Great breakfast spot. Good food, cute place, ok service. I got the pumpkin cold brew which was good, not too sweet which I appreciate. Also ordered the avocado toast with a poached egg. Really great flavor with the oil/sauce and seasoning they added, one of the better avocado toasts I've had. It was a bit difficult to get a server's attention when something was needed including the check. We actually never saw our original server again after she dropped off our food, not sure if she had clocked out or not, but another server was able to help us. Would come again! read more

Friendliest, most attentive service ever. They open early (maybe reconsider the 7 am ABBA?!) and provided a perfect place to attend to early-morning work emails while enjoying a delicious breakfast. Came here for breakfast. They provide table service if you decide to dine in. However, service is slow so if you're in a rush, not the place for you. Another thing to note is that the tables are sticky for some reason. I got the Bluestone Lane Burrito ($17) which consists of scrambled eggs, bacon, avocado, sheep's milk feta, crispy potato & guajillo sauce. Cannot go wrong with this and it tastes great as leftover without microwaving it. The Pumpkin Spice Latte ($6.15 for 12 oz) tastes good as expected. If you're paying by card, you'll have to go to the cash register to pay your bill, which is also inconvenient as you'll have to wait in the same line of people there just ordering their coffee. read more

Bluestone Lane was one of the first spot my coworkers and I went to together when I landed. They are an Australian coffee chain. Our original plan was to get breakfast here, but none of us say anything we wanted to eat on the menu so we just got drinks, and headed elsewhere for food. My coworkers had an Iced Chai Latte and a Flat White and I couldn't resist getting a seasonal Pumpkin Spice Aussie Iced Latte. We all enjoyed our drinks. My Pumpkin Spice Aussie Iced Latte came with a pleasant scoop of ice cream in it. Yummm... I liked it so much I ended up choosing this spot for a meeting later during the week when I reordered the same drink. My colleague ordered a Cappuccino and also complimented the coffee. They mentioned being hungry, but after glancing at the menu also decided not to eat here. So my first drink tasted a lot better than my second drink, so something about the way they were made was inconsistent. Also the food menu has room for improvement. Just arrived into Philly and needed something light for my wife to have not to be hungry before our busy afternoon. We found this place in Yelp, and it looks fancy from the outside but is so homey inside. Blue and white colors are very inviting. We went with an iced latte with vanilla and oat milk, and ai had an earl grey tea with vanilla and low fat milk. The server brought my wife a nice tall glass and, for me, a tea kettle with the tea steeping. and the vanilla and milk on the side. This location of Bluestone Lane was terrible. I first found this chain in Hoboken, NJ and then in Washington, D.C., so finding they were in Philadelphia, right near my hotel was great. Well at least that's what I thought. We went to have a quick bite and coffee. It took quite a while to get seated and the only option was the counter so we took it. We sat for about 10 minutes before anyone even came. Then they brought us water and disappeared for another 5-10 minutes. They finally took our order, so we thought we were finally going to eat. After about 15-20 minutes 2 of our 3 meals came out. Assuming it was just a short delay, we waited for the 3rd dish. After another 5-10 minutes we flagged down the server to point out that my wife's dish had not come out and he told us, oh sorry, we were out of what she wanted. Well it would have been nice of someone to tell us. What an absolutely horrible experience. And the food we did get was no where near the other locations that we have visited. This is by far the worst location that I have ever been to. read more

Was staying quite nearby and needed a good spot to work for an hour or so, and Bluestone hit the spot. Love their easy ordering system and the layout of the cafe - great for group dates and and remote workers alike. I went with a really yummy breakfast bowl and a cold brew. The cold brew truly saved me after a night of not sleeping well and was also super delicious. The breakfast bowl was also really tasty and I appreciated the customization options I could add directly while order online. I wanted to love bluestone lane, but my first experience (delivery take out) sort of fell flat. What I ordered: Green baked eggs - With Chimichurri being a focal point, or at least a menu mention, I envisioned layers of flavors throughout every bite, but that wasn't the case. To be honest, not sure I tasted any Chimichurri at all, or salt nor pepper. Overall the dish lacked flavor. The feta cheese was yum, but there wasn't enough of it. Only on the top of the eggs, with most of it ending up as spillover stuck to the aluminum tray the eggs are baked in. The toast served with the entree was the highlight for me. I added a side of avocado to my green baked eggs, and just made my own avo toast as the eggs left a little to be desired. I'm still open to trying out a dine-in experience at Bluestone lane, but I'd definitely order something else. read more

