The restaurant is located on the second floor of a "random" building, so it might be a bit difficult to find unless you are in the know. Although there were not many folks during my visit, the restaurant gives off a very strong Colombian flare. I originally stopped by to get a drink, but I ended up trying the caserito, which was sort of a combo meal. This meal included a delicious soup, a beer filet, beans, rice, and a small salad. It was quite the meal for only $14 bucks. I do not remember the name of the bean-based soup, but it was out of this world delicious. For $14 bucks, I thought the portions were quite generous. The service was pretty good. Since the bartender/waitress did not speak much English, dining here gave me the perfect opportunity to practice my Spanish. I definitely hope to return in the near future to try more items off of the menu and maaaaybe sing karaoke.

Definitely recommend the chicharrones. Service was on point. My waitress made me feel welcome. She was polite and attentive. The only problem that you may encounter is parking. The restaurant doesn't have parking. You just have to find parking on the side of the street or a small public parking behind the restaurant.

Initially stumbled upon this location…read morea year ago when I was shopping at Clarksburg Premium Outlets and it made such a lasting impression that I finally was able to come back for round two. They specialize in Colombian street food, particularly empanadas and hot dogs. Service is quick and they make everything to order. They have a couple of tables and chairs in front of their set-up to enjoy the food. The perro caliente is the star of their menu; I've never had anything like it before coming here. In addition to your standard hot dog, they add mozzarella cheese and onions topped with pineapple sauce, mayoketchup, garlic mayo, and crushed potato chips. The combination sounds wild but the flavors cohesively come together for a delicious bite. I don't even like hot dogs but I was sold in the unique sweet and savory combination of sauces + the incorporation of potato chips. As for the empanada, you can't go wrong with any of their offerings. I've had both the chicken and beef and they were both so tasty. They fry them on the spot and the shell has the perfect crisp with every bite. It comes with a dipping sauce which I believe is one of their mayo sauces which definitely elevates the empanadas. They also offer frozen empanadas that you could take home! I wish I lived closer to enjoy their offerings on the regular. In the meantime, patiently awaiting the opportunity to come back and hopefully bring back a load of frozen empanadas!

The beautiful artwork featuring local women of color from Colombia adds a great cultural touch, and there's plenty of parking. I ordered the Papas Rellenas (picadillo-stuffed potato fritters), which were really big, dense, and satisfying for $5. I also got the bandeja paisa (with kidney beans, steak, fried egg, pork belly, etc.), knowing it would take about 20 minutes on a Monday at 10:45 a.m. That wait felt outrageous, though--only about 10 people were in a space that could easily hold 100. However, the pork belly and steak wasn't overcooked and very flavorful. Even the sausage bursted with flavor. The food was authentic and tasty, but the long wait is a dealbreaker for me unless I'm with a friend craving Latin food and have time to spare. I probably won't return on my own unless it's a weekend and I have time to kill.

We were a party of 6 and the table we wanted was dirty and had to tell one of the cleaners to help us clean. Cleaning can be slow overall but it's better than eating out. It's a decent size place and the lines can be long but a lot of people order out. We got our food after maybe 15 minutes and it was ok. The salad was fresh but everything else seemed to be missing something. Got a couple of desserts when we finished but it wasn't anything spectacular. Not sure that I will go back as it's pretty far from where I live and it just did not seem worth the ride for us.

What do I know about Colombian food?…read more Well, I brought my Colombian foster family from different cities from Colombia, and they couldn't agree more on how good the food was. The outside of the establishment could be a bit nicer, but it was a gem to come here. On the side, it looks like a bar but is family oriented (depending on the time). It opens Tuesday thru Sunday from 3pm to 2am, and it's closed on Monday. My family ordered everything from the menu. Arepa, sancocho, Bandeja paisa, carne asada, chicharron. All the dishes were served in big portions, and the favlor my uncle had the best time ordering beer from Colombia, and the sancocho (stew) was delicious. He said it was the best dish he had in years here in the DMV area if not the only one worth coming back (qlwe drove 50 minutes to come here). I looked up Colombian food in my area and this place popped up. I ordered two queso arepas and one beef /queso and chicken/ queso arepa. Keep in mind I thought they would be a lot smaller thus why I order two a piece. Then I ordered a grilled meats entree for my fiancé and I to split with the arepas. First off the arepas looked like small personal pizzas. I was highly disappointed in that. They were tasty but not what I wanted. My fiancé said the beef was a little salty to him as well. The Grilled meat Entree was not good the Plaintains were sweet and soft. The rice was basic white rice but the meat was like chewing leather but the flavor was decent. The texture just was not there. The club Colombia reminded me of vacation so they were very nostalgic. The restaurant doubles as a bar playing Colombian music. We might entertain the bar for beer but defiantly not for arepas !
