my partner ordered a Pretzel Bacon Egg and Cheese. I loved mine, the pretzel was fluffy and the bacon was high quality. My partner thought hers was also delicious. The space is cramped so don't go in expecting a study spot, unless you don't mind sitting outside. They are pet friendly and we got to witness multiple cute pups come by. read more

My. Goodness. Spent a night in the city and had a long evening of bar hopping, so what better way to cure a hangover than a coffee and a breakfast sandwich. On a SOFT PRETZEL nonetheless. Very unassuming from the outside, but pleasantly crowded on a sunny Saturday morning with tables and umbrellas outside a few small tables inside. Ordering went quickly and efficiently (I think the attitude we received at the register was due to the busy atmosphere, which I can't blame them, we've all been there). Cold brew and iced americano were delicious and sandwiches came out a little later, but we didn't mind the wait. Sandwiches were HOT with very obviously fresh ingredients. Very unique concept, sandwiches combined with soft pretzels. I'm obsessed with the combination of cream cheese and cinnamon sugar soft pretzel. It looks like a simple breakfast sandwich with egg, cheese, and pork roll, but when combined with the soft pretzel, it becomes an extraordinary breakfast sandwich. All the staff are friendly. It's a cute cafe to hang out with friends. They don't have many seats inside or outside, but you can still enjoy their sandwiches to-go in the park near their cafe. read more

This place is too hyped for my liking. If you go on a weekend day expect this place to be very crowded. We spent 1 hour waited in line and waiting for a breakfast sandwich which was interesting with its bun being a pretzel but nothing to write home about. The place is so small and don't think about keeping your coffee on the only stand type structure they have or you will get called out. The coffee was really good. I got a drip coffee of fishtown blend. The blend consists of Bergamot, Stone Fruit, Caramel. It definitely taste the fruit in this coffee concoction. read more

Oh my lord this pretzel sandwich was life-changing. I'm a soft pretzel fan, and never did the thought cross my mind of adding egg and cheese to make a breakfast sandwich. The pretzel itself had the perfect amount of salt and was lightly buttered. It was soft yet sturdy enough to hold the BIG egg patty n place. The slice of (white cheddar?) cheese added a sharp savory note to each bite. The sandwich was so, so good. The Fishtown blend coffee was also fantastic -- I ordered it black and was glad I did. It needed nothing else. The flavor was rich and robust. I easily could have ordered another. If I lived in Philly, Rowhome would be a regular in my breakfast rotation. Lovely location, cute interior, friendly service, and it was super fast. Just go before 10am on the weekend and you'll be in and out in a jiff. We walked in at like 9:30 and were able to snag a table outside, and our food was ready soon after. Coffee was tasty, Chai latte was not too sweet (thank goodness), and the everything pretzel sandwich was filling, well-seasoned without being too salty, and super yummy with the pretzel and vegan sausage. Like, the pretzel actually enhanced the sandwich with its dense, chewy flavorful dough. Loved it! My husband and I split one and that was a perfect breakfast, not too heavy. read more

The filtered showerhead by Drivse company online add. Do not order from them. They charged me 37.99 and only sent me the showerhead. They had the nerve to say if I wanted the hose and connector it was an extra 25.00. I told them that it didn't say that in their advertisement. I asked for my money back to let me ship the showerhead back to them and they said they couldn't do that. I told them it was false advertisement. That without the hose and connector it was useless. They didn't care. I called this extortion. I am calling the better business bureau. They need to be shutdown because they were misleading consumers in the worst way. DO NOT ORDER THIS PRODUCT. Ebay has the same kit including 4 extra filters for 9.99. Drivse is like Temu. A total scam!!! read more

I have been hearing neighbors rave about Rowhome Coffee and decided to give it a try myself on a Saturday morning. I've heard that it gets pretty busy, but I'm an early riser so I set out to online order when they opened at 8 AM. I was surprised when I was not able to place an order on the online ordering site. Not sure why that was the case but figured it might have something to do with the fact that I was ordering right at the time they open, so I decided to wait a bit and check back. By 8:30 I was able to place my order online and it was due to be ready in 20 minutes. I got to Rowhome a few minutes after the time I was due. There was a small group of people waiting outside for their orders. There seems to be a pickup window outside, so you could avoid going in - I tend to notice these things for future situations where I might be on my own and trying to determine if I should bring my pup along. Luckily my boyfriend joined me for the walk so I was able to leave the pup outside with him and walk in. The staff inside was VERY friendly and polite. I was able to go straight to the register and provide my name. They place my sandwich in a bag and then let me know that my drink would be placed at the window once it was ready. I appreciated that they didn't make my drink early and let it sit to get cold. I ordered a chai latte with oat milk. It was delicious! Perfectly creamy with a nice spice. My sandwich waited until I got home for consumption. The pretzel as a bun concept was really intriguing to me, so I opted for that instead of the Kaiser Roll. I went for a bacon, egg and cheese on an everything pretzel. By the time I got home, the pretzel was a bit soggy and this likely from the foil and my delay in eating it. There was not a ton of everything seasoning. The eggs were scrambled with a decent amount of cheese. Overall, I really enjoyed it. I spent about $15 before tip on the sandwich and my drink. This is a bit on the pricey side for a breakfast sandwich but the service and staff made it worth the price point. If you want to try Rowhome I'd recommend ordering ahead online but arriving prompt to pick up. It might be less soggy if you grab a bench at the Schuylkill River Trail park. read more