This is my second time at this location and I want to provide info: My first review was also a 3 star, it can be found on this location's Yelp. After that review, customer service messaged me, we talked, and I gave them another try. This review is a 3 star as well. Nothing special, I wasn't excited drinking the coffee. But the food was disappointing. I got an egg and cheese on a croissant and the second I picked it up, it didn't hold its shape. The croissant felt wet on the bottom (I did takeout but my walk was only 2 blocks). I had to eat with a fork and knife and was pretty upset. I couldn't find the bottom of the croissant at one point because it mushed with the egg. Ended up having to toss half of it. I won't return, but can understand why people like it. Not for me, not for the price ($8.50 for a soggy egg and cheese on a croissant). Also, I have to say, a $10 credit is appreciated, but it doesn't allow for many food items to be fully comped, most food is $14+. So giving the location another try doesn't really match the coverage provided. Also side note: download the app to get a free drink to try out before paying for one. *WOULD RECOMMEND* This cafe is such a cute place to grab coffee or breakfast. Located inside the Warwick Rittenhouse Hotel, the cafe is spacious with indoor and outdoor seating available. I love the clean, minimalist aesthetic of the cafe. Every table has a QR code that pulls up their menu and ordering site so you can order and pay directly on your phone. The menu is health focused with a lot of nutritiously balanced dishes full of greens, proteins, and carbs. Although their food menu is not large, everything looks really good and in reality the food also taste good. Definitely one of the few foods healthy foods that I've had that also taste good Their drinks menu on the other hand is quite extensive and similarly, they all look good too. Price wise, everything was very reasonable. *BREAKFAST* Beet latte - the name says it all. It was my first time trying a beet drink of any sorts and you can definitely taste the beets in this. It taste pretty good. Green baked eggs - Shakshuka-style baked eggs dished. Although it came out in a relatively small cast iron, this dish was filling. We used to have coffee and brunch there all the time. Food was good my daughter liked it. But what happened today is absolutely unacceptable. I placed an order at 11:20am and waited patiently in the shop, after 40min it was still not ready so I asked the staff, turned out he didn't see the order at all. Told to wait another 20min (2 sandwich and 1 coffee). We really had to go so asked if he could just cancel the order. There's no cancel option in their App so we asked if he could help. Out of nowhere He was VERY VERY rude , he raised his voice and started yelling at us that there's nothing he could do to help. So shocked people can be so rude, especially working at a cafe. The first thing I noticed inside this place was so many flies!!!! It's like infested with gnats and they are everywhere in this place. Ugh That should have been the first red flag here. The guy working (Jackson?) wasn't welcoming and kind of just stood there looking at me instead of greeting me or even saying hi. I finally found a menu on my own so I could order takeout since the place is very small inside and all the tables were taken. Once I ordered the guy working was polite but not friendly or talkative.. I ordered a small latte and the folded chimichurri eggs over toast. It came to $21 before tip, pretty pricey for what it was. The latte is very very small and was very bitter and gross. I threw it away after trying a few sips because it was that bad. The toast was burnt but the chimichurri sauce and eggs were good so I gave the place 2 stars for whoever made the eggs. If you like crispy bacon, this isn't for you. The bacon was soggy! I probably wouldn't eat here again. I generally love cafe culture so I had to absolutely visit Bluestone. I have initially fried a bunch of them in NYC so when I heard that they were expanding to Philly I was very excited! I quit coffee this year so I've been on a matcha kick but it's extremely difficult to find a healthy and good matcha spot. Bluestone does not disappoint. I really recommend trying their matcha drinks. They have lots of different yummy drinks as well and I love their variety. The food is delicious and healthy especially for someone who is gluten free and dairy free it's a struggle to find options but Bluestone accommodates to dietary needs. I really hope that Philly and suburban Philly gets more cafe culture. read more

Food was good but that's about all I can compliment. I'm not sure why the most recent reviewer said you can bring people here to chat because that was the complete opposite of my experience. It was unbelievably loud in there and there were only two or three other groups. Also the dishwasher/smoothie machine is in the main area and running nonstop which makes it impossible to talk. The coffee was just ok, nothing exciting. The service was very disappointing and off-putting. Our waitress just acted like we were a nuisance and we are very easygoing. They also do sit down brunch and lunch, with some table inside and outside. I got the athlete's burrito and definitely felt like I could go for a run afterwards!