10/19/24 Came here after seeing the ig post for the Italian pretzel so had to come by Pine st location since that was closer. Got the Cafe au Lait drink and wish I got there earlier to get the pork roll and sausage. Nice staff and maybe a 15 minute or so wait since the back staff I think was out on short break. Good pretzel and the sandwich while it falls apart was good to try. I wouldn't go out of the way but if in area and around early enough I'd get a breakfast pretzel sandwich. I do prefer Millers Twist as main go to with Wexzels Pretzels but open to try more spots read more

Solid sandwich game. I ordered online and the order was ready for pick up at the window in 20 mins. There was quite a line outside for pickup so this new joint is quite popular but the line moves fast. The Italian sub comes on a super crunchy roll and with mustard. Other than that it is a pretty standard Italian sub. One of the better food options for us in Fitler Square who don't want to travel far for a bite. read more

The staff are very nice and friendly here and the inside has a cool vibe that stays true to the architecture of the building. I got a pretzel egg and cheese sandwich which was good and a good value for the money! Had their coffee too which was also good but prefer other places for coffee in the area. It's also a great location right next to the park so even though it's small on the inside it's nice to take your food out to eat in the park! read more

I came here and got the bacon egg and cheese on a everything pretzel. The pretzel was soft and chewy and you could taste the everything flavor. The bacon was cooked to a nice crisp, which I like. I do wish there was a sweet element. I wonder if they serve their sandwiches with jelly. Next time, I would ask them for that because that would have made the sandwich so much better! read more

We arrived on a busy Saturday morning and waited in line to order. After ordering, the cashier shared that it would be a 15-20 min wait. After waiting on the sidewalk at least 30 minutes, we got our sandwiches and went to go eat them in Fitler Square. Unfortunately I was not blown away. My pretzel had very little salt on it- almost all of it had fallen off. They are also quite large so I had to save half of mine for later. As a midnight snack that night, I warmed it up in the microwave and added some sea salt inside. The salt was definitely an improvement. We got one with vegan sausage and one with regular sausage- both were somewhat dry and the flavor overpowered the rest of the sandwich. It was $21 for two breakfast sandwiches which was reasonable to me given how popular they are. I would say Rowhome is fun to try if you're in the area but not my favorite breakfast sandwich in the city. read more

I live all the way in Springfield, Delco., but heard so much about this place I had to bring my son and his bride down for a tasting. We arrived about 10:30 am on a Monday morning and the shop never slowed down the whole time we were there. Seems like this community knows they've a good thing going. The owners are nice people too who aim to please. My daughter in law got the everything pretzel with sausage, egg and my son the bacon and egg sandwich. When they don't come up for air while eating I know they are very happy with their pick'ns. I got the everything pretzel with pork roll, egg and cheese. Rowhome got it right, this pretzel thing makes for an interesting combo. Half of mine was gone when I remembered to take a picture or you'd have seen the sandwich in it's entirety. Do make it a point to visit Rowhome yourself and checkout the antique bar that came with the place. Quite the beauty. The only drawback was the parking. Don't be like me and take the largest car in the family. It is a residential area and you'll have to peruse for a spot. read more

I made the trip to Rowhome Coffee to try out one of the famous pretzel breakfast sandwiches, and the sandwich did not disappoint. I ordered a sage sausage sandwich on an everything pretzel (which also comes with cheese and eggs) and it was both delicious and filling. At $9, it's not the cheapest breakfast sandwich ever, but given the size of the sandwich I didn't think it was a bad deal. I ordered two sandwiches and unfortunately they messed up the type of pretzel on my second order. Despite that mix up, my boyfriend still enjoyed his pork sandwich. One word of caution - this place is quite popular and can get very busy, especially on weekends. They don't appear to have a phone number, so be sure to check their Instagram page to make sure that they haven't run out of pretzels if you're hoping to get one. I didn't try any of the drinks since I'm not much of a coffee drinker, but they seemed to have a good selection. In any case, I definitely look forward to visiting again. read more

I had to try their pretzel breakfast sandwich. It was OK. Pretzel was a bit tough, and was on pricey side. Pound for pound, I'd rather walk over South St bridge into University City and get an actual Philly breakfast sandwich from one of the two trucks over there for $6, and...bonus...you'll burn off some calories. read more

The bread had a mild cinnamon flavor and was dry. It lacked the sweet, moist dough you expect from a cinnamon bread. My wife ordered the French style omelet. This had gruyere cheese and chives. Beautifully plated, perfectly cooked and the taste was spot on. It was good enough to forget that she paid $21 for just an omelet, no meat, no sides. I ordered the Eggs Benedict. Pretty standard here. The eggs had bright orange yolks which is common for farm fresh eggs. The "coffee" hollandaise didn't come across with a coffee flavor but it was rich and went well with the ham and English muffins. One thing that stuck with me was their drip coffee. Not sure if it has been a while since I had a light roast but the Rival Bros. Revolver coffee was so good, I got a bag of whole beans to bring back home with me. I may even order it again online. Enswell succeeded on all fronts. The ambiance and service was great. The decor, impeccable. The food, thoughtful and tasty. The details from the silverware to the plates added to the experience.
